Ur Spray

Ur Spray contains a soluble derivative of the amazing natural repartitioning compound ursolic acid. By transforming the poorly absorbed parent ursolic acid into its acetic acid ester, and then into the sodium salt of that ester, a form is acquired that can be effectively delivered via topical formulation.
This allows a much higher percentage of ursolic acid to enter the body than with oral formulations of straight ursolic acid. It also allows for a sustained release effect, so that blood levels of ursolic acid can be maintained throughout the day

no

but i can take pictures of how the parent compound dissolves in transdermal base and then how this dissolves.

there is no reason why this formulation should not get a decent amount of ursolic acid into the body. When you figure that the oral bioavailability of ursolic acid is said to be less than 1 percent I dont think there is much to overcome here

many of the products on prototype are just that - prototypes. Ideas that are put on the market at a very early stage - often before proof of concept has been established. I literally make all those sprays by hand, and in the case of the Ur Spray i made the actual active ingredient (sodium ursolic acetate) by hand starting from Ursolic Acid that was around 95 percent pure

Just picked up two bottles of this and looking forward to giving it a run at some point.

My wife is pregnant, so of course ill be wearing a t shirt if i decide to utilize the product when i get it, but do you think any negative things could happen if my wife for some reason got in contact with some of the urso? I realize urso isnt hormonal.

I know this might be a hard question to answer and i know theres no definitive answer, just kind of looking for your opinion so thank you i appreciate your time.

There's a sucker born every minute.
I am a sucker. I bought a bottle. Patrick never makes any big promises or hypes any of his products. HE states what he thinks they will do based on his knowledge, experiences and science, and leaves the rest to consumer. If it doesnt work, it doesnt work. Look at the original urso, he even said it was somewhat lacking or something to that effect and he was trying a new form that should work better. It may suck, who knows. I am willing to try it

any truth to This?
Read this today. Ursolic acid triggers the key anabolic hormones responsible for muscle growth.

Another key anabolic effect centers around ursolic acid’s effect on molecular signaling molecules. Ursolic acid “switched on” the receptors for IGF-1, Akt and S6K. This molecular signaling activity leads to an increase in protein synthesis and cell proliferation.

What would be a good stack with this? Anabeta?

[h=1]Cardiovascular, antihyperlipidemic and antioxidant effects of oleanolic and ursolic acids in experimental hypertension.[/h]
Somova LO, Nadar A, Rammanan P, Shode FO.
[h=3]Source[/h]Department of Human Physiology, University of Durban-Westville, Durban, South Africa. [email protected]

[h=3]Abstract[/h]Cardiovascular (systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate), antihyperlipidemic (tryglycerides, total cholesterol and lipoprotein fractions), antioxidant (glutathione peroxidase--GPx, and superoxide dismutase--SOD), diuretic/saluretic and hypoglycemic activity of 98% pure oleanolic (OA) and ursolic (UA) acid were studied in Dahl salt-sensitive (DSS), insulin resistant rat model of genetic hypertension. Both OA and UA displayed low toxicity, with LC50 0.10 and 0.95 mg/ml, respectively. Although both triterpenoids did not have direct hypotensive effect, after 6-week application in a daily dose 60 mg/kg b.w., i.p., they prevented the development of severe hypertension. The antihypertensive effect was attributed to their potent diuretic-natriuretic-saluretic activity; direct cardiac effect (heart rate decrease by 34% and 32%, respectively); antihyperlipidemic (more than two times decrease of LDL and triglycerides); antioxidant (GPx increase by 12% and 10%, respectively; SOD increase by 12% and 22%, respectively), and hypoglycemic (blood glucose decrease by 20% and 50%, respectively) effects on the DSS rats. Except for the antihyperlipidemic effects, the other described above in vivo antihypertensive effects of OA and UA are reported for the first time and the underlying mechanisms are currently under investigation.

[h=3]Abstract[/h]In the present study, two phytochemicals - ursolic acid (UA) and luteolin-7-glucoside (L7G) - were assessed in vivo in healthy rats regarding effects on plasma glucose and lipid profile (total cholesterol, HDL and LDL), as well as liver glycogen content, in view of their importance in the aetiology of diabetes and associated complications. Both UA and L7G significantly decreased plasma glucose concentration. UA also significantly increased liver glycogen levels accompanied by phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK3). The increase in glycogen deposition induced by UA (mediated by GSK3) could have contributed to the lower plasma glucose levels observed. Both compounds significantly lowered total plasmacholesterol and low-density lipoprotein levels, and, in addition, UA increased plasma high-density lipoprotein levels. Our results show that UA particularly may be useful in preventable strategies for people at risk of developing diabetes and associated cardiovascular complications by improving plasma glucose levels and lipid profile, as well as by promoting liver glycogen deposition.

I actually am still on UA and take it for the "health" benefits. Kinda like how ppl take milk thistle or NAC. I take UA for that. If I get anymore out of it then omg it's amazing. Perhaps I will pick up the spray too ;D

There's a sucker born every minute.
It's funny that you did not quote all of Pat's post when you chimed in on the thread on Bodybuilding.Com. In full context Pat goes on to explain himself. See below. As I mentioned over there, Pat is smart enough, and has enough followers that he could BS all day long and make a killing if he wanted to. Instead he's upfront and honest to the consumers, who in reality are gullible and easily taken advantage of. You will be hard pressed to find another formulator in this industry who has a track record of effective, non tainted products as PA.

Good luck in your 2012 hating goals though.

The regular version seems to work well for me. I'd be interested in trying this though if it ever comes out in the "official E-Pharm" brand. The prototype store only accepts credit cards and I don't use them anymore. If they had an Amazon storefront I would purchase from there. I once emailed the customer service people but the response I got signified that they didn't really understand English.

as with all the sprays we suggest you try to cover as much skin as you can once a day. 50 sprays usually is the average

we dont want to disclose how much of the active is in each mg right now, but its in the same ballpark as the amount of actives per mL in our other sprays

Did you know they can take a completely natural component of Red Yeast Rice (used for countless centuries), copy a compound contained in it, patent it, then force RYR off the market due to it being a "drug"?
