Going to be a Freaky Summer starting with Swole/HGHPro

Well this is the last week before I got live, I have been easing back into it, I was doing 3 x10 the first week then 4 X 10 at about 80% the second week this week 5 X 8 at 90-95%. Then it's time to get my freak on. I know I will have to start moving a lot of weight this summer so I am trying to make sure I am ready to go full speed, it's kind of scary for these old bones but when I get in the gym and feel my hands upon the cold steel fear will be replaced by rage... Only way to survive what I have planned.

More than anything I am eating tons of fruit. I have eaten my fair share of junk as well (pies, ice cream). I am eating a lot of steak off the BBQ, have had sausages as well. Oh and went out for Pizza twice. I am up to 214, that will probably drop to around 208 by the end of the summer when I go to my Warrior diet.

Ok so diet starts tommorow, my amino package is in today so I will mix it with Recoverpro, L-Glatamine and Taurine. Remember this mixture gets taken with two smaller meals and during and around workouts...

Supps start tommorow also...

Glycobol
HghPro
Recoverpro like I mentioned
Motivate for the rough spots only
Cycle support, will be running this from now on as a staple during these runs... at my age the extra support is necessary I feel.

I will be quite hungry during the day at first but will adjust, eventually I will get to the point that I can get a little looser with my diet (evening meals) and still burn fat.

This is operation stay lean in the off season so I will still likely be able to add some mass stategically....

Anywho, time to get my fuggin Freak on!! 1st live workout Sunday!!
 
Digging the stack you put together DW; you have thought that one through and you should start to move some serious weight fast. Curious about taking Stoked AND Cycle Support together with all of that ResV; do you think that might be a little much? I have actually thought that CS is a great option in place of Stoked... ok, I am retarded, was thinking of POST cycle support. Disregard my brain this morning, it is not working properly.

Cycle support doesn't have any Trez in it, you're thinking post cycle support...

what are you weighing in at now? how many pounds have you added since the show?

That is a good plan to stay leaner in the off season. what body fat do you plan on staying at though the year?

I am a believer in L-glutamine , especially during periods like contest prep and super intense training where the body gets wore down. It is a big debatable subject in bodybuilding the whole L glutamine thing

Yah I weigh 214 and was 197 contest day but we know that artificially low and it was more like 204-5 so I put on about 10 lbs... I don't have a particular number in mind but will try and remain between 215 and 220 at the highest. Right now I am going to ease down to 208 recomping with the warrior diet.

Compared to your recent competition weight how much do you like to add in the off season ?

Like I said I will stay below 220 and see where that takes me. Natural guys should always stay closer to their contest weight especially when they're older. My body type being endo is another reason as I have ability to add muscle on lower calories than most.

Yeah and people also say creatine and BCAA are a piece of crap too....Im a heavy believe in Whey, Glutamine, creatine, and BCAA's.....basics people basics!!

Also i enjoy throwing in vitamin C pre/post lift or pre-bed. Great way to control the cortisol spikes induced by hypertrophy. And if im extra sore ill make a recovery concoction of all of the above and take that 1-2x during the day.


I LOVE YOUR STACK DW!!! That is probably my dream stack to date. I wanna try out excell and compare it to RecoverPro. See how the added L-taurine plays into it.

Well day 3 and I have to say I feel pretty good already...

One thing I love about month 2 of the Freak is.. it's fast and intense. The workout takes about 30 minutes but you feel really good on it.

10 X 3 sets Bench 45 seconds rest...

10 X 3 sets Bent over rows 45 seconds rest

30 minutes cardio

That's it, I felt incredible... oh and I was already down to 211 so yah I was holding some water. I think I will be down to around 208 by the end of the week. Can't believe how much I got away with during the last 3-4 weeks with bad diet...

I think I could do 30 the way I am feeling right now, I was pleased with my workout last night, I achieved what I was after and did it in fine style with good power.

Leg Press 5 X 5 1 minute rest
Calf lever 5X5 1 minute rest
Clean and Press 5X5 1 minute rest, now this had my heart racing...

Like I said I was really feeling the power so next week will be increases and the strength gain should have kicked in by then. I can see some leaning as I dry out and size is fairly impressive. I have a feeling I am on to something here.

The adjustments to the diet are made in attempt to add some size while losing a few lbs. The extra eating at night and the amino powder go a long way to help that happen. Now I am also eating a bit more fibrous vegtables and adding more protein than I would for example 2 scoops of whey instead of one AM and extra veggies and an extra egg at lunch... Refeed days will involve a carb up on Friday night and possibly a little extra eating on Saturday night as well. This has as much to do with normal lifestyle as it does with stagegy, I am attempting to satisfy both aspects...

It is the most abundant amino in the human body, it is also the first amino that the body goes after when cortisol is present. Keep it floating in the blood stream and no need for your body to rob the muscle for glutamine to create ATP. On top of that the benefits on the immune system alone are well worth it. I find it is better to mix in with BCAA's if trying to limit insulin release associated with high doses of BCAA's as well.

yah it's tough and took me a while before I could do even one, I have done as many as 12 but not all of them were good form.

Going to make a prediction .. well make a statement is more accurate.. I am going to be lifting more when I get under 210 than I was at 240 lbs last year.

Yeah that looks killer. Bench and B.O. Row are great together

Yah always liked the apposing muscle group scheme.

Doug, how are the joints, tendons, ligaments holding up?

There are some small issues but as I get stronger they are less as I seem to get more support from the muscles...

Oh and my shoulder injury is not so bad, that is why I know I will be stronger than last year. I can feel the power coming back. Last year I was badly wounded this year we're going to see the real animal in action. If I get all my strength back we're looking at 315-325 bench 405-425 lb squats and oh if I hit the deads the way I used to that will get up to 475-505... Don't know if I can get back to these numbers but I will know by this fall... Like I said I am much lighter so maybe a bit short of those numbers.

Oh and I have 4 bottles of SuperCissus coming so that should help.
 
Damn DW...some great numbers there :) I always wondered with you since you don't put numbers in often. Impressive, and good luck on getting that power back, I'm sure you will make it!
