UPS Golf Carts to Deliver Packages

This holiday season, The Landings Association again will partner with United Parcel Service (UPS) in an effort to improve the efficiency of package delivery. From Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve, UPS will utilize three golf carts, with trailers, to increase the amount of packages that can be delivered by their seasonal helpers. This will reduce the number of large delivery trucks in the community and the number of late-evening deliveries.

The seasonal helpers must possess a valid driver’s license and sign a statement agreeing to comply with the Rules and Regulations regarding safe operation of golf carts in the community. They will be operating only Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

That's high class. We used to send the helpers out with shopping carts. They looked like homeless people going door to door with gifts. :D

living in so. ca sure has some draw backs, but I wait ... ... .. quietly , maybe I will read a book ? maybe I will make a steak ? maybe I will peek out my window again ? we will see. :)

I let him know it was going to a PO box, I'll double check with him to make sure it's been sent out.

yes it does, i am sorry you haven't gotten yours either-but it does make me feel better not to be the only one.




btw-jd, any chance of getting a tracking number so i won't be faunching every time i hear a truck go by. be nice to know when it is coming.

NO WAY!! !! you cannot have the tracking # !! that ruins the peeking out the window that you have been enjoying so much. :)
