I'm also doing LG right now.
Been on my vacation and I have great results.

How is changing the macros not "keeping it simple"?

Inda- If you feel going Keto will benefit you, go for it. Many people run LG with Keto style macros.
 
i think im gonna give the ADF a shot thurs/fri.... with an eating challenge friday night to break the fast lol
 
I've been playing around with my marcos and currently I've got this:
Workout day: 314/163/90 = 2717.6 cals
Rest day: 247/99/94 = 2226.4 cals

Anything that I might need to change? (Ie: carbs too low etc etc?)

Also anyone here ever used OG Abliderate?

I agree with everyone who says lg or if in general just helps them enjoy life more. I can go out to eat with family or girlfriend and eat whatever, as long as I have a 8 hour notice lol. Props to the guy who takes time for his son, the world needs more dads like you.

The only issue I have is not being able to eat enough in time due to family or relationships and events. Solution. Force feed.

As far as bcaa's, I have 1kg of Leucine and that's all I drink now. I could add some glut and isol but haven't yet. I also like to flavor them with mio I you have ever heard of it. The lime or melon juice works too.

Anyways, carry on.

What brand are you using? LINK?
 
I have SNS, got a deal on it somewhere along the line, it was the cheapest on NP at the time and I had an order there I tacked it on to. I will just toss 5g in with water for intra workout, one for my cardio session, and one if I need one throughout the day. Not as good as BCAA but better than nothing, and I CAN feel the difference.
 
Hey guys i just bought myself a bottle of L-Arginine, L-Ornithine dietary supplement. How often should i take these pills. And at what strategic times for best results?
 
Down another 2 pounds this week due to lean gains... Its like clockwork... I have never had consistent, write it down fat-loss like this... As an added bonus i get to laugh every time i weigh myself after a refeed and see that i gained 9 pounds...

sometimes 2....

i deplete for 2 days, cardio on both (thurdsay and friday). I always weigh myself on Saturday morning right before my refeed starts to get an accurate reading... And then on Sunday nights to get a good WTF....

Answers some quiestions on whether you can prep on it... I think I came pretty close and am confident to use it in any situation ... I'm a lifer :) oh and I did not have to get very extreme so there was definitely room for improvement...
 
I have set out on my lean gains journey, day 1 begins today. Lean mass goal, +10% on workout days, +/- 0 on rest days (4 train, 3 rest) 30min light cardio on saturday & Sunday before I break the fast. Looking forward to it, and hunger isn't too bad, breaking it in 15 minutes!!!!!

I have set out on my lean gains journey, day 1 begins today. Lean mass goal, +10% on workout days, +/- 0 on rest days (4 train, 3 rest) 30min light cardio on saturday & Sunday before I break the fast. Looking forward to it, and hunger isn't too bad, breaking it in 15 minutes!!!!!

its funny, without anabolics it seems almost impossible to gain mass rapidly even if you jerk calories way up on IF. Which is ok, because most of the time when you do that anyhow you are adding more fat than muscle. I'm right now using the iron mag labs super dmz rx 2.0 (dymethazine + methyl sten) and the gains are really shocking with heavy calories

So, what you're saying is on something AAS related, a large influx of calories on build days works wonders for lean mass? Or the other way around

its funny, without anabolics it seems almost impossible to gain mass rapidly even if you jerk calories way up on IF. Which is ok, because most of the time when you do that anyhow you are adding more fat than muscle. I'm right now using the iron mag labs super dmz rx 2.0 (dymethazine + methyl sten) and the gains are really shocking with heavy calories


What percentage over maintenance are you on weight vs non weight days? Are you 16/8

I'm definitely gaining WAY more mass and its lean on the same calories with a decent dosing of AAS vs the same eating and no AAS. It was going from staying more or less at maintenance weight to gaining 2+lbs a week with same intake. The great part is at this point i'm up 10lbs with noticeably tighter sleeves + shirt at the chest, and not a noticeable change at the waist. feeling heavy at over 220 though, I guess i'm getting old :D

eh the % vary, i'm not that anal about it. mostly try to enjoy life, which IF is great for. Probably right now i'm at -10 on burn days and +40 build days, at the start of the changeover I was maintaining at around -20 burn days + 10 build and started with gaining about 2lbs in the first week on the anabolics.

usually its 16/8 or 17/7, but occasionally i'm having a blowout day and its more like 12/12. Only have that once every 2-3 weeks. I figure stressing over any detail too much ends up with more muscle loss and less fat gain due to cortisol than i'm likely to get from whatever minute detail being perfect :D

there doesn't seem to be any evidence that a longer fast helps significantly more. Thats not to say it doesn't, just there isn't any evidence that it does.

Good luck man, I am new to IF. If its working I'd stick with it. Maybe change to a regular diet 2 weeks out for depletion & workout purposes.

I'm just starting IF. Used a 6 meal approach for my prep but I will be doing the 16/8 for this 28 week period. If it treats me well, I'll try it with my next prep also.
 
Don't know if this has been discussed cause its kind of shi**y

But when I Eat my first meal to break my fast I end up having a pretty big sized bowel movement 30ish minutes later.....I feel like all the food that was in my body got sent away to make room for the new food...
 
I'm definitely gaining WAY more mass and its lean on the same calories with a decent dosing of AAS vs the same eating and no AAS. It was going from staying more or less at maintenance weight to gaining 2+lbs a week with same intake. The great part is at this point i'm up 10lbs with noticeably tighter sleeves + shirt at the chest, and not a noticeable change at the waist. feeling heavy at over 220 though, I guess i'm getting old :D
its almost like the aas let your body take advantage of all the calories coming in at once......

This makes me wonder how combining IF with an SD pulse (workout days) would work...been doing IF for a few months now and considering this in the fall. I've never done SD though....thoughts?
