Big Boys throw down to lean out (Sponsored by Need to Build Muscle's N2 Burn.

There is just something about going backwards that scares the Fugg outta some people, to me they are wayyy easier than front flips, but I can do doubles on a trampoline, I had one my entire childhood!

Trampolines are for Wussies...

Real men just need a mat or a grassy field!

LoL, great job Jeff, I'm just busting your chops Bro, but your buddies were funny! I bet Chris could do it on a mat the way I did it.

10/25/11 Day 2, wk 2, MC 6
5:05 to 6:10

Started with an 8 min warm up, still be careful with that right hammy. It felt a bit tight dead lifting tonight but not painful.

Dead Lift 285x3, 330x3, 370X4

Wd Grip PD @ 170
10/10/9/8

V Bar Cable Row @200
12/12/12

Back Extensions (BWO)
25/25/20

Ball Crunchs 2x40 reps

Took my final 2 N2Burn at around 2, hit my PWO at 4:00 (2 Scoops of Superpump max {hey,it was a freebie and I ran out of Wyked!} I was geeked OUT! A bit overstimmed here but no nausea, just wired.

Dietary for today - 2623 cals (167 carbs, 236 protein [plus 28g BCAA], 117 fats) with an estimated burn of 4114 for a deficit of 1491. A bit high on the carbs but it was all clean (worst thing was the footlong roast chicken breast from subway - IT WAS DEAD LIFT DAY!!!!!!!< GTFO ME :) all other carbs came from Peanuts, apples, mixed iceberg lettuce salad so rather clean overall.)

Anyways, the day has been good and is now in the books.

Fugging sweet WO. Way to push yourself. 370X4 is now a goal that I want to hit before the end of this cycle. I have definitely got some work to do.

Keep it up!!!

Finished it all up with 30 minutes of cardio

As of tonight I also started my PCT and soon as my N2 Burn gets here, I will let you all know and start that.

What's your PCT and is it for TRANS ?

I have not done any cardio this week. Tomorrow is my day 7, but it is a leg day and I have not worked legs since highschool (HONEST). I know I am going to be in a lot of pain and will definitely not be able to put up your or Tam's kind of numbers. Your rocking your WO's...Keep pushing yourself!!!!

No I ran epi-v for 6 weeks then jumped on transaderm. I was pretty shut down. Not as bad as some but not good either. I will be running my pct for that. So it will be interesting to see how it all works out. I hear most people gain a few lbs on a pct. And considering I am cutting and soon to be taking n2 burn in the next few days. It should be fun. I will have to do a ton of cardio which is not my favorite thing to do. I would rather workout. But if I wanna get lean it has to be done.

Oh and for my pct I will be running pure test, pct rev. Black and endosurge

First...sweet back tuck Doc. Second...I love the term "skin chub" you should definitely use that more often Jeff. Ish makes me laugh every time.

Lmao I think I might have to. I can picture you taking g8 and teaching the kids their lesson and all of a sudden skin chub comes out your mouth. Lmao

If I had a sick and twisted mind, I would totally say something about that comment and make it into something perverse and sexual. Good thing I'm not sick and twisted. :tapedshut:

One thing I learned EPI-V is for peaking...

Ok this is a strange question. How many of you men have tried that zumba workout? Obviously there are a ton of women doing it. But dang it kinda looks like fun and married or not there are some hotties that do it. I know you dont go to the gym to stare at eye candy but hot damn this thing has taken off like crazy.

Real men don't do zumba... well maybe for the booties lol I don't even know what it is ... I've heard of it .. just sounds kind of metro...

Lol It is some dance type workout I think. So it has to be some good cardio. Plus the bonus of eye candy. As long as you do grow a skin chub. Lol

Ok, went to see the Doc about the shoulder and sleep issue. Gonna try some Trazadone for the sleep (still not sleeping a straight 6-8 despite Melatonin, 3z and Flomax although it has improved some.) As to the shoulder, (I may be off a bit on my terminology here) there is some impingement of the "AC" and arthritis in the RC. Gave me a cortizone shot (through the back of the shoulder Thank you!) and said if it does only imporves for a day or two (due to the lidocaine mixed in) and then flairs up again, we will have to scan for a possible RC tear. No bench work tomorrow. Think I will just swap my bench and squat days this week although I do not like the idea of a squat day so close to a deadlift day.

Diet has been pretty on today. Rolling easily with 2 tabs of N2 Burn. Will post final cals and macro's later this evening.

Alright kids. I received my N2 Burn in the mail today. I can't read the bottle because the label is all blurry. Bad print job hope the label does not indicate what the fat burner will or will not do. LOL... Just kidding. But seriously I can't wait to start this tomorrow. I was not able to train tonight since I worked from 6:30 this morning until 7 pm tonight. geeesh that sucked. So tomorrow I will train and then again on Friday. Oh let the fun begin.

Kept the diet tight today: 2391 cals (86 carbs, 232 protien [plus 12g bcaa], 134 fats) with an estimated burn of 3474 for a deficit of 1083.

Taman... hey bro, we are the same height and about the same weight as far as when I started to diet down for Halloween about 100 days ago, any idea what your body fat % is right now?

Sorry to hear about your shoulder, but way to keep consistent with the diet and staying in the "Burn-Zone" hope your shoulder heals fast and really responds to the anti-inflammatory!

Not really sure SD, my impedence scale puts me at around 22.85 when hydrated at 53% (damn thing fluctuates wildly depending on hydration level.) I feel pretty ok with guessing between 22-27. Feel free to look over the pics I posted earlier and give me your best guess.

Damn... this Thread moved so fast I missed those picts the first go-around, sorry bout that! Well, honestly, it is really hard to tell, I can tell you have a lot of lose skin from losing a lot of weight already, very similar to Chevy, which, when over 20% makes it very hard to tell or guestimate body fat with any kind of accuracy. But, on the other hand, it does make it much easier for viewers to notice fat loss and that fat loss has the potential to happen at a much faster rate than someone at a lower body fat. What I will tell you to look for to distinguish the difference of losing fat and possibly gaining some muscle in the process is how your clothes are fitting or doing regular body part measurements, I used to have more time on my hands and was way more adement about weekly measurements of my weight, body fat, and tape measuring all my different areas, neck, shoulders, chest abdomen, waist, arm (R), forearm (R), leg (R), & calf (R) or whatever your dominant side is.

Oh & as far as those impedance BF measurements, I take those with a grain of salt, I used one of those 2 weeks ago and it said I was at 14% BF, then I used one today for the hell of it, because there is always one laying around near the trainer station at LA FITNESS and today I measured at 16% BF. So considering I see a remarkable amount of change in the direction of being leaner now than I was 2 weeks ago, I don't see how anyone can hold a grain of salt to what those things say. Another little side note, while working the Nutrition Store yesterday, I had a woman come in, she wasn't big by any means, but she claimed to enter some kind of contest/challenge held by the trainers to see who could lose the most amount of body fat in 3 mos, well she said she had won, that she lost 18% body fat and only lost 5Lbs on the scale. I told her that was mathematically impossible and she sat there and argued with me telling me that is what they told her. She started to get mad, so I had to calmly tell her that I believed her that, that is what they told her, but told her it was one of three things, either she misheard them and she lost 18Lbs and dropped 5% BF, or that is what happened and they told her wrong, or they flat out lied to her or possibly they just had absolutely no idea what they were talking about, which if you are a trainer and you talk out of your A$$ like that, I consider that the same thing as lying!

Yeah, I don't put a lot of stock in the impedence thing either, hence why I noted the fluctuations.

Scottydoc you are no where near 14-16% try single digits. I know for a fact I am high in the 20s heck when I measured a few weeks ago I was at 30%. So I would guess between 25-30% is where my fat a$$ is right now. But not for long. :-)

Ya know, I really appreciate that, but I really wish I knew for sure what I really am and what I really was when I was "Silver Surfer" because all I have is the calipers to determine that and according to the trainer/pro bodybuilder/my diet guru I was 4.6% BF when I did the Silver Surfer costume and same guy measured me at 5.3% BF last year when I did Venom. Anyway, where I am going with this is... I was talking to a friend of mine and he is of the opinion that we are all way off, that the leanest a bodybuilder can get as in stage ready is somewhere between 3.5-5.0% BF and that when I was Silver Surfer I was probably somewhere between 5.5 & 6.0%. I mean who really knows unless you use a Dexa-Scan, I so wish I had access to one of those, because they are extremely accurate and precise.

I guess I really don't care what I am I, because although the calipers may not be the most precise instrument out there for checking body fat, I do think if performed by the same skilled person taking the measurements in the exact same places, via body landmarks etc, then it can be extremely accurate in determining fat loss. Not to mention, as KLEEN as so eloquently pointed out to me, how you look in the mirror and how you feel is what is most important, not what some stupid measurement says, that is just like what women do when they get a set # in their head of Lbs they have to weigh or they are fat, even if they look absolutely fantastic in the mirror, so just a bad habit I must break and just get over it!

Ok so I took 2 N2 Burn this morning on an empty stomach. And drank a 20 oz bottle of water. Taste was ok. I was surprised to see these were not capsules. Not that it really matters much. I will take two in the morning for the first couple of days to see how well it works. I may bump it next week to two in the morning and two around lunch time. Just depends on how long the energy will last on the morning dose.
