Yah I have a real hate on for veggies after a prep like this..

and considering veggies dont taste bad at all...but its so much one man can take of eating green...all day...day in and day out....

If it makes you feel better I may be right there grazing it up with you in a few weeks
 
I have so much better control with repetitive meals and really I can eat things for a very long time with out getting overly tired of them. That being said I don't even count my greens, nor the carbs in my almonds / nuts. I just shoot for 200-300 less calories than what I need and let the greens and carbs in the almonds or peanut butter fill that extra space and just go with it. I only really pay attention to the protein and fats on this particular diet. Just makes it very simple. Simplicity is exactly what I need in a diet.

Yah that's what I like about the Warrior diet... Contest dieting is a different animal totally.
 
Slayed another Dragon yesterday...

I was wondering if I could continue with the increases, my joints being a little sore so I put my bench up 10 lbs to give the shoulder another test. Came through very nicely.

This was my shorter 3 X 10 45 second rest day

Went up 10 lbs also on bent over rows, it got pretty challenging towards the end and had to use a bit of body english but most reps were very tight with no extra movement.

Wheel of death rest pause 8 and 3, it's getting better but I still hate them....

45 minutes on the Precor cross trainer, sweated about a bucket...

Was back down to 214, so 4-6 lbs high but have 2 months to get that down, who knows I might add some mass as well.

I will slowly improve over the next 8 weeks, will increase my testopro dosage slowly to 6 ed. Then a week off and It's PM and Prime so by the mid Autumn most of my former strength should be back if rehab has worked. Then we're gonna see what a real warrior can do. No more of this wounded shyte.

Some of the most popular diets around (The Scivation Diets) allow you to eat as many fibrous vegetables as you want, disregarding the carbs in them.

Yah I would be allowed to eat more if I could the only reason you keep track is to make sure you're getting 50% of you're carbs from fibrous sources...
 
Yesterday I was up another 10 lbs on the close grip bench for 3 sets of 10 45 seconds rest, and... it was maybe a bit easier than last week. My obar curls stayed the same and I cleaned up the technique like I said I would and it was a big success...

Today is a big day for bench 10 X 3 and I will go up another 10, this will really test the shoulder...

I picked up some costco Glucosmine/Chondroiton/MSM and my cissus should be arriving today so the joints are going to get some help..

Yesterday was another good day, I went up those 10 lbs and held it through the first 5 sets and still finished stronger than I did last week. (Bench) Shoulder is holding out very well so far.

Bent over rows were up 10 lbs and Phenomenal, 0 body movement, perfect... I could not do this last week with a lighter weight.

On an negative note, I did not get my Super Cissus as my trainee who was going to pick it up for me ran into a few snags. I put a rush order and NP yesterday. Joints are holding out pretty well though. As far as dosing I was thinking 5 ed of super cissus.

Weight was 215.5 yesterday, still need to get that down a bit.
 
great news on the +10 for the bent over rows. Had that myself today. Hit 315 for 2, but the second one the form just cannibalized itself. Dropped it back to 225 for an immediate drop set of 10 with perfect form. Felt great. What angle are you keeping it at? I try to hover around 45 degrees and pull to between me belly and chest.

You were over 240 when you starting your contest preparation. what bodyfat is the highest youll allow yourself since you got all of it off?

From now on I plan on staying between 11-13 % "offseason"

great news on the +10 for the bent over rows. Had that myself today. Hit 315 for 2, but the second one the form just cannibalized itself. I stay much lower almost 90 degrees and try not to move anything but my arms. You can't use huge weights with this method but it's very effective. The trick is while you bend right over you keep your back arched in the Gorilla stance. It takes some time to develop the flexibility though. Not that 45 degrees is not effective, this method I use is more ... precise and covers more of the back.

Yah the patience is hard and I am not going to see the numbers I want till sometime in the fall. I am 40 to 50 lbs away on most lifts. I will close that gap in the next couple weeks.

Yah I want to stay lower than 15% for sure, closer to 10-12%, I am hovering around 13-14 right now...

The haven't scheduled the next season yet so don't know when the next show is. I want to get the girls ready to do figure at the Easterns next year and I kind of want to move up a level myself so I could have another 15 months or so depending on scheduling.

Up 20 lbs on leg press for 5X5,

Up 20 lbs calf lever 5X5

Now for the hard part Up10 lbs on clean and press, man it's getting tough. I got the first 3 and was feeling incredible. I wasn't sure I was going to make it. Got 4 next set and said fug it I am not lowering the weight. I got 4 and failed on the fifth, just ran out of gas. My quickness no the clean always costs me as I am not quick enough. I was glad when they were done, let me tell you.

So lets do a halfway recap

Bench up 20 lbs on 10X3 and 3X10
Bent over rows up 20 across the board
Leg Press up 70
Clean and Press up 20

I will add another 10 on the close grip tonight for a total increase of 20 lbs
I am staying put on the curls up 10 so far...

I just watched sly do clean and presses in the newest Rocky. That is a motivational movie right thur. I wonder if he was really cleaning 3 plates on each side o.O

I can't imagine doing that much, the thing is it's just as much or more about quickness as it is about strenth. My son could clean in the mid 200's when he was 18 cuz he movement was very quick and precise.
 
Mission accomplished last night no reps missed and held the 10 lb increase on close grip for all 10 sets.

Obar curls were much better this week as well, I may consider a small increase next week..

My joints are sore and so are my muscles, a much deserved day off today....

Keep killing it DW and don't worry too much about weight this week we had a Holiday. I am up at 200 again from 194, was all the way up to 203, but the glycogen is working it's way back out of me now. Of course I will infuse it a bit tonight after my weight workout.
 
Heat? What HEAT? It was only 102 here yesterday, and expected to be 105 today....BRRRRR.....

Mid Nineties during the day close to 80 overnight.. then the humidex has it about 105-110.. It's the humdity that gets you here, I can handle 100 degrees dry heat better than 90 humid.

That exercise doen't bother my shoulder that much, and shoulder is not really hurting much. It's still weak but there is no sign of injury. My elbows are a bit of a mess and my knees. Cissus should be here tommorow of the day after...

Yah it's about the six inches in front of my face a real grind. I go in hammer the fug out of myself as hard as I can and get the fug out!!

I was able to hold the increase of 10 for bent over rows for all 3 sets, it was a real fight though

Wheel of death kicked the crap out of me, and did some heavy duty medicine ball work...

30 minutes cardio and I was dying... it's the fuggin heat finally getting to me I guess, have today off.

Ok time to catch up on the weekend events...

Close grip bench (declined) up 10 lbs 10 on the first set 9 on the second 7 on the third 45 seconds rest...

Curls 3X10 45 sec rest up 5 lbs

Weighed ab work then 45 minutes cardio

Yesterday 10 X 3 45 sec rest tried to go up another 10 lbs on bench did one rep did not like the way my shoulder felt so I went back to last weeks weight and finished about the same as I did last week. So looks like I hit a roadblock...

Not so on bent over rows the increase of 10 lbs was held accross the board.

45 minutes cardio.

The increases are slowing down, still have not received my cissus yet, I ordered Xpress and it left Miami at 7pm wednesday night and there is no updates since. I hate USPS and I have been ordering less from Nutraplanet cuz of USPS services and prices.

I notice a lot of misplaced aggression lately, for example I was walking down the sidewalk in Montreal near the loches when I hear some woman saying something in French, now I know she is probably telling me to move but I turn around and she runs into me all be it at a very low speed. She just as easily could have gone around me like he other cyclists did and It was not the bike path. I tell her to get off the sidewalk and when i turn around her boyfriend is coming toward us. I stared at him and he was smart enough to know that it wise not wise to start trouble with me as I'm all alpha. Now I know if he would have started something I would have crushed him. This is just a bad mental additude for me to be walking around with. I'm going to get myself in a lot of trouble if I don't check some of my alpha male behavior... I am becoming too confrontational lately. Have to nip that in the bud.
