PES Presents SELECT!

I ordered 6 tubs of PES Select that burned up in a Fedex trailer fire. Can you tell me who I need to contact from PES about this? Thanks for the help
 
Ya I've been waiting and checking tracking. Said it was supposed to arrive on Friday 13th but never came so I finally went down to the fedex office here in town after the 1-800 number had no clue where my package was and had to talk to the regional sales manager. Frickin sucks!!!

Wow!!!!

So not only did PES respond to my email within half an hour, they already have a duplicate order packaged and on its way to me. Great customer service, can't thank PES enough for taking care of it so quickly!!

So i got in the cookies and cream last night. All i can say is....

Oh...My...God

So delicious!
 
So I just got my snickerdoodle tonight finally. Opened it immediately and took a big sniff ha. Smells just like real cookies so I had to try some.

First impression is amazing. Mixes extremely well, especially for a blend. The flavor was incredible. I love cinnamon and use it just about any sweet dish and even on eggs and chicken sometimes so this was right up my alley. The flavor was plenty strong as I was able to add 30oz to a scoop and enjoy it still. Has a good consistency even with thy much water an isn't just watered down and bland. Just enough sweet to satisfy a craving for cookies and the cinnamon is just a bonus for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my first taste and can't wait to try some baking and maybe some cottage cheese "ice cream".

Great stuff as always from PES and well worth the wait.
 
Had snickerdoodle again last night, this time in a shaker with however much milk. Tastes like buttery cinnamon, that's the easiest way to explain it. My wife said to her it was like the toast she makes herself with breakfast (butter + cinnamon sugar). I don't exactly recall what a snickerdoodle cookie tastes like (it's been a long time) so I'm not sure if thats what the cookies taste like.


I get clumps when mixing in a shaker, today I did 1 C+C and 1 Snickerdoodle in the shaker postWO. It was good, again with clumps still. Although, I don't think it's as good as C+C alone.

Finally tried the snickerdoodle last night and like most everyone else I am pretty impressed. One of my first thoughts was " I should have ordered more", lol. Taste is one point- not too sweet and somewhere between a snickerdoodle and cinnamon bun. Sits very well and obviously has great digestibility. As someone who drinks a lot of pure isolate the mix-ability isn't perfect ( can't be stirred with a spoon), but that's sort of expected being a blend. However I found it mixed up very smooth with milk in a shaker, so pretty easy solution. Overall another big win for pes.

We actually reduced the particulate size of our MPI. MPI is one of the hardest proteins to mix otherwise

Oh absolutely! Don't get me wrong this is still leaps and bounds better in terms of mixability (and taste) than any other mpi heavy blend I've tried. It also doesn't have that certain chalky taste I've come to associate with mpi. Really excellent works guys! Looking forward to trying the other flavors(already in my possession).

Three morning/evenings of testing... all mixed very quickly in a shaker cup.

Chocolate - with water: excellent, with almond milk: excellent
Snickerdoodle - with water: excellent, with almond milk: even better
CookiesNCream - with water: very good, with fat-free milk: excellent

I should have ordered more Snickerdoodle, lol.

*All are going to make excellent ice cream.

As an update I tried C&C again using half the milk. Taste was much more like C&C. I think the flavor is a little light so the lest liquid you can mix it in, the better.

if you look at total protein per container and not total weight and compare to other quality brands and take the quality of protein into consideration. The price is competitive.

As consumers we've been brainwashed by the Protein Filler game the last couple years. I sure was mislead until diving into the business. Protein is a VERY low margin item with no room for mistakes in the supply chain. If they pad it with 3-10 grams of cheap aminos margins begin to skyrocket and the brand becomes promotional with the protein. its the difference from a 15% margin and a 45% margin...

Don't get me started on the different games played with Whey concentrate. Also, Whey hydrolysate may only be a whey isolate that has 2 percent hydrolysate in the composition....

I never understood why consumers went cheap on the number ONE nutrient responsible for muscle growth, recovery, immunity, etc.

The protein game is dirty. O

You're right. I don't buy as much steak and chicken breast as I should. I went cheap.

Blah my thoughts are already known in this thread. Im going to listen to peta and stop beating the dead horse. To all who enjoy this product I wish you a tastey run. I cant justify spending that much atm for 1.96 lbs. Got a baby on the way. Thats my burden not yours. I will say however enjoy the product for the taste. In terms of quality if you know where to look you can find high quality at a low price.

Just my .02

I am waiting for chef bob to get his to make some goodies!

Protein Powder is a substitution for whole foods not a replacement but if you drink, it should be quality.

In relative terms, would you pay the price for a 20gram chicken breast if 5grams of that was a packet of glycine....
