7) men who hiss like a cat when lifting, grunt like a man

8) thirsty A-holes who follow girl put of Zumba, come on now stare from afar like the rest if us

Lets see here...

1. High School kids blowing up on prohormones for 4-8 weeks walking around like they are hot **** before quickly dissipating back into their normal pathetic selves. "Gettin big man must be puberty cause your titties are coming in"

2. The evil glares from trainers while I deadlift some light weight baby. In particular one trainer we call troll face.

3. The Indian guy in a Polo who Stares at me and I can't tell if he is trying to learn how to workout or if he wants in this tight booty hole.
 
1) Doing anything but squats or rack pulls in the squat rack.

2) Leaning back so far that I fear for your spine while curling

3) Having generally ****ty form on EVERY EXERCISE

Why do Indian guys always seem to wear polos to the gym? This happened at PSU all the time as well.
 
Photo evidence of one of my biggest pet peeve I swear this person must keep chalk in his pocket. Better chalk up for 185 then don't rack ur weight.

anyone workout in a place with a small locker room?

the old guy who takes a year to get dressed right in front of the locker with your stuff, even though he sees you waiting to just grab your stuff and leave......doesn't move
 
I often walk in on old guys alseep/dead in the corner of my locker room. I just leave them.

I still don't think there's such a thing as 'roid rage. Lol.

Depends on your baseline temper I suppose. I once chased a car down and tried to rip two people out of it while on HD50. Then took off when they tried to take pic of my plates. I was then overwhelmed with a sense of shame and regret.

Yeah my mood swings were drastic lol.
 
I chalk up to use the water fountain.
But my gym's coated in a thin layer of hand lotion for some reason.
 
This grinds my gears people weighing a buck 20 maybe less and acting Like there fakking Arnold walking around the gym shirtless I just look at them like my dumbbells weigh more that you

2) People who pull EZ bar and Straight bars right by the dumbbels for doing supersets
3) People who place their shaker cup or bag by a machine and do not even come by it for 15-20 minutes.

Rant Idk anymore:

-women who be mirin right beside the man, don't you get me throw into drama cause ya mans built like a high schooler

- when ppl actually post up a water bottle in the large cubby space when I got a duffle (yep lil bottle gets tossed in recyclables lol)

- fitness center music selected for everyone, lets face it this never works out
 
1) People who do not open the doors to lift on time, been waiting outside for 20 minuts now and its 7 outside
2) People who do not rack plates
3) People who instantly slam a shake right after a workout.

This. Happens to me EVERY time I try to workout before work... you know, when I don't have time to mess around and wait. It says open at 5:30, not 5:45 or whenever you feel like getting here. The worst is the guy live less then 1 mile from the gym too.
 
1- The kids lifting their shirts in front if the mirrors to see if their abs somehow improved definition within their workout time
2- The guy who midway through his workout stops, stays sitting on machine so I can't use it, and pulls out a bowl of food (looked like rice) which he then eats on the bench before continuing.
3- Personal trainers trying to pick up clients by interrupting them during workouts and saying their program is poorly chosen and they could help.

2. People who use the bench just to place their phone/water/DB's on when they are in between sets, and not actually using them for the exercise
3. People who roll their shoulders when doing shrugs ... WTF .... What other muscle do you "roll" during the lift? Why would the traps be different?
 
1. People who think their abs are the most important muscle on their body, and everyone should know.
2. People who kick and flop their legs like a child throwing a tantrum when bench pressing.
3. Guys who high five after 1/3 or 1/2 reps on bench press, and it's only 205 lbs.
 
1. The guy who takes the only squat rack at the gym and the only place to deadlift and supersets them for over an hour....
2. Same guy does insane weight on everything and barely does a 1/3d of a full rep
3. Everyone decent sized and their mom talking about how they are about to start doing MMA

Top 3 pet peeves (in no particular order):

- people yammering away or texting on phones instead of working out (only sometime exception being if you're doing LISS on a cardio machine...and even then, it still kind of bugs me lol)
- people taking pictures of themselves (especially if trying to be sneaky) in the gym mirrors -- just go do it in the locker room
- people working in on my machine when I'm clearly there and gone for less than 30 seconds to get a drink (seriously had a guy come in, switch the plates on the stack and start doing tri pushdowns when I had my notebook there, my shaker, and my towel...he got a very dirty look)

So are you implying that you prefer YOUNG naked men in the locker room?
 
Not gonna lie, i check my phone in between my heavier sets (longer rest), usually reading a thread on here or one of the several car forums im on. I think it's more douchy to sit there and stare at yourself in the mirror between sets.
I also have my Wendler sets saved on my phone, and i often use the timer function on my phone to keep rest consistent.

1. Other personal trainers saying you need 6 meals a day and a post-workout shake
2. People get mad at the juicer bar when they cant get a shake for 5-10 minutes because the workers are busy
3. People who drop weights around the DB Area instead of setting them down.
 
Dang, if that bothers you might as well not go to the gym.

yeah doing flys with 30's and dropping them on the ground at the top of the motion after a fly instead of doing the neagtive and then setting them down.
Gotta look like a badass doing them heavy fly's brah.
 
Friday Rant:

1) The idea, conception, and motive that drives an individual to bring their shake weight to the gym.....Ive never in my life felt so bad for someone in the gym and Ive seen alotta stupid things

2) Any middleschool or younger kid old in the weight section w/o their guardian. Accidents happen bottomline and the last thing anyone wants to be responsible for is someone elses child

3) People giving advice to others when they are literally 100% wrong. It goes beyond BroSceince sometimes and the ideas people think up astound me
 
I know peoe hate DB droppers buuut.



I used to do that shiz.


I have a home gym now though.


But at 24 we used to toss those mofos.
 
1 People that don't re-rack, or just put weights back in wrong spot. How hard is it to put your weights back properly?
2 Using improper form, especially when they think they're bada$$ for throwing up their heavy weight.
3 Unfocused lifters that workout for an hour when they could have easily finished in 30 minutes.
