There's a difference between promoting a product and shilling. I don't have a problem with people making money off their name; this isn't about that. Making BS claims that are obviously untrue is another story. Read the article below and tell me that's plausible.

Biotest Store at T NATION | How John Meadows "Accidentally" Got Into Contest Shape

Plazma, indigo-3G, w/e. It's all overpriced garbage that only idiots would spend money on. The people pushing those products are taking HGH and gear and claiming their results are from their BS supplements.

I respect Meadows for his training programs and will read his articles but basically disregard anything he says about supplements.

I don't dispute that you might have better time under tension with a shorter range of motion, but you won't be able to get the same amount of explosiveness if you stop the rep short. Furthermore, pullovers are a better activator of pec major than they are of lats, and there are better ways to train lats than pullovers, like weighted pull-ups.
I like pullovers for serratus, core, and lats I have no problem activating my lats on DB Pull Over and machine pull overs are better though due to a full ROM. That or straight arm lat pull downs work wonderfully. Of course I have never done pull overs for mass but only as an accessory movement. I do use the machine when my elbows are injured so I can still hit my lats decently.

LOL yeah I read that one and shook my head... Read it a while back long enough ago to forget I read it. I like to tell myself he is an actor playing a role in that aspect. I will say what you pay me to say then go my merry way. I don't look to the guy for his supplement savvy though, his diets and training however are a different story...

Hahaha!! A guy came in the gym Wednesday morning and went straight to the squat rack. Thin guy. Loaded 385 on it. Kept his feet less than shoulder length apart and then pumped out 10 reps. Well, 10 reps of dropping down a couple inches. He stopped after 10, stretched his arms and neck, unloaded the plates, and walked out. Me and another guy just looked at each other like did that just really happen? Hard to believe he went to the trouble to do that at 0530...

Actually those are called partials and they're very effective at overloading the muscle when used as a finisher at the end of a workout or at the end of a set to push yourself beyond failure

Pages later....

Nice sesh Kat. Those squats look strong to me for taking it light. I don't see a whole lotta women doing a plate on a heavy day.

I think he was training his ankles or toes. Helluva lot of weight on there. Gotta love the chain restraint around his waist, that had to hurt when he was trying to push!

Pullovers were intended as a mass movement, inititally, mostly for chest, but they work the entire upper body. Back in the day, it was the primary upper body mass movement, actually (this is in the 1920s or something). For some reason they fell out of vogue for awhile, but then arnold and others really brought it back for a bit but it seems they've been again out of vogue in the last 10-15 years. The last person to spend a lot of time doing them was Ronnie.

I think pullovers are great for mass, but you have to use a lot of weight. I use 120-150, which is great for mass, if your elbows and shoulders can support the ROM. If you've ever had a shoulder dislocation I wouldn't recommend heavy full ROM pullovers.

I like pullovers for serratus, core, and lats I have no problem activating my lats on DB Pull Over and machine pull overs are better though due to a full ROM. That or straight arm lat pull downs work wonderfully. Of course I have never done pull overs for mass but only as an accessory movement. I don't trust anything on t-nation about supplements at all. It's the worst type of shilling.

Rest day!!!!! :) <img src="http://anabolicminds.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=104895"/>
Hahah "yeah, don't put me down for cardio" ;)

Happy Monday! Man, was it nice to have a free weekend! Slept till 10:30 on Saturday! Felt so good! Had a nice DOMS in my legs not disabled though! Lol Was awakened at 12:45 by the sound of my son getting sick. Luckily just one time and he was done. I sure hope they're both over this mess...this is the 3rd time in a month one of them has thrown up! :(

Back day
One arm bb row (plate weight only)
10x8
20x8
35x8
45x8
55x8
These really lit my lower lats on fire!! Loved them!

SS
Partial wide grip pulldown
120x8
130x8
135x8
140x8

Wide grip seated rows
85x10
90x10
95x10
100x10
Went lighter on these to really squeeze and control slow/full motion

DB pullover -head off bench DB to forehead
40x12
45x12
45x12
OUCH!!!

Banded hyper extensions
3 sets to failure
I had an old set of tube bands at home that I've been using for the over and backs. Really looking into getting a set of the flat ones.

Middle and lower back are nice and cramped up- love that feeling!!

Cardio 30 mins- will go back at lunch time for abs and maybe more cardio. Depends on our schedule at work! 2 more weeks of summer so we will be busting butt to get everyone in before school starts back.

Update on MacaPro. Really loving this stuff! Still taking 2 a day. One thing that I've noticed but didn't really want to jump the gun and say anything...is I usually get painful cysts every month. I did not get one, or at least that I can tell this month. Looked it up as well and maca root is one of the first natural remedies used because it increases the progesterone produced by the body! So far this is really looking like a staple supplement for me! Definitely will be recommending it to other women!

^^ This.

Especially the BB row, pulldowns, and rows. 55 is a lot of weight to pull with your body weight on 1 arms.
