Anyone here on facebook?

Anabolicminds is on FB. I am on FB, and I think like 4 people from here have me on FB. Though I have spoken to them outside of AM via phone or in person before that.

I'm on FB, but strive to keep it to a minimum of close friends. Even then I've taken family members off because they got too crazy with the Farmville crap and it was spamming my wall.

Agreed. The fan pages have gotten out of hand. So have some of the apps. Still far better than myspace ever was, though.

What was that one that came before myspace...The original one...cant remember its name. but then came myspace, then came facebook to kill that. Next is...well we know its not twitter LOL.

There was Friendster...it came about a year before MySpace. Is that what you're thinking of? I never joined that one.

I didn't know AM had a page on there, but I added them.

I agree with keeping the FB relationship amongst people you actually know. Most of my friends consist of family and actual friends, but others are either people I work with or used to work with, people I've met at the bars or parties, ex girlfriends, etc. LOL Occasionally, I'll get a friend request from a friend of a friend who lives around here and somehow knows of me, and I'll accept it. I don't mind people wanting to get to know me. I like meeting new people.
 
Muscle Pharm has a page. I think its funny when people just add a ton of random people to their facebook though, kind of like padding the stats...

Xanga...wow, I remember when that came out. That was when blogging was starting to take off. I was never a fan of blogging...
 
i'm on facebook but i only use it to get info i need... such as speed camera locations in my city etc.

Facebook is an awesome tool and a great contribution to technology and it's original intent was simply professional. But (due to commercialism) it now caters to every god damn useless human being on the planet. People live on that F**kn thing.

Yes, I believe that it was. That's why I joined it instead. Now... I really don't care much about it.


I have AM as one of my 'friends', though. I think AM sought me out for the request. :D

I also have the AXhole Nation on FB. It was up before most of the other supp companies jumped on it, threw a bunch of time and money into it, and became big. We R small, but mighty. ;) :lol:

In an odd spin of irony, I was going to put up a page on FB for where I work. The boss approached me about it months ago and I kinda pushed it off until we were on the highspeed network. (Let me say that 6 1/2 years working with web design and education on a dial-up network sucked!!! That's gov't for ya...) Anywho, we FINALLY got on the system, speeds are literally 100 times faster to upload, and FB IS BLOCKED, ALONG WITH GMAIL, YAHOO MAIL, EBAY, YOUTUBE, TWITTER, AND MYSPACE!!!!! Argh.... If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have gone to school that year. -Lewis Black

word. Girl was reason i made one and reason i deleted. That and it also pisses me off when i would check it and would see like 5 friends updates saying "going to the gym ladies" or "Had a good lift today" and so on and so forth, then you take a look at their pic and are either scrawny as **** or fat as hell... I dont think i updated my status once while i had mine...
