2 DAYS ON RECREATE/PWFULL/AP-feeling like an alpha FE-MALE !!!

Alright Dfly, from now on, I'm going to start negging you for every Dragon-esque picture you post that you've already used. Better start searching for some new art...

:p

i need to start doing clean and press again.

They are good :) My tris always get sore after them cause I use a fairly narrow grip.

:p

Ahhh, got ya Irish, so you do pay attention to my posts after all ! :p

10 sets of pullups!?!? damn woman...

How many reps macro through the 10 sets?

3 X 10
2 X 8
4 x 6
1 x 4

= 74

:D
Voluminous! :run:

I know, that has been my gym attitude for the past two days :run: still recovering ! Been feeling as exhausted as a corpse  ....speaking of which, I saw one today, for real ! Had to borrow a lamp for a dissecting microscope. I asked a collegue of mine where could I find such a lamp and so she led me straight to the human anatomy lab.

Half way through it (the place is HUUUUGE ) she asked me : Oh, I forgot to ask, are you ok with this ?
Me :  OK with what ?
Me : $hit, I see a human corpse :wtf1: is it doing in here....errr ......Invalid Link Removed

Having taken 2 full years of anatomy, sometimes I don't even think about how human corpses in the museum can make others feel queasy. I guess it *is* different from mice ;) Dealing with real human patients over the next 3 years will definitely be a step up !

I went to the Creighton Dental School for a visit once and got to go to their anatomy lab and I saw a couple. They were split in half. It was sweet. Too bad it's not the old days. You can't just pick up vagabonds and run experiments on them anymore. :dunno:

Lucky you :) After 3 days of dissections ...40 mice .... I'm soooooo sick of them ! Invalid Link Removed

Well yeah, but I also have (albeit slightly) bigger arms / back.

Pulling yourself up 74 times is something to be proud of for sure.

I guess it ain't bad , thanks TL :)

Says who? :salook:

I probably should retract that, I'll end up on the FBI hit list or something.. :reporter:

WEEK 5

* AFTER 3 DAYS OF REST, A DAY OF MASS DESTRUCTION:

You've seen this layout before ;) I like it a LOT :D

SUPERSET 1

1. Chin-Ups
2. Bench Press

SUPERSET 2

1. Dips
2. Deadlifts

* GREAT WORKOUT, went for slightly lesser volume but more weight....

* ANGER WAS HIGH...and it wasn’t just supplement-related, I am way too tired to get into details but work has been hell for the past couple of weeks. On the top of everything, today a very unprofessional conduct by superiors upset quite a few people myself included. I will resign as soon as practically possible.

Good god... Improvements.

You look completely morphed from 6 months ago. Yoked!

I bet those arms could pull my fat ass up 74 times.

Your abs have always been good, but damn, they are cut & lean and in good feminine way. Nice work!!! Very good looking.

and damn, impressive effort with all those pull ups. I might try 10 sets sometime soon, but not for 70+ reps. I think 10 sets for 10 reps total sounds good.

WEEK 5

LEGS

* No coffee accidents today .... I was rather intrinsically stimmed up
That is what happens when you cut back from 5-6 workouts a week (what I used to do in the Prime era) - to 3 !!!!

* Less is better ;)

* BB lunges up by 17lb, sumo squats by 11lb :biglaugh:

* I kept stacking more weight set after set and thinking, these workouts are just too much fun to be workouts :fool2: What is happening to me ?!!!! This was supposed to be the hardest workout of the week and yet everything seemed sooo light !!!!!

* I usually do 3 warmup sets on the bench and then 3 working sets. Well on the 2nd warmup I accidentally stacked 10lb more than usual (88 instead of 77), I pressed 10 reps as if it were a joke :dunno: In the middle of the set I REALIZED what weight I actually had on and I went:  .... ... :biglaugh: but of course ! PRIME !!!!!!!!!!!! Boy I missed it !!!!!!!!!!

* Ever since the start of this log the bench has been somewhat stale, I have been hovering at sub 90lb and finally passed that mark last week by 6lb and so crawled to 94lb. I was sure I’d be in for another long period of staleness Invalid Link Removed

* Out of all the bench is my WEAKEST LINK. TWO HOURS AFTER THE WORKOUT I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE I PRESSED 11LB MORE !!!!!

* PRIME JUST MAKES YOU DO THE IMPOSSIBLE ! Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed I HAVE NEVER PRESSED 105lb ON MY OWN !!!! Invalid Link Removed

* Chinups, Deads & Dips – as the table says :)
I was happy with that, my back received a lot of bashing last week so I decided to play it safe with Deads (it was hard tho !!! :o) With Dips I was hoping for an increase in weight (BW + 17lb 3x6 current max), but the heavy bench really killed the tris so it wasn’t a surprise, think I’ll have to change the workout a bit, I’m sure I could dip more than that.

**********************************************************************

* Side note, as I was doing the Dead + Dip superset this dude came up and said: Hey you look like you are pushing yourself too hard !

Me: :wtf1:  ..... (Invalid Link Removed DO YOU EVEN REALIZE WHOM ARE YOU TALKIN’ TO ?!!!! Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed ).....temper control ... Invalid Link Removed That is the idea !!! Push hard, rest hard & GROW

He: You could injure yourself, you are putting a lot of stress on your back with all that weight Invalid Link Removed maybe you should get a spotter, I’m here every day, I’m also the only guy who does big lifts here.......I’ve injured myself before pulling a lot of weight...

Me: (Invalid Link RemovedMaybe you need a spotter :stups:) I appreciate your concern but I think I know my body well enough to tell what it can and what it cannot handle !

I wish I was there for that convo... "I'm also the guy that does big lifts here" SERIOUSLY?!?!?

You should have said "CHALLENGE" then stacked 405 on the DL bar and started calling him a wimp.

I'd still like to try Prime, but there's no way I'm forking over $90-100 for six weeks worth. I could, but I think it would be kind of stupid of me.

I just found out my insurance doesn't have any chiro benefits and I'll be spending $105 tomorrow on my first visit, so there goes my Prime cycle.

Wow, that's expensive. The average price of single Chiro visits/with manipulations, is $45-55.00.

Oh well, healing your back is well worth it, WWJD.

You're tugging at my PRIME heart-strings.... ohhh the temptation!!

Invalid Link Removed ..... DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT !

BTW Congrats on the engagement Sam :)

Yeah, you look like a completely different woman. You've done a STUNNING job, DF

Thanks Rosie, a praise from the Lady Terminator is most HIGHLY appreciated :)

********************************************************

....Now, I must have done something right, EVERYTHING was sore for 2 days from my last workout, TRIS, CHEST, BIS and HAMS....specially HAMS

...so according to that :tool: who said I was stressing my lower back too much on the deads , well I was doing stiff deads and NO, you were WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG, I was stressing my HAMS and I've got DOMS now to prove it !!!! :nana:

* I really struggled hard to keep myself away from the gym, yesterday but there was simply no point working out, it was 2nd day of DOMS and I was in SWEEET PAIN :D

* Mentally I was ready to hit weights again but my body was still recovering from that MASS DESTRUCTION workout ^^

* So, I settled for a run :D

...I dosed Prime with AE&AX 30min prior....

* Everyone has their favorite supp...mine is without doubt:

Invalid Link RemovedPRIME

* However, the synergy of the whole stack is PHENOMENAL Invalid Link Removed

* Seriously, NEVER HAVE I EVER SPRINTED AS FAST AS I DID YESTERDAY :jaw:

* I didn't think it was physio-dynamically possible for Dragons to go that fast !

* Oh, and BTW, there is no week 5 workout 'cause I skipped it, work got in the way...looks like the extra rest was all good :)

* I lost count on the pull-ups :p

* To make it a bit more fun this time around I resisted on the negatives

* DB press I used only to warm up the shoulders 25lb DB 4x8 reps, these felt light, note (I go way lower than parallel because it is only then when the shoulders really get a workout, anything else is CHEATING :nono:)

* C&Ps were a higher jump than normal, I want to get them to my BW and then I’ll be really happy !

* BB Rows really blew my mind, I did not expect a 12lb increase
00020120.gif
, then again...

.... I should know better Invalid Link Removed it is PRIME-TIME: what was max weight in a previous workout, becomes warmup weight in the one that follows ! :biglaugh:

* Euphoric feeling whole day LOOOOOOOOOOONG !!!
000202C2.gif

* CNS recovery with Prime is just unreal !!!! Invalid Link Removed

* This back & sh workout is the only one I do in the morning, and usually it makes me totally wasted for the rest of the day.

Nice running time DF!

HAHA ! I couldn't find a gif that was "fast enough" so I had to multiply them :fool2:

SIDE NOTE: I wouldn't want to have any more of me

Ignore me....Euphoria is just getting a bit hard to handle :o

That's understandable :wave2:

As far as efficacy is concerned, PRIME has also been one of, if not my number one favorite supp. I recall my strength jumping in an irrational fashion (too much and too quickly), it was great, but along with my strangely positive response, I also had that strange lethargy. The lethargy is literally, the only thing holding me back. However, reading your PRIME re-run pushes me toward using.

Perfect choice of words Sam ;)

It is really unfortunate you've experienced lethargy with Prime. I have quite the opposite problem. I just want to lift all the time, physical energy seems to be off charts and with the current routine of lifting only 3 x week, holding myself back is HARD. It drives me MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD !!!!! WEEK 6

LEGS

* Workout was awesome. Had to cut the volume down tho because I went hypo. This was unusually, a morning leg workout. So I only had a cup of coffee before hand. Yet again, I underestimated the carb/creatine amount in my WO drink :pat: .... and that had deleterious consequences ... Invalid Link Removed, took me about an hour to recover. An hour of carb loading !

* I almost wished that annoying dude was around to tell me how I worked myself too hard. I would have cooked him for breakfast
