It’s all about In-N-Out...
I truly have to remind myself sometimes that I was once at their level.Be honest how many of y'all feel this wayView attachment 177410
1/4 elbow burger for under a buck? Glad that is not close to me.Back in Michigan you cant beat the A&W drive-up if your in a hurry. But, for the best burger in town Halftime bar is the best 1/4# cooked weight, and only 89 cents each if you get it plain. Dressed its about $1.14
True. its been almost 40 years. I still get pissed when they sit on the bench for 30 min on there phone and have completed like 3 set.I truly have to remind myself sometimes that I was once at their level.
I don’t mind people doing it wrong, weird form etc - I mind people leaving weights on things and not putting back equipment, or hogging stuff. Lazy & entitled.
Elbow?1/4 elbow burger for under a buck? Glad that is not close to me.
Sorry. that is old 1980's street talk for a pound.Elbow?
Back when a dime bag used to cost a dime.Sorry. that is old 1980's street talk for a pound.

This is my biggest complaint about Church Today !!Awsome! thanks for sharing! I'm a Baptist and love all the old hymns! We hardly ever sing the old hymns anymore it's almost all contemporary.
Mustard is my go to condiment for most things. I tend to add some very hot sauce to it too.Mustard is to fattening. Lol
Yeah, I like it to specially german spicy mustard.Mustard is my go to condiment for most things. I tend to add some very hot sauce to it too.
You must have been running with the right group... Most people who know the term elbow have done some dealing or been around people who do. It is probably pretty obvious but the Elbow was code based on the abbreviation for pound which is LB.Yeah, I grew up in the 80's but dont ever remember hearing that before
Brand? I don't know that i have had German Spicy Mustard. Is it horse raddish based heat? I am not too into that specific type of heat unless the flavor is mild, the aftertaste of horse raddish gets too me.Yeah, I like it to specially german spicy mustard.
Yeah, my brothers ran with that crew and I was around there crew alot, but, they never did anything while I was around. They always go for a "drive"You must have been running with the right group... Just so you and everyone else can see HGP. Down south in South Louisiana. Cajuns use cornmeal to make their batter, not just straight up flour like KFC as you pointed to. Here is the nutritional value for the Cornmeal batter. Again, not disagreeing, just pointing out the difference.Honestly? I mean, painfully honest?
Your food choices could be better. Bread? Toxic! No idea what that "crusted stuff" around the meat is called in English -but HELL NO! You know what I mean, that KFC crust enveloping the real meat. Saw it earlier in a shrimp pic too. That is a NO-NO! Mark my words.
The nutritional value is before it’s fried, right?Just so you and everyone else can see HGP. Down south in South Louisiana. Yes, and its pan fried in sunflower oil, and the bread that we use down here is known as french bread, I'll post the nutritional information for that as well. Again, not discrediting anyone or not trying to take advise. I'm at my parents house, last day on vacation and headed to the airport shortly. When I'm hear I eat like a traditional Cajun, cause I don't get to eat some of this food in Michigan. Again, look up french bread and the studies that they have done. Not saying its great for you but, again it aint as bad as enriched white bread. The nutritional value is before it’s fried, right?
Not while I'm on Vacation. And if you look it up Shrimp have about 24g of protein per serving, and Oysters are about 8g of protein per serving. Just using those as a reference from what I posted. Are you tracking calories and macros? It doesn’t seem like a lot of protein is going in to your meals.
Ok brother I tried... Good luckAlso if y'all wanna learn more about Cajun Cuisine and Culture. Just Google "Cajun food is healthy"
No, I get where y'all are coming from. I do, and I'm not offended. But seriously go look up what I said. Again, I don't eat like this all the time, and I'm on the end of my vacation.Ok brother I tried... Good luck
Really was just trying to help you out man. Sorry if it offended you DC.
I wasn’t razz’n you, you just lost someone and you’re on vacation, so enjoy the food. No, I get where y'all are coming from. I do, and I'm not offended. But seriously go look up what I said. Again, I don't eat like this all the time, and I'm on the end of my vacation.
I know and when I get back home, the meals will be quite different. We got alot of Venison in the freezer, and alot of veggiesI wasn’t razz’n you, you just lost someone and you’re on vacation, so enjoy the food.
I was just pointing out the nutritional value was for dry, weighted corn meal, not cooked/fried.
Dude, we take vacations every year out of state (trying to get over my fear of flying so we can go out of country) and I don’t track a single calorie when we do. But, I still stay aware of my macro bank, if I have a fatty meal then I know my next needs to be reduced. If you’re not enjoying your vacation, then what’re you on vacation for?!?I know and when I get back home, the meals will be quite different. We got alot of Venison in the freezer, and alot of veggies
I understand. They where "cheat meals" technically. I was on Vacation, and if you look in the new years thread. I got smaller around the waist in my pics since being here.DemntedCowboy , just saying what has to be said, no azzholish intentions from my part, brother.
I put a "like thumb" to most of your food pics, because I thought it were cheat meals! Seriously.
Then I saw more coming...
Friends tell what must be said, you are making progress already, lets optimize it!
Healthy fats like avocado and olives/olive oil are nifty. Natural honey is healthy with proper application. Regarding nuts, peanuts are actually pro-inflammatory (not that I give a fart).List of known enemies to our cause, found in food:
-refined oils, all of them, including sunflower
-deep fried stuff
-bread, especially white bread
-most stuff with flower in it
-refined sugar
-sausages (full of everything you do not want in your body)
-ham (most cooked ham isn't even meat! Look it up)
-all commercial dressings
-all commercial stuff that comes out of bags, like mashed potatoes
-mayonnaise (use sparingly)
-ketchup (use sparingly)
-mustard (use sparingly)
-any crust, no matter what (KFC crust alike), full of refined oils and carcinogens
-sweet stuff, skittles and alike
List is longer, maybe its easier to list what's allowed:
-meat, any meat -unless deep fried
-fish and seafood (beware of shrimps and most farmed fish, full of chemicals)
-veggies, all
-fruits (well, you need fibers and vitamins, I eat 1-2 fruits a day)
-potatoes/all kinds (not fried in refined oil, dammit -and not freeze dried from a bag full with chemicals)
-rice
-pasta
-beans (very good choice)
-lentils (good)
-bacon (some)
-nuts, any nuts -but beware of calories
-seeds (like nuts)
-spices
-oats (NOT the commercial colored loopy-poopies!)
I sure missed a bunch, anyone?
I will NEVER eat any soy products. They spike estrogen levels.Healthy fats like avocado and olives/olive oil are nifty. Natural honey is healthy with proper application. Regarding nuts, peanuts are actually pro-inflammatory (not that I give a fart).
You lost me at mustard man. Mustard, ketchup, even mayo can all be made very healthy without sugar or refined oil (and would always be used in moderation, nobody is eating half a cup of mayo). Dressings the same - nothing unhealthy about olive oil with some vinegar, spices and lemon. Now a bottle of most soybean oil loaded with sugar trash you see often at the store, yeah that’s not helping anything.
Also, sausages depend on contents - big difference between some nitrate-free ground spiced meat and a patty that will last months unfrozen from McDonald’s.
Yes, yes. I'm talking commercial stuff, not homemade super-dooper dressings -or self made sausages. And, I eat all of the forbidden stuff -but on rare occasions.Healthy fats like avocado and olives/olive oil are nifty. Natural honey is healthy with proper application. You do...daily, without knowing.I will NEVER eat any soy products. They spike estrogen levels.
Not a problem. They contain plant estrogens. That doesn't equal gyno or a testosterone drop.I will NEVER eat any soy products. They spike estrogen levels.
Yep, but soy has nasty other effects. As I remember, in kids it leads to:Not a problem. They contain plant estrogens. That doesn't equal gyno or a testosterone drop.
And there was an article about a retired CSM in the Army growing boobs from eating it for years.Yep, but soy has nasty other effects. As I remember, in kids it leads to:
boys: testicles not dropping
girls: reaching puberty way before due at age 8 or younger
This info may be outdated -and/or plain wrong. Its what I recall from studies I read 10 years ago. Take it with a grain of salt (better, make this a table spoon of salt)
