Fumoney - Recompadrol/AAV2/Natty-V Log (Sponsored by Enhanced Body Formulations)

Modern BCAA takes a little more effort to mix, but the peach punch flavor isnt bad. Usually just put it in protein shaker and shake for 10 seconds maybe again later to get the floaties on top to mix but the Recoverpro mixrs the same way. Not sure about other brands, havent tried any others.

I am lazy. I pour the BCAA into bottle. Fill it with cold water and mix by shaking it. I also have Modern BCAA. I think its blue raspberry. It tastes OK until I get to the foam which is too much sometimes to get down. I always feel like I am wasting it if I don't mix the foam back in and drink it.

DJBeanpole loves Compete. Muscle Marinade intrigues me also.
 
Hmmmm. Those 2 are PWOs. Wouldn't be smart to drink them throughout the day.

Cardio - Walking (1,240 calories burned)
Lifting - Chest (22 sets), Biceps (7 sets)

Strength - Felt ridiculously strong.
Workout Energy - Focused and felt alpha. Walking felt like nothing.
Normal Energy - High all day.
Appetite - Little low today. Food was not on mind. The boardwalk pizza did add calories.
Recovery - None from yesterdays shoulder workout. Now I am missing DOMS again.
Libido - High. Stimulus and reactions all day.
Skin condition – Not that oily, but I have a breakout on my cheek. Damn.

Summary:
Another Saturday and another day down the shore. I woke up early and got to the gym right away. Felt great as soon as I got up. Before I got up, I had to give my girlfriend a look to take care of some business. All goes well on that front. She commented that she loved how my upper body looked as she looked up. Hell yeah. Now I am really going to destroy the weights. Ate some eggs, wheat bagel and some boiled chicken to get my energy up. Took my trusty BCAA and off I went.

Lots of eye candy at the gym on Saturday morning. I was able to focus, but damn if I didn’t look around a little to take in the view. No yoga pants. Tight shorts and small tops. NICE !!! Libido is really kicking in this morning.

No cardio at the gym knowing I will be walking later today. Got right down to business on the hammer strength. After 4 sets, I knew it was going to be a good day. I felt very strong and the weight felt nice. 6 sets down and I was ready to kill it. Just to step back, the reason I start with 90 lbs on this exercise is so I do not hurt my joints. No matter how little the weight is, slow reps with full range of motion really help me get my wrists and elbows ready to take on the stress later on. Set 7 was completed equaling PR from last session. Chest and arms were pumped and I felt strong. So I decided, what the heck !!! Loaded 5 plates on both sides for 450 lbs and repped out 3. Went and grabbed my phone to stop the recording and then did 2 quick drop sets at 360 lbs and 270 lbs. Videos of sets 6 and 7 are posted below on workout details.

Dumbbell curls next. I upped the weight by 5 lbs to 35 lbs and it felt great. I used to do 45 lb curls, but had to drop the weight when I hurt my wrist. Slowly recovering. Actually, the light weight feel great as I am now consciously going slower and supinating at the top to get max effect.

Machine flyes next and finished up with Strive 5 angle chest press and I was done. Awesome pump at this point. I felt like I accomplished everything I wanted to.

At the shore, it was a little chilly so we walked on the boardwalk. Being a little chilly I think made it easier to walk. My GF and I walked 2 full loops plus ½ miles with 2 bathroom breaks. That is 10.5 miles in 3 hours and 45 minutes and it really did not feel like that much. Navigating through people did slow us down at certain sections, but overall we kept our heart rate up and got what we wanted out of it. Love my girl. She is so into staying fit.

We did eat a slice of pizza and a huge ice cream cone. I had mine with Recompadrol.

Summary:
Today is cardio day. No lifting to give my body a break. The rest days inserted between 2 days of lifting has definitely helped with soreness. It also give my elbow and wrist a chance to heal up. They are both 95% healed I would say, but I need to be wary on heavy lifting days as not to aggravate it.

Appetite suppression is gone and I had normal urges today. Nothing extraordinary. Libido was decent and no signs of oil on skin.
I felt great all day and have a lot of energy at the gym. Amazing how a little boost in energy makes your day better.
I sweated profusely through a nice cardio session and felt nice and lean when I was done.

Summary:
Ahhh, Friday. Half day of work and right to the gym. Felt great as soon as I woke up and work was very productive. Appetite was normal at strategic times. I ate clean all day in smaller amount knowing that I could cheat at dinner time. Expecting to eat a lot of carbs. Seafood (calamari + shrimp + eye round added) Pho with sprouts with Sriracha. Love spicy soup. Makes you sweat nicely and then cools you off. Had an Orange smoothie with tapioca as well. Also had a grilled chicken Vietnamese rolls.

I ate a lot because at dinner time, I did have a big appetite.

I had an amazing session at the gym. I started off with an hour of cardio to get the blood pumping. For me, this order works best to get full effort out of cardio and lifting when combined in the same day. Great sweat again and full of energy again. Cardio is betting better each day. Still below previous best days, but setting the machine at 15 lbs lower I think definitely affects the calorie count. I am now happy with anything over 900.

Shoulders are next and immediately, I knew I would struggle with heavy weights. The smith machine overheads felt very heavy throughout and I was well short of my PR. There was about a 5 hour fast before lifting and I did not eat much in the morning. I am thinking this affected my strength.

Shrugs, Upright Rows, Laterals and Rear delt went well to finish shoulders off. I purposely rested longer between sets to get maximum effort out. I think I literally spent all afternoon at the gym. Not good, but I had nothing really pressing to do other than meeting my GF for dinner. I wasn’t happy with my smith presses, so before I left, I played around with the Nautilus Shoulder Press. It really gave me a sense of how much machines help you out – even versus smith machine. I was able to lift the entire stack of 250 lbs with good form, so I pushed out 5 sets. Man, the shoulders were jacked. That’s what one of the trainers at the gym said. Definite ego boost for me.

With 11 days to go, I am going to add in some bicep work and ab work. Yes, I think it's time. I think I leaned up enough where I can now pay some attention to them. Anyone know of a good max 20 minute workout each for abs and biceps ?

Onto tomorrow. I may add in a morning workout for legs and then come back at night to do cardio and play volleyball.

Just checked some pics a few pages back. HUGE improvements man. I'm starting to see some striations and feathers that were not visible in the before pics ;)! Excellent freaking work. It's partly because of this thread that I went ahead and ordered 4 bottles of Recompadrol myself ;)! Hope to get similar results out of it!

Summary:
So I when my eyes opened around 4 AM today, I had this great idea to put in a double session of work today. Sure....i will lift in the AM and play volleyball and do cardio in the evening.

I got up and got ready to goto the gym. I was up, but did not have the energy. I slept about 4 hours and regretted it right away. I arrived at the gym OK and energy started to build as I started working up the pyramid on the leg press. Thank god I no longer go for PRs on leg press. I know I would not have the energy to make it. I did not eat anything prior and i only had my BCAA with me.

The leg press was completed without fanfare and I finished extensions and curls as well. I think my form was good and my legs were pumped, but it did feel like I was going through the motions. When I left the gym and got into my car, my energy quickly dropped and wanted to curl up and sleep. This was a start of a very tired day at work. This was my second attempt to work out fasted and I definitely cannot do it. Maybe PWO would help, but I have chosen not to take it all this time and I am not sure I want to start it now.

Well, it may work for others, but for me it's for the birds as they say.

My appetite was off all day. Today, I ate some grilled shrimp, potatoes, 1/2 biscuit, chicken mixed with tortellini and antipasti and more chicken for dinner swimming in sriracha. Did not even hit 2,000 calories today and had little appetite.

Libido was good and performed well at night. it's been pretty strong at times and have not been weak at any point during this run.

I think the chili's in sriracha gave me a kick as when I got to the gym at night, I had more energy. Decided against cardio and played volleyball only. Played like a madman diving and running everywhere. It was a lot of fun and got my shirt soaked from sweat. I did bump into a girl in my team and my sweat got on her. She looked thoroughly disgusted and I think she threw up a little in her mouth. ;(
No, I don't think she threw up, but she did not look happy. NO more cotton shirt for me at volleyball. Back to a wicking shirt. She did look amazing in her volleyball shorts though.

i felt like I moved quicker today and jumped higher. I was even able to block a spike from a guy no one ever blocks. I know it had a lot to do with timing, but he usually jumps so high that it does not matter even if you know he is going to cross or go down the line. Volleyball was a lot a fun and it was a fun way to end the night.

Yes, one of the best perks of working here. It's similar to whole foods prepared foods section with a lots of fresh veggies and meats as well as pizza or sandwiches if that's what you want.

Packers, I stare at that every Monday playing volleyball. Creepy I know but you can't stop a grown ass man from looking if you are coming in dressed like that. Volleyball fear or not !
