PES Select Protein: Read up!

Good video. Tastes exactly how it smells with a strong cinnamon/vanilla taste.. Sounds interesting. 12oz is a lot for a scoop of protein (for the majority) it did look like it was on the thinner side. be eager to see how it mix's up in yogurt and how it bakes.

I ordered my PES Protein about 20 minutes ago and it is STILL NOT DELIVERED YET!!!! PES, what is going on? What terrible customer service, you may have lost a customer. ;)

SHADDUP! and put that shyt on an ebay 7 day auction (or maybe 10 day according to some reports on PES shipping), by the time the package gets there you'll have it sold already, and make your money back plus a few bucks if you raise up the bid with an alternate ebay ID. You're welcome :D

Thanks for the tip. I just bought some on ebay for $32 and paid just $18 for shipping . . . a STEAL! Best part, I received it 10 mins ago.
 
I didn't even order it and I still haven't gotten mine yet, obviously a company with good customer service would give free tubs of product to De__eB.
 
Just as an order update, we have had a LOT of emails from people asking us to track orders.

One person asked if we could track an order because we hadn't replied to his email yet and it was already sitting at his address lol.

Every order I have looked into has been processing at the minimum, even people who didn't get email confirmation.

However, if there is a reason you are concerned about your order status please send me an email [email protected] and I will promptly look into it.

Thats debatable.
Seeing it has some MPI/CASEIN in it, this may not rise very well. May be better for binding agents like rice puddings, bread puddings, and cheesecakes.
Time will tell though.

So here's the deal. My protein comes today but I have to wait a whole WEEK to try it as I'm out of town. My friend got his yesterday. He doesn't like protein powders. Here is his slightly edited (for language) review, as he is not an AM member

"It's the best protein I've ever drank in my entire life. I actually had s3x with the open container last night. Twice. Once I was on the top. Once it was on the top.

Hmmm, I wouldn't be able to have sex with a 2lb container. I need at least a 5lb tub so I don't tear it open.

I'd hate to crack the tub, and waste the protein.

Well my review isnt as good as that^^^^, but snickerdoodle is really freaking good. The other two are good too but snickerdoodle is well above the rest IMO.

Just tried Snickerdoodle.. Almost reminds me of XF UP 2.0 Cinnamon Roll. It's a flavor I definitely need to be in the mood for. But very good. 9/10 for the taste.
 
Have only tried the cookies and cream flavor so far and it is very good. No stomach issues (which I have with some whey products). Great job as usual PES.

CnC is what I am interested in. How does it compare to other CNC proteins you have tried?

It's my favorite one so far, my only CnC comparison would be to Optimum Nutrition's cookies and cream, which I didn't enjoy at all.

yeah totally disgusting flavor on that one, my God. The only flavor that is halfway decent with ON is their mint chocolate, since mint can mask just about anything and make it taste like mint....which is a hard flavor to beat if you like mint flavor....pretty dominant flavor as far as taste goes.

Cookies and cream are usually hit and miss for me. Honestly, I've yet to actually taste a protein powder that did taste like cookies and cream, that is until PES Select, which does actually taste like cookies and cream. Thank the lawd.

The worst CandC I ever tried was that garbage protein vpx makes. That was the only time I threw a full tub of protein in the trash.

Lol. A couple of the VPX protein blends gave me stomach problems. I gave them away to people I disliked.

I already addressed this earlier. We don't want amino acid filler in a protein product. Also, several amino acids (BCAAs + aromatics) compete for the leucine transporter, and consuming a huge bolus of protein as in Select Protein may overwhelm the transporter in the gut. Dipeptides bypass this by using their own transporter.

Conversely, a product called AMINO IV is obviously geared towards amino acids. Hence, L-Leucine and not leucine peptides.
