There was nothing sudden about it. This all happened quite some time ago.
You're dead wrong with your assumption there, and its becoming a bit disrespectful.
- First, I asked politely that the subject be dropped as it has nothing to do with Pepti-Plex.
- Second, I explained that for legal reasons, sometimes its not okay for companies to comment on certain things, and also that some branded ingredient companies are very respectful about not wanting their ingredients compared directly to others. It's a common and courteous business practice.
- Third, you're basically accusing me and thousands of other people that love VASO6 of lying about it.
- Then, you went on to say something misleading about S7, a clinically researched ingredient owned by a large branded ingredient company that has spent millions of dollars funding clinical studies on a variety of ingredients.
I'm sorry man, but this is not like you at all.
VASO6 is a great ingredient. It's one of my favorite ingredients and we use it in a lot of our products; but things happen. It's not the first great ingredient to go away and it won't be the last. As a company, we evolve, we find new ingredients, and we move on.
You don’t think that sometimes partners have falling outs and walk away from profitable ventures because they can’t deal with one another?
^^^ I've done that myself. I do formulation and raw material sourcing for quite a few brands, and I've turned down several companies and stopped working for several more because I don't like the way they do things. In one case, I turned down doing work for a pretty large company that offered to pay me very well bc the owner is just a despicable person. Sometimes, money just isn't worth it.
There's no conspiracy and nothing complicated about it - it's all very simple:
- Compound Solutions did not own VASO6; they distributed it. The distribution agreement came to an end.
- Just like Compound Solutions does not own PEAK02, they distribute it.
- Distribution agreements come to an end all the time in various industries. It's common business practice.
- I could give you dozens of examples of branded ingredients changing from one distribution company to another in this industry; it happens every single year. As a consumer, you may not know about it, but it happens all the time.
- Another example - goBHB was distributed by Compound Solutions at one time. They no longer distribute it. Does that mean it didn't work? Absolutely not. It meant that their distribution agreement came to an end.
- The only difference is that in the case of VASO6, the partners that owned the patent had issues amongst themselves and went their separate ways; and whatever those issues were, it’s none of anyone's business besides theirs. I wish them all the best and thank them for the years that they provided the market with this great ingredient.
Business wise, I'm thankful we were able to purchase a good supply of VASO6 and will be able to use it in products until we run out of it; and I already have decided what ingredients will be used in its place in each respective product.
If you want to discuss further, you're welcome to pm me.
I've asked very nicely for the subject of VASO6 to not be mentioned again in this thread. I'm sad that it will eventually go away, but that has nothing to do with Pepti-Plex and nothing to do with VasoFlo, which is a great ingredient and perfectly suited for this products.
VasoFlo is an exciting new ingredient, and I'm glad to discuss it, or any other aspect of Pepti-Plex and I look forward to hopefully getting this thread back in a positive direction.
