HereToStudy Sleeps Deep and dives into the Pink! [Dual Sponsored Log]

I'm in the same boat as you HTS... I've been toying around with the idea of running my first PH for a good while now, and after exhaustively researching all there is available I think I've settled on a Turinabol/Androhard cycle... Seems like most Logs and reviews tout good gains with very minimal sides... I don't like the idea of using a SERM, because it can cause a myriad of problems on its own, so this cycle along with the TRS + TCF & some liverjuice/hawthorne berry seems like it will be perfect.

But if you're dead set on SD, you've got a 1 up on most due to the research and preparation you've already done... so props on that!

Alright i messed up last night and had two smokes. I am not to happy with myself but it happened and it is what it is, between the hawks getting owned and a quasi fight with the gf i slipped.

Well i am off to the gym. Slept in a little today and just downed 1.5 scoops agst, so its time to punish myself for last night.

Btw, although i will run the sd still at some point, i am going to give the turinabol a shot first. As of now i will run it solo but i will talk to sone pp reps about the androhard, it isnt much for sides so if the benefit of adding it is worth it i will give it a shot.

Hahaha Brian Bosworth! Aka "the Boz".. I was raised in Oklahoma, been a sooner since I was bout 7 yr old. Went to OU for 3 semesters before changing my direction in life. But I wasn't a Viking fan until recently when they aquired Adrian Peterson :) (Brett Favre didn't hurt either) but point is that college football is where it's at for me. But now I live in SEC country and they all dislike any team from the BiG 12.

and try teh equate patch for smoking, takes the "edge" off. makes it super easy atlesat for me and my friend it did

Um someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think androhard is similar Methyl Masterdrol v2 not Methyl 1-D. :dunno:

I have actually been pretty good as of late, I have not even thought about it and am slowly getting to the point where if someone is smoking around me the smell disgusts me, looks like progress is going good.

Let me know how you like the Androhard, I have considered that for a while since it came out. I do have Methyl-1D and it is similar so I might run that instead...

Well the only reason for looking at the Androhard is the DHT, but I am kinda ehh to the possible DHT sides. I don't show any signs of hairloss, but I wouldn't want to force it. I am not sure how the comparisons to Masterdrol/Methyl 1-D is as I am not to familiar with them, But I thought both of them did not give a conversion to DHT, which is what Androhard actively converts too? Maybe we can get a third party to chime in...
 
Time for an update:

Still been smoke free since my slip-up, so that is going good. Hit the gym for a good while yesterday, and had a pretty solid workout. I am enjoying the AGST as a preworkout, and doing 2 scoops yesterday did very well. I am feeling a bit stronger/more of that alpha feeling, I am wondering if this is caused my the resveratol in the AGST, but I am not sure because I figured it would be low dosed enough to not have that dramatic of an effect. Anyway:

Lifts:

Squat - I pushed another +5, but i did one less set. I was happy to get another +, but realized I should have waited a bit as I do like to get 5 complete sets down.

Bench - Got +5 here and was very happy with it, 5 clean reps, no issues. My bench is my biggest struggle, so I am always happy to increase it.

Deadlifts: Interesting comments here: I actually decided to go down a slight bit because i was thinking that the increase in weight lately has maybe pushed back on my good form. As I was lifting maybe -10 from where I was at, a much bigger guy came up to me (in between set) and was like "hey man, you got a pretty nice deadlift," based on his size I literally looked behind me first thinking he was walking to someone else, because he was pretty built and easily could have deadlifted more then me, and I just gave a "thanks, I try.." well basically he noticed that at the top of my dead lift I sometimes do a bit of a shrug, if I have the energy, he told me that something he has worked into his back routine is deadlifting with dumbells as well as the barbells, and at the top of the dumbell dead lifts he brings them to his side and shrugs, back out front and back down. Kinda hard to describe, but I definitely enjoyed the exercise. It seemed to give less concentration on the back then the barbells did, but did hit alot of upper body and I really enjoyed them. If you read these boards man, thanks!

Did other things such as Chest press machine, curls, leg press, jog.....

This morning I got up and went running along the lake shore (I love chicago) with my girlfriend. Not to high intensity but it was nice to get out in decent weather for some light cardio.

Tonight is game 5 of the stanley cup, for the love of god can we get a blackhawks victory!

Totally forgot to mention: I woke up this morning with a very strange sense of dreaming. I basically remember having a intense introspective dream, one that makes me question things as they are going on, and look into myself, but unfortunately could not remember any of it, very unfortunate because I love those kind of dreams no matter how intense they get.

Kudos to HGHpro for keeping me well rested and allowing me to accomplish much more during the day as well.

btw androhard is same compound as the original mmv2. you can tell if it is original-it was caps not dissolvable tabs. you might recheck the old logs but i don't think anyone reported dht sides like hair thinning or bad prostate problem-i know i didn't have any sides at all. much better option to stack androhard/turin than run sd, imho.

I agree, which is why I decided to make the switch. I am still a fan of SD from not only word around these parts but from discussions I have had with people in the gym (original SD-not SD-LV, but same **** better delivery imo), so I am glad that I did grab a bottle of SD-LV while I could, but don't mind holding off for quite some time (PP said I can keep it in a fridge for up to 5 years/2 out of fridge), and run the turinabol/androhard which should provide very good results and less sides (which will allow me to assess my reaction to PHs).

But hey, I still got the wonder that is Pink Magic coming up shortly. I might actually have the last couple days of my HGHpro and the first couple days of my Pink Magic overlap a bit. We shall see...

I get to sleep anywhere within a 3 hour period of time each night, meaning some nights it is 11, some nights it is 1, just depends what I have to get done. That seems to be the only variable in my sleep. Besides that every night I wake up once, usually about midway through my sleep period to goto the washroom, then instantly out again when I hit the sheets. Back to some of the deepest sleep of my life, and I pop up right around 7:00-7:20 ready to get prepared for work, regardless of my alarm working properly or not (long story).

Now to compare this to my sleep before:

I still had the variable amount of time to get to sleep, but often tossed and turned in attempt to get to sleep. Once I did I would often awake during the night at multiple points with no purpose (not just a goto the washroom trip), and if my alarm would not go off, I would easily sleep till 1:30 in the afternoon, and still be groggy.

(Weird Weird Dream'....)

I seriously had a pretty strange dream last night. It was as if I had taken a psychedelic but tried to go through life as normal. Sitting at work with desks melting, riding the train on what appeared to be clouds, surfing the internet by entering the computer, seriously crazy. I wish I recalled all the details, I would have written a book...

Lifting went pretty well.

I changed the order a bit and dropped my power cleans to fully switch over to clean and presses.

Managed to add +10 for the last three sets on my power clean, but failed on my last rep of the last set, bummer....Oh well, these things feel pretty great, I do really enjoy them more then power cleaning with more weight.

My squat was feeling pretty good, but I wasn't comfortable going up in weight, so just same 5 sets from last session. I am at a good spot, I get to the point that I can hardly stand until I rest it off after a set.

P.S. How many of you go beyond parallel? I was always taught to, but I don't. The reason behind it is I had a femur injury back when I was in high school and it put alot of pressure on my knee at the time. If I go below parallel, I get a pain in the area surrounding that knee, and this is even at a lighter weight... My ass hits about parallel and I go up. I am sure my weight is higher then it would be if I went lower, but if I am not competing, does it really matter?

Recovery went pretty good. Tonight dinner might be a cheat meal as I am going to see my grandmother, who is one hell of an italian cook :D

P.S.

Aprox Diet style:

5 Eggs (3-4 Whole), Turkey Bacon (3 slices), 1/2 Cup Oatmeal
Chicken Breast/Brown Rice
Chicken Breats/Veg. or Brown Rice
Chicken/Lean Beef/Fish and Veggie/Sweet Potato/Rice/etc...
Protein Shake (2 Scoop)
Cottage Cheese (Decent amount don't measure)

Ocassionally I will grab an extra RTD protein or protein bar when I am at work near a local pharmacy.

I never squat. Well, maybe like 3-4 weeks out of the year I will do squats about once a week during that time.
 
^ I try to go below para every time, but when my weights are heavier (realtively speaking lol) I get scared of dropping the bar on the pins so I stop at 90 lol.
 
Well at least i am not the only one. I know ass to the grass is the way to go, but its just one of those things that leads to actual pain in my knee, and i usually choose to take the safe route in the gym.

BTW: I just go through part one of Red Cliff by John Woo. Definitely a good movie to check out if you like the battle scene type movies, although as a precurser it is in chinese with english sub titles.

Been there, and have done that. Cold turkey blows, and can be hard on your body. Get some help... call up the American Lung Association... I have donated to them for years since they helped me quit. They get you on a self paced program, and will prescribe you either Patches and Wellbutrin, or Chantix... I would advise the Chantix.

They can prescribe it? As in there wouldn't be a doctors appointment necessary? Do you remember how much the medication costs?

They did for me at the time... this was back in the military days. If I remember correctly, they dial up the prescription for you, call your doc and get them to confirm or something like that. At the time I was on TriCare, but lived away from base and had the normal copay for the script. I know most insurance (As I am sure you know) are happy to help someone quit smoking since it is less out their pocket. I pulled this number from an old email I had, this is who I called to pointed in the right direction.

I will save this info, but I probably won't be doing it now because of potential interactions between the medication and my current plans for the next month or two. But will definitely give this a shot. I heard the nightmares are wicked.

I never got any out of normal dreams from Chantix... but my first try was with the Patches/Wellbutrin... now those gave me some wild dreams. The only thing I got from Chantix was nausea at the beginning.

Side update on the HGHpro:

I am definitely noticing the increase in appetite that some have noted in their logs. I am eating really clean, but when I get into eat everything in front of you mode it gets hard lol.

So far today

5 Eggs
5 Slices Turkey Bacon
1 Slice Wheat bread (didn't have time to make oatmeal)
Chicken Breast (Aprox. 6oz) in a terriyaki sauce (Sugary im sure, but use small amount)
3/4 cup of brown rice
1 Banana

Still up for rest of work day:
1 more chicken breast, about 1/2 cup brown rice.

Unfortunately, I will probably only get one more good meal in for the day after that and then bar food/alcohol afterwards for what I hope is the final game of the stanley cup.
 
Consume some beer and wings for me my friend!

Also, I think beer carbs are ok with hghpro. LOL

HAWKS WIN!

Oh man I was nearly in tears, absolutely amazing. Might be one of the greatest days of my life. I need to get my jersey cleaned because it was drenched in champagne.

The city was on fire, we were out all night...Unfortuantely, the police shut down all the major bar districts. For those of you that know Chicago, we originally watched it in Wrigleyville, then hit up my friends place, went back to Wrigley and the cops started "asking bar owners to close," which they unfortunately complied with. So we headed to the Clark street bars, which after 10 minutes of being there had the same problem. Oh well, I am at work right now, and if I could have partied all night I might have, so it might be a good thing. Unfortunately, the parade is schedule for during the day friday, so I can't get out of work. Ugh...

I will be back at the gym today, time to beat my body to make up for last night!
 
The next stage!

Alright, it is time for the transfer to begin. Last night 45 minutes pre workout, I dosed 2 pills of Pink Magic. The begining of the next stage of this journey.

I will be dosing this according to the label, 2 pills 3 times a day, with 2 additional pills taken pre workout. So far I had a pre workout dose last night, a pre bed dose, and my morning dose today. I am excited to see what Pink Magic will bring to my plate.

This is being bridged with my last few days of HGHpro. I am trully sad that my supply is running out. The sleep this product has given me has been incredible. It actually was my first HGH product (I do have a bottle of IGF-2 from app nut that I picked up on wheycheap also). I was very impressed by the results. I won't give a final review as I am still taking it, but can already declare it a winner.

Last night and tomorrow will be my normal workout routine. I am considering the possibility of starting the more advanced routine presented by GeekPoop. Everyone please rep him if you get a chance, he has been more then helpful putting that together for me.

As for last night's workout:

Squat: I desperately wanted to get another +5. I had pumped myself for it all day. Unfortuantely, I didnt have it in me. I got the bar on my back, and had that quick thinking of "John - Your pushing yourself to fast, and this is heavy." I know its only +5, but I try my hardest to avoid injury, and just decided to let my body make the decision. Went back to my previous PR, and did 3 sets of it at 5 reps. Felt good...

Bench: My other goal was to add +5 to my bench. My bench is by far my biggest lacker as far as lifts are, so I really wanted to get this up. Fortunately, I completed 2 sets of the +5 weight at 5 reps. Very excited. I then actually for the first time ever did a strip run with bench which felt good. The only thing that bothers me is I always feel bench in my triceps more then my chest, it is very hard for me to make my chest sore, but it isnt a form issue. Maybe my tri's are just weaker then my actual chest. Either way, +5 :fing02:

Deadlifts: Stayed pretty consist, I think I moved up a bit faster then I should have with the deads, so I am comfortable keeping it at the level I am at until I feel comfortable going for another weight. Good stuff as well.

I finished off my workout by killing various circuit machines until I was ready to drop. Good overall workout.
 
Do you have the beta Pink Magic or the final released addition? I think you will really like the Pink and dosing it higher than I did should yield impressive results.

It is the beta pink. I had applied to the HGHpro log and then shortly after the Pink Magic Beta. Shortly after I applied to the Pink, I was chosen for the HGHpro, so I withdrew my application to the Pink. USP informed me that they still wanted me to run a log on it, even if it had to be run after the HGHpro. Needless to say I was very happy, and still extend much thanks to Anabolic Innovations and USP labs! You can imagine, however, how hard it has been seeing that bottle sit in my cabinet while reading all the amazing logs that have been out about it.

I am excited to report them. I absolutely love when a product lives up to what the company states about it. This log really looks like it will give me a double whammy. So far the HGHpro has been amazing, my recovery is nearly a matter of hours (and I feel like I could hit the gym again), my sleep is a dream, literally. Now with the pink, based on all the logs I should see another product on par as far as meeting the hype. Are you going to log? I would hope to receive an invite :fing02:

I used the Nicotrol inhaler and that worked great for me. Just do your best that is all any of us can do.

Yea I have seen that one as well. The only thing I do like about the Chantix over the nicotrol is that it stops the body from receiving nicotine, and I am one of those that has trouble believe in programs that help you quit using nicotine. But like I said earlier, it will be a while before I give it another go because it doesnt fit into the next couple months because of products I will be taking, and potential interactions. When the time comes, I will research both.

Thats right the new NutraPro Chocolate Graham Cracker 5lb tub!

As some of you might have seen, I absolutely fell in love with NutraPro protein after receiving samples, the flavor was spot on, the mixability was beyond anything I have seen and consistency kept me happy.

Well I don't really have to comment on anything but flavor, since all other aspects are pretty spot on with what I have stated in my original review.

For the flavor I will have to give it a 9.5/10. It is better then all the other flavors I tried originally, however, I think it lacked a bit on the chocolate side. The graham cracker taste is rich but smooth, very good tasting. It has a hint of chocolate flavor, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more. I am very happy with this purchase, however, and like i said it is my current favorite.

I might if I eventually get some extra cash (who the hell am I kidding), try to pick up a different flavor in the 5lb. Since they don't offer a 10lb'r yet, though they said it might be coming, I figure I can switch between two 5lb'rs. It would need to be extra cash for that luxury though, because I have a sample of trutein's casein powder on the way, and since I have been looking for casein, assuming the taste is decent, Ill be grabbing a tub of that as well.

I started using that term because of a guy who originally showed it to me in a gym refered to his sets as runs, and he was the first to show me what I think should be called strip sets. But, obviously he called them stripper runs. Like I said I think they are called strip sets, but someone else can probably chime in.

Its basically similar to this, using the example that you can rep 300 x 5

You do 300 x 5
Then 250 to fail
Then 200 to fail
Then 150 to fail
Then 100 to fail
etc...

It is not something I do often, but it surely makes you sore as hell.
