Thanks Matt. I have pulled 400+ in the last year but have not tried it for some time.


Well you both make dead lifts look simple. I have yet to due them. Mainly because of the hernia in my belly button area. Trying to keep the pain to a minimum. I have way too much to accomplish before I have to have surgery to get it removed. So the longer I can wait the better.

LOL Yeah because I already know when I hit my mark believe me I will go all out before I have to have the surgery. You have seen the video of doing 810 squats on the machine I will find a way to his 1k lbs. Even if I have to get some straps and strap them on. LOL... And Leg Press the same thing. I know I could do heavy like kleen and doc. Just stinks I have the old type of sled with more resistance. I am currently working on getting my bench up to 320 possibly in this next 90 days I will video everything I do when it comes to that time. But for now I will K.I.S.S.

heaviest I did was 315. You'd beat me out lol. I'm pushing for 315 by the end of this cut tbh. I think as long as I keep my body happy I should still be able to get strength gains. I'm not going to beat myself into the ground this time. Well maybe just once per week ;)

not knocking in ya bro, but I gotta know, that 810, is that with a machine of some type or is that free weight barebell? That would be freaking unreal (ok, awesome at least) if it were free eight.

Hoping I can get my bench above 300 once the shoulder heals.

Yah I am in the same boat, I used to me a 300 plus bencher but injured my shoulder 3.5 years ago and have been wrestling with it since. This recent set of massages has increased my range, now I think I can start to restore the strength but I still have to have monthly massages and we're not talking relaxing... it's very painful...

Not it is a squat machine that has an angle platform. I will find my old post and put up the video. I have always hated doing free weight barbell squats. I can do them just dont like having the bar across my back or upper shoulders.

Yeah there is no way I would want to attempt to put that kind of weight on a barbell. You would be just asking for trouble. I know I would be. Lol.
 
Caught some of your other vids in that machine from different angles. I honestly don't think I could tolerate the way that machine makes one position their back through out the motion. Ugh. To each their own of course. Then again, I tend to be very picky about squatting. It's so bad that I have done them bare foot rather than having to squat in "gym shoes" because the heels were elevated. Gotta be flat footed. Same with deads.

:-) I used to think the same way. Once I tried the machine I never looked back.
 
i think i'd actually like that machine. Not as a replacement squat but it does look like it could be good for sports. Maybe do that in a circuit or something for conditioning. ;)

If you are doing squats and add in some other compounds, like bent over rows or Tbars you can live without them...

That's pretty much what I do. I can manage to still do the squats and rows without too much issue

I am going to try back squats tonight again, I have been front squats forever because of the shoulder problems but they are so hard on the knees, good leg development sure but fug!! I have more range of motion in my shoulder now so I am hopefull..

hehe. Those weights have a time and place in sports. But probably not all bodybuilders need to be doing this lol.
 
Ok, stayed at home with the wee man today. Not much activity other than a couple of hours cleaning up leaves (mostly on the riding mower. Bagger FTW) Totals are a bit high for an off day given that I had a small piece of pumpkin pie (included in totals)for his Birthday.

2494 cals (137 carbs, 212 protein, 125 fats) with an estimated burn of 3657 for an estimated deficit of 1163.

Tomorrow is my late day, so assuming the little guy is better enough to go either to school or the sitters, I will be doing an arms/cardio workout before going in.

Need to find something thay helps the blood flow so I can get leaner and get my vains popping. Maybe then I will have more motivation. I feel like I am in a rut. Cant really explain it. Last couple of days I have been in a pissy mood. Very irritable.

For veins... Nothing but ph and getting lean helped me.

Creatine I use for strength. Helps me push a bit more weight.
 
I wish I could say I needed a short break from training. If anything I need more. It is no secret I am extremely harsh on myself. I like to joke and have a good time but when I set my sights on a goal or what ever I don't like to lose. In this case the skin chub is my opponent and it is winning. I guess I need to pull out another come from behind victory. Take no prisoners.

Hell in all honesty I have been thinking of going to the dark side to help me reach my goal by xmas time. Putting on mass and losing this skin chub. However I know if I went that route I would let almost all of you down that have followed along my fat loss journey.

I know I dont need to tell you this, but you cant be the person you want to overnight! You say you are in a rut, but this is the same guy that just weighed in 8 lbs lighter the other day, correct? Keep your eyes on the prize, Jeff and it will be yours with your drive and motivation....I promise you ;)

Yea man dieting SUX. makes you really moody etc. But I must say you have made it a LONG way man. Keep going!! I know you'll be glad you did.
 
Followed through on the plan for the am workout. 35 minutes on bi's/tri's and 10x60/60 HIIT cycles for 117 cals. Will post arm work out details and dietary info tonight when I get home. Did irritate the shoulder a bit but not too bad, still feeling better overall. Hope this damn rehab plan works!

Dude... Jeff, listen to Rick here Bro, he's telling you as straight as it comes, it does not happen over night! If you compare apples to apples, look at how fast I did it, then use the same comparisons on yourself and you will realize you are doing it at the same rate Bro! Just stay the course Brother, consistency, consistency, consistency! Also, look at all the reasons you are doing this, for your health too Bro, this is something my Dad used to tell me all the time that makes more sense now that I am older and more mature (just a little more mature, LoL) "What will it matter if you are the best looking guy in the Morgue!" Just some fuel for thought Brotha!

Maybe you need to add something to your post Transaderm PCT? I know that I often feel a bit pissy when I come off of a PH until the "boyz" get up and running again.

Also, bear in mind that platues often take care of themselves as long as we keep on track. Keep plugging and you'll get that breakthrough. Also, I have been allowing myself a cheat every 10-14 days, so it is not like it's a big deal. I have found that at times, some of my best fat loss weeks come after a good cheat. I may pack on some water weight from the carb up, but usually end up below where I was pre-cheat 3-4 days later.

Not sure what else I should take if anything for post Transaderm. I am already taking Pure Test, PCT Rev. Black, EndoSurge for my pct. And of Course I am taking 2 each N2 Burn in the morning and afternoon. Of course I am also taking other things as well. Such as EFA Lean Gold with CLA, Super Cissus RX, ISS Research Vitamins. Those are the supplements with the exception of my Whey Protein.

As far as calories on workout days I am dropped from 2500 to 2300 and on non workout days I went from 1700 to 1500.
