They don’t hold enough plates is my only gripe for hex bars. Not if using the high handles to kinda simulate a car deadlift anyway. But they are a fantastic tool. Great way to build lower body strength and quads without squatting or deadlifting with a straight bar.

We had a couple actually that had extra long ends, but the owners moved away and took them. One was 90lbs empty!

For me too, looks like it could hold 90lbs each side (2 plates). I would go slow with that -or bottom partials. Its perfect!

There’s always a way to work: adding reps or cutting rest. But say you wanted to max out on the high handles - that’s where it was a bugger.

Trap bar is so great because it’s just so nice on the body for how much it builds.

For a beast like you, the bar itself has to weight 100 lbs. ;)
What I don't like about it is, when you stay inside and rest your penis on the frame, the metal is too cold, should be rubber coated. :)

Yesterday I spent 3 hours cleaning out the attic at work, so 3 hours carrying heavy crap down stairs, than 2 hours mowing, I'm beat !!
 
Week 5 update;

True Shred is doing it's job, Down 2 lbs more pounds for a total of 11 lbs. Vascularity is increasing and my belt is a little looser. These Holiday week ends are tuff on the diet!!
 
I had a great delt workout today 10 sets for Front & Side Delts, 8 Sets for Rear Delt, I had a great pump in the rear delt which I don't usually get, I felt strong and powerful. The vasclularity was showing also. Just a good day at the gym !!
 
Weekly Update

Down another 2 lbs this week, weighing in at 180 lbs only 5 lbs away from my goal. When I get really lean I have a vein that runs done the middle of my abs, I can not see it yet so I know I got a ways to go.

I believe it was @Hyde that suggested I try floor presses to feel it more in the chest than in the shoulders, well you were correct, great chest workout yesterday.
 
I broke out the Vintage Arm Blaster today, I bought this about 35 years ago for 20 or 25 dollars, that was a lot of money back than !!

Ok the floor presses help with taking the shoulders out of my bench press, so now I will give this a try.

They had an arm blaster at the old bodybuilding gym outside St. Louis and I was always like “What’s the point of that, can’t you do curls without it??”

There were so many machines and angles to hit stuff from and I had no appreciation for any of it. The reverse hyper was usually where I put my water jug lol
 
Also, you’re going to like that reactive slingshot. I gave mine to a buddy with bad shoulders and he rarely benches without it!
