It's fuggin here now old fuggers contest prep Extravaganza!!!!!!!

So the hp is tweaking here and there so have to play it smart I did 7 double drop sets of leg extensiions try to bleed out some separation... it fuggin hurt but safer on the hip.

I will be using eliptical trainer to do sprints untull I feel I can move to runing sprints ... the final week I want to be ready if I can but we'll see. Continue on 2250 cals and 75 grams fibrous cabs ed for this coming week I guess.

Even with my carb meal last night I didn't quite reach 190 so I will be down a couple more lbs come monday I feel. I look freakier every day...

Hip may stop me from sprinting but I have devised a routine on the Cross Trainer that I can get somethibng done... fuggin legs were numb....

Thanks guys.. yes I am trying to do all I can for legs in my current situation. I have a plan and it should work out well. I think the problem is dry joints but I can't risk injury by sprinting. The Cross trainer should give me a viable alternative.

Yah you are steeing this one, I am a little freaked at how lean I am getting wow... I know a) your eyes are better than mine and b) you should never rely on your own eyes alone in a situation like this. I have my carb up meal tonight, that makes me happy.

Workouts are good, stamina down a bit but I am still good and strong. I plan on doing another 2 sprint sessions on the Cross Trainer tuesday and thursday after that I could go every day if needed.

Doug you are leaning up and tightening up nicely. Once again I really want to stress to you about leg positioning, on your side shots look at them see how you are posted up on the back leg and there is no bend to it. That is taking away from displaying your legs. For your leg position place the ball of your front foot at the arch of your back foot, bend the legs into about a 1/4 squat, THEN spike your calve while pressing your front thigh into your rear thigh so it spreads out. Just do it once look at the picture and you will see that your legs will realy pop and what separation you do have will be highlighted.

Also on your front shots, while standing in position in front of the mirror look at your legs, now while looking at them and flexing them roll your pelvis back like you are trying to stick your azz out IE... create an arch in the lower back in the lumbar region. When you do this you will see in the mirror how much it separates your leg muscles in your upper thigh. Just check it out, take a picture both ways and let's see which ones make the legs pop more. I would almost put money on it the way I am telling you to try it will be night and day.

Also on your pictures that are really dark like that, try opening them in Paint and clicking Auto-adjust it will fix the lighting in most cases so you can see everything better.
 
So this morning was precor Cross trainer for 8 30 second sprints 1 minute moderate pace. What I do on the sprints is turn the tension up and go as hard as I can making sure all the strain is on the legs.
I was thinking maybe some stariionary bike, I always remember that being hard on the legs maybe I'll mix that in somehow.
Weight was pretty low 188.5 considering I had a carb meal last night. I will be weighing in pretty well every day now so will be interesting to see if there is a difference tomorrow.
Cals are 2250 68-75 grams fiberous carbs (1 grapefruit, brocoli, green beans and bell pepper) Rest is protein which makes it about 360 grams as fat is 30 35 grams now) Still the 2 carb meals a week that were assigned which is around 125 grams of carbs.
 
Decent workout, considering I'm basically running on fumes at this point. Gets a little tougher every day, especially since I have added the sprints...

I am Just under 188 and tomorrow should be around 187 and that should be the low for this week, if we convert my diet to dry carbs and start me filling back out then the lowest period. I guess the pics I do tonight will have a lot to do with that. I know I am looking much freakier though...
 
There was a period where you were stuck at for a bit. Once you passed that, you turned into a freakin freak! Very proud of ya old fugger. Stay motivated for these last 2 weeks, don't let the beat down bring you down.

I never really felt stuck but when Steve became fully involved there was a very definite excelleration. You don't know how lean you can realy go till someone pushes you to get there. You don't know what's possible till you make it that way. Now I've see how it's done a have that reference to go by. I used to do something very similar to prep but I was always fire fighting to get lean. This time I started off in good condition so it's been more of a calcualted process than an panic. This is how it's supposed to be done.

i say that only for informational purposes, not to make you feel you are behind or any other reason
fact is, you were still utilizing technique/protocol that was not really conducive to all-out prep, too deep into the prep process

doesn't matter, still gonna be just fine
just dictates a little different approach here, is all

You should definitely make sure you get some pictures peak day. I assume that the way you already look now there is no way you are not going to do the show right? I mean you look way leaner than you have before. A good fill up is going to have you looking phenomenal.

Agreed and yah show is on... oh by the way making those posing adjustments and man bending the back leg sure makes it easier to get my upper body position and makes my legs look much bigger. The front looks much better but the back in the rear double biceps continues to perplex me.

will be a very sensible, moderate and gradual slope for couple days, to maintain the leanness and fill out
conditioning is gonna rule the day here..too many guys lose that aspect in the last few days
 
Do you have something that can video you while you are doing back posing? If you make adjustments while videoing it. Giving yourself audible cues of what you are doing at the time you can see what it is that makes the best difference. Then you will know what to do and work on. I would probably twist the legs out just a bit more and put the rear leg further forward so you can get more of a hamstring curl on it when spiking the calve. The key though is figuring out what angle your legs need to be to expose the sweep from the back. Doing that is going to be easier with either a trained coach, or you making a video like I said above. Just describe what you are doing then try several different ways and see which way present your legs in the best light.

Yah the way I did it years ago was 3 days gradual increase, I just didn't quite get enough in I think as I was a bit flat the one time I can recall doing it that way. I looked geat the next day after my pig out so that had me searching for alternative methods. Problem really was is my conditioning was not there.

So Steve are you thinking to maintain current diet till Wednesday next week ?
 
Yeah, or you didn't get sodium up enough, which could make it hard to hold the water in the muscle. Either way though you are right the condition was not there enough for water to make a huge difference. I am sure that Steve will more than likely require some pics daily during peak week so he can make adjustments on the fly. Not like that will be a problem since you are taking them regularly.

i will have you have a hi-carb 2hr window on SAT night..then, back to daily diet for SUN (no more MON/THUR carb meals)
i will want pictures on SUN morning, MON morning as well..TUE/WED/THUR, you will drink ~3g water daily
i hope you are salting everything high right now; you will continue this thru TUE; no added salt WED
on WED you wil have your usual MON/THUR clean carb meal for last feeding
at that point, i will have e-mailed you the remaining dietary course, but yes i will want pics THUR morn, and FRI as well

You might be able to get a little piece of that sirloin though, since he gave you the green on some fat...

True but I really like getting some almond butter in the Oats, I could be good for a second tbspn... the way I make it, it tastes just like warm banana bread :)

It's crazy how lean you have gotten. I'm nothing shy of impressed. Watching this transformation has been fun. Can't wait to see you filled back out.
