Yea how do you compare it to jacked, I'm a jack3d addict so it would be good info to have!

Well Rick finally took your advice on the LN cheesecake, it's cooling in fridge now! Will let you know how I like it in am.

I gave Ignite 2 a very good test today for a burn day. I've been contemplating entering a half-marathon sometime this summer when I feel I'm ready, and I've been planning to start training for it in my cardio sessions for a while....Figured today was a good day to start!!

So, after a nice big scoop of Ignite 2, I hit the treadmill with a goal in mind. See how fast I can get in half the distance to start. A half marathon is 13 miles, so i figured if I start at half the distance (6.5 miles) and add in a mile or two each week, I might be ready for this thing by summertime! :fingersx:

I'm already used to hitting the treadmill running for 4-5 miles 3 times a week, so I knew I could get the distance, just wanted to make sure I could keep the pace up. :run:

After about 15 minutes of my dose of Ignite, I was amped up and full of energy to try it out. I did varied speed of 8-9 MPH, but I reached my goal and got 6.5 miles within 45 minutes with some seconds to spare! :woohoo:

My overall goal is to get the half marathon in at an hour and a half, so I'm right on pace....if I can just keep the same pace for another 6.5 miles I will get it!

Burned about 1k Cal's overall :D

I did a half and you don't run a half before you actually do it. I ran 3 10 k's a week and then about 6 days before I ran 15 k and then killed the half... 1 hour 55 not as fast as you but I was 240...

Wow rr the cheesecake is so good bro!

The stim in Ignite is more smooth and clean than both white flood and Jacked IMO (I've used both), but I would say it is unbelievably powerful for one scoop. I've had lots of energy on Ignite but no jitters ;)

That is still a damn good time Doug especially at 240!!

Plus Ignite lasts much longer and has more reaction in the body for better workouts, for me anyway. I call it body stim :)

I was proud of it and was surprised how easy it was, I finished and thought, I could have started out faster. When I start out slower like that I hit 10k and I am just in the zone, I just get faster..it's weird.

The first 3 miles of my races are always my slowest. Then I really fey loose and warmed up and can set a good pace.

Yah my breathing settles too, I have chronic bronchitis though and always breath better once my lungs clear so that could account for a lot of the surge...plus the warming up aspect me being so big at the time.

There is that and also finding your stride. My stride is no where near endurance running. LOL I am a sprinter. I am built for sprinting and although I can train myself to be able to run longer distances, I am not able to do them with any speed to speak of.

Dried out quite a bit over the weekend, and actually look drier and leaner than ever. Now that I'm finally losing a lot of the water I've been holding, I can officially confirm that I've leaned out more the last month. I was dry and depleted at 164 this morning. Not as full of course, but very ripped

Workout went pretty well. Dosed my Ignite and hit the gym with a ton of energy. Despite being depleted, I still got a damn good pump going and vascularity was off the chain. Lifts were pretty good, nothing outstanding but I'm holding strength well. I'm due for a deload anyways so I'm not really trying to go up on anything until I go on cycle in 4 weeks. Just need to maintain for now and give my a body a break

He's so gay....big Gay Al.

I do like holding hands with the big fella tho...

The more I think about what Rick has done over the last few months the more I feel, I may be selling myself short and being satisfied with 6% bf this summer. I will just take it where it goes but am going to avoid that big push for the crazy leanness. You can go very low by timing things right and just sticking to the diet protocols without having to really drop calories. I got pretty low last year on fairly high cals using Epi-V. I am leaner now that I was this time last year and planning my peak better so ...who knows. Slow and steady...

Exactly Doug!....and I truly appreciate the kind words about my progress. That means a whole lot coming from you. If you have the time, and no deadline to meet, taking it slow and steady will leave you much better with the end result. The only downside is when things go that slow, your mind will play tricks on you wondering if you are going anywhere or making any positive changes....then you go back and look at your own pics and it tells the whole story about how far you've come ;)

Yah for me it's going to be about how low can I cruise to.. lean gains makes a lot of things possible that were impossible for me before and of course the supps I will be using will shred me up too...

Had another great workout today, and I did fill up quite a bit yesterday and took in quite a bit of carbs. This gave me some nice fullness today, and weight was back up to 167 :)

With the fullness, Ignite really seems to shine. You get the really big pumps that make your arms tighten up a lot, and the vascularity really gets pretty crazy with the veins popping. I noticed this morning that I do have some more veins coming in around my delts and lats, and I did notice also seeing more coming in on my lower body in the quads and calves and even one more coming in on the other side of my ABS that is faint but I can see it when flexing them and not overly bloated.

I will probably continue workouts as they have for this week and next, then do one week deload and then probably a little into the next before taking about 5 days off or so from the gym. I think that will do my body great before heading into my big summer cycle the week after ;)

You seem to be cruising even leaner yourself :)

Yeh...and funny thing is I'm not really trying to. I've added Cal's over the last month, strength and mass has increased, yet I'm leaner....who's to argue with that?

Not a soul..

Not a soul..

Well... my 2 cents is... I'm back in the gym, injuries are getting better and I'm gonna catch up to both you Ripped Mo-Fo's!

Sniff...sniff... I smell a challenge in this! I wanna challenge or be challenged by someone or similar body type & body fat to see who can get the leanest while maintaining the most amount of muscle by summer (x amount of weeks)... Anyone? Friendly challenge of course, motivational purposes!

Hey I thought we had a challenge going 12 weeks ... :) I am not ripped right now but I will be kind of cut by mid may so it may not be fair... I will be going for hyper ripped 6 weeks 550Xd and 6 of Epi-v ... I will start out fairly lean so it should be awesome...

Waiting for more challenge discussion!! Good stuff here!

I smell an epic shred thread challenge coming!!.

Oops guess I missed out, should finish catching up before typing lol

Of course, hey you should see Chris when he's cut, If he brings his A game we're all fugged :( don't want to lose his advice either or Al's ... hek we can learn off you too. If it's one thing I have learned is everybody has something to teach you, best to remain humble and take advantage of the opportunity...

oops old fugger quote :)

God I know man, Kleen is a beast when he's primed. Al's no joke either. As for me I don't think I've ever been RIPPED but I'll be pushing 110% going for RICK ROCK STATUS!!

Doug, you are already in aren't you? I took the mention of y'all already being in a contest as you were in by default. Livetolift, no reason you couldn't be involved. I just called out Green because I knew he would love this. Oufinny is in on it too, I sent him a chat and he said he was down. I don't know that we need more than that though, too much more and keeping track will be hard.

Rick, gonna hijack your thread some more and figure out what the rules are, and if there are any incentives other than being King of the hill.

Pictures - We take our "Before" pictures any time between now and this weekend and have them turned in and or posted up by Monday. This way we can have a comparison from this moment forward. I don't intend on hampering my progress trying not to lose more fat this week to look bad in a picture. Second and very important in order to be fair, no intentionally spilling over or having a huge meal before your starting pics to look worse so you can show more improvement. Pictures will be Front Relaxed, Side Relaxed, Back Relaxed, Front Double Biceps, Rear Double Biceps, Most Muscular and leg shots. Should we post up our pics every Monday or do you all think it should be on a 2 weeks schedule? For competition sake and motivation weekly may keep all of us more on our game.

Incentives - Are we going to have any incentives or just a King of the Hill thing. With multiple entries a loser has to do type of thing won't work so other than bragging rights / satisfaction of the win I don't know what we could do.

I don't have time for a whole new log so this would simply be a place to put pics and stats, then BS about how everyone is doing, not somewhere I would be logging what I was doing. Is there a way to make a weekly poll within a single thread?

This contest would be an awesome thing to watch with you guys! Great idea Kleen and you know my logs are always open to any and all discussion. There is no such thing as a hijack in a RickRock log

Also I guess we need to discuss time frame, how long? I am thinking basically starting now until 8 weeks from Monday unless someone wanted to go longer for some reason.
