I have trained in the AM Fasted for 20+ years, tomorrow I am going to try eating a few Carbs (banana) and a Protein Shake with about 25 grams of Protein before my workout. I also have some Cream of Rice I will try. I hoping I can get a little better pump and maybe some increase in size (not my waist). I got some tips from MrKleen73 and TheSolution that should help me with this.

I think I will invite a few friends to this party.

We will see. I have been out of town and the gym for a week, I'm up 13lbs, I need to turn that into muscle!!

They both gave me the same advice back in October, I was training fasted and to much cardio. You will definitely see the difference with the pre shake and carbs.

Tough to change. I know I can't workout first thing in the morning. I fizzle out in about 30 min. Plus I'm too lazy to get up that early enough to feed. It takes me a good 2 hours to digest enough or I taste it during my workout.

2 Table Spoons (dry) Cream of Rice (80 calories) mixed with 23 grams of Protein (powder) and a pinch of Table Salt, Muscle felt good and full but no skin stretching pumps. Will switch out the Cream of Rice for a Banana tomorrow.

25 Grams of Protein and a Banana this morning, Muscle felt very full and a slight pump. But boy did I look good !!

Today I finally got that skin stretching pump, unfortunately it was in the form of Cramps in My Abs, had to go hang from the pull up bar for a while. Very Painful !!

2 Table Spoons (dry) Cream of Rice (80 calories) mixed with 23 grams of Protein (powder) and a pinch of Table Salt, Muscle felt good and full but no skin stretching pumps. Will switch out the Cream of Rice for a Banana tomorrow.

So 20 grams, probably a little lite there on the carbs for a big pump, but I bet vascularity was up for sure.

Try the 20g of cooked rice with a ripe banana cut up or mashed into it... Typically you might not want sugar but in a get it into the system fast situation you do. Another nice way to get it in and get it easily is to just chomp down 2 tablespoons of Brown Rice Syrup, has like 36g carbs, 22 sugars and 14g complex carbs.

Yes I was doing abs, I used to get these very bad cramp regularly, but this is the fist time lately !!

eat some fiber...if I don't stay 'regular' I get those cramps and they aren't much fun.

Ab Cramps! never had them. Man I wouldn't know what to think If i got ab cramps!
