Honestly I am not the one to ask there. I had a bad bout of bronchitis and had to be put on steroids for my lungs the week before starting this so my lungs have been improving the whole time just from being messed up. It is the reason I had to change my workout form the fast paced 30 seconds rest one I was doing before this.

Yeah if being comfortable is one of your requirements for a diet pill then Ephedra may not be for you. It is very effective but in my experience not the most pleasant diet pill to be on. Now ephedra is actually great for the lungs though, it is a bronchio dilator.

Thanks for the info, good to hear your kicking the bronchitis, its a bitch trying to cough while lifting.

ok brother even while you have been sick you make me look weak. knock that crap off. LOL.... Man I have a boat load of catching up to do you strong mofo.

I wanted to have a lower calorie day yesterday so I pretty much ate only meat all day then a few carbs before bed to have a lil glycogen in the muscle for the morning workout. Nutrition was like this, 10 oz chicken breast, 8 oz chicken breast, 10 oz bottom round steak, 1 small peanut butter cookie and about 3 bites of mashed potatoes. SO over 200 protein, not much fat and about 40-50grams carbs last night. Not a bad burn day at all.

Here is the lift from this morning.

Exercise x12-15 reps
Wide Grip T-Bar - 70x15 90x15 115x15
HS Rows - 80 per side x23 1 minute max reps

Wide Grip Lat Pull 150x15 135x15 135x15
Straight Arm Lat Pull down 60x25 1 minute max reps

EZ Bar Curl 60x15 60x15 60x15
DB Hammer Curls 25x24 1 minute max reps

Seated Leg Curls 95x15 95x15 95x15
Lying Leg Curl 50x22 1 minute max reps

Yes it is and thanks! Strength is starting to come back a little bit but I am going to make sure to keep the increase gradual rather than balls out so I can have more points of adaptation to grow.

Haha, it is only going to keep climbing. Hard to believe I did 265x12 solid and clean reps on bench 1 month ago and now I find myself struggling under 235.

Thoughts on Fat Free now energy wise? Seems to be knocking out the appetite, what about the stim effect?

I described it in detail a little bit back, but the energy from it is great. Not that nervous energy, jittery, or moody. Just good energy. Off of 2 caps it is about as much energy as I want to have a dose of a diet pill have. It lasts a very long time and after taking a single capsule 6 hours later I feel like I took 2 again because there is still stim left from the morning dose. It is not a stimmed out diet pill though where 1 capsule is almost too much. So if that is what you need I would take 2 capsules then 1 later.

A lot of people have been saying they experience appetite suppression. I noticed it myself. Its not as though I dont want to eat but I may have to remind myself its meal time. Could be a good thing if youre super leans craving everything or just trying to spread meals furher apart.

Good to see that you are working your way back to those great workouts again Chris. I know how bad bronchitis can kick your ass!

That's a bit too much appetite suppression for me. I prefer to be looking forward to mey meals...but with LG that's hardly ever an issue anyway :) I guess if you really need to lose some serious poundage increased appetite supression would be good though. When you start to get down though you need to eat to keep fat loss going and preserve muscle and eating too little can be just and dangerous as eating too much.

This sounds about right if busy, especially if you were eating a 5-6 meal a day plan.

Thanks Rick, my lungs are feeling much better. Not perfect mind you but this week has been much better on me. Then again the pace of the workouts are a bit slower than the 30 second rest periods I had going on before.

In all honesty it is about the perfect amount of suppression for me with the fasting. I get a tiny hunger pang about 8:30, by 8:40 it is gone, then about 30 minutes after my second dose I get a flash of hunger, then around 11:30 or 12:00 I am starting to get decently hungry at which point I can eat a meal and feel satisfied or hold off another few hours without much effort. I definitely expand my Fasting by a few hours, and shorten my feeding window, I have no problem getting my calories in within 6-7 hours, and I have no problem with going as low as 900 calories on a burn day either. The catabolic effect of that has been over blown for so long. Even Martin mentions the rate of fat burn increase beyond 16 hours of fasting but the increase comes from more visceral fat being burned. However for some reason he thinks visceral fat loss is not as important as subcutaneous. Not so for me because I hold a lot of visceral fat, which is part of the reason I don't put much stock in body fat measurements. I can lose a decent amount of weight, and 2 inches off my waist line and only end up having a 1 mm change in my abdominal pinch. So to me extending my fat burning longer is aesthetically beneficial to me since makes my waist line much smaller. That is just one of the disagreements between Lean Gains and something like an ADF approach to intermittent fasting. I tend to like to kind of mesh those two philosophies a bit.

Right now I can say I am pleased with how my physique is coming along. I feel that Fat Free is a major part of the reason I am able to have a rebound in muscle while obviously leaning up a bit. That and the extra calories that came in adding the 4rth day. I decided not to cut cals elsewhere but ride it out since I am already starting to lean up decently and should be on point for looking good in the next month or so. EPI-V will be in the mix as of this weekend to so I will give my full report on Fat Free alone over the past 3 weeks, and then will continue on with the log with the understanding that EPI-V and maybe even AndroDrive will be put in the mix. I think the EPI-V will make a drastic difference in my appearance by cutting out on some of the water I am holding with all the extra carbs I have been playing around with. Those who know me know I tend to run a max of about 200g of carbs on workout days so the extra 70-100 grams and being 4 days instead of 3 has me a little more watery than normal, but I can still see the fat loss so hoping it will be really evident what Fat Free has done once the water comes off from the EPI-V.

As far as this morning I slept in, no one in my house but me had to get up so I just didn't feel like getting up at 3:50Am to walk on the treadmill when I knew I could bring stuff up here and take a walk outside at lunch instead. Hell, I can even work on my tan, the weather is Fuggin Fantastical even. . ;)

But my problem is when hunger hits it hits hard and I wanna eat right at that moment. If Im not prepared, I may start looking around for something convenient which is rarely diet friendly. That slight suppression isnt doesnt fall into one extreme or the other. Its good for me as I work in a busy lab and meal time doesnt always mean I can step away. But my entire lab knows how I eat so if I tell them I need 5 minutes they get the point.

Chris are you planning on peaking with the EPI-V then. I really recommend that you use just like you would winnie... I am telling you I made a big mistake not peeking with it last year. I looked good at around 6% but think how good I would have looked it I had taken it all the way to contest. I would have been sub 5, big and hard... I think though for a good summer look and 6% it's also a good choice. I wouldn't use it if I was aiming any higher than 6 though. I know you can do it but the pace may have to be fairly quick if you're sitting at around 10 right now.

The addition of the EPI-V should really help things. I've certainly learned that being dry and hard can make all the difference in the world.. .particularly at the lower bodyfat range.

man you said it, I have such a problem with looking soft even though I am lean and this makes all the difference.

^This. Seriously it messes with my head. More because im just fully depleted I look soft so I think Im not that lean (and my scale BF% lies). I did the caliper today and came up 7%. Immediately chowed down a beef burrito.

Yep depletion is another brain bender but we know better... hate looking at myself after fasted cardio :(

Oh hell yeh, I can relate to that flat look after fasted cardio!

I will post up my workouts later because they are on my home computer. I had 2 great ones this weekend. As of Saturday morning I was 204.5, so 3.5 lbs lost and I can tell you for sure I am putting some of my muscle back on as well. There was a ton going on this weekend as you can imagine so I didn't get around to doing my body fat or taking any pics. I will have to do that this coming weekend. I started my EPI-V and AndroDrive will be doing 6 caps Epi-V and 4 of AndroDrive a day for the next 6 weeks. I am hoping the EPI-V pulls the water from the extra carbs I have been eating off as well as helps me add some more muscle. I imagine the grapefruit peel extract should increase the bioavailability for the Epi-Andro allowing for more muscle.

Well I am sure I will peak using this, but I don't really have anything to peak for other than just wanting to look really good for myself. However it will give me a reference point for it's use when I choose to compete later and want to incorporate something to peak.

Oh yeah being dry i s great but once you are lean, like you are, it is only in your head that you look sloppy when a little wet. To everyone else you still look buff and ripped. That is the difference between being 6 and 8-9%

man you said it, I have such a problem with looking soft even though I am lean and this makes all the difference.

I have that problem until around 6% then there is really nothing I can do to look soft, just not dry.

LMAO!!! Yeah looking at your avi, I think that looking soft is probably in your head too. LOL

Depletion can be tricky for sure. However when i am not lean depletion or not I am not happy with my appearance.

Oh hell yeh, I can relate to that flat look after fasted cardio!

All the way up to the fast breaker huh... The the veins get buck!

Epi-V plus AndroDrive...Kleen you're gonna be freaky ripped...can't wait for the results. Im down 3lbs and 1.5% BF today after week one.

Yah I am going to do the same thing, I mean we should peak some time every year I think, gives us something to shoot for. Just do pics at the end of it ... that's all you have usually after a contest anyway.. that and a dust collector :)

Right, I am sure there will be tons of pics once I am leaner. I love me some Lean Kleen!

I can't believe I did it again, I meant to bring up my spreadsheet with my last 3 workouts but forgot to grab it again on the way out. I had a great workout Saturday, & Sunday, however I think I either had my arms to far back on the smith machine shoulder press lockouts or the seat in the wrong position on the lateral raise machine because my shoulder is a bit inflamed today. I was able to workout this morning without too much trouble but it did lower some of my numbers a little. I think it should be fine by Thursday when I lift again though.

I am looking rather large, although I have lost 3.5 lbs so far I feel I am filling out a bit in the shoulders and legs. Like I said I had a little downtime and I feel like I have just about caught up on rebuilding anything that was lost. I am noticing that my higher cals at 1800 / 2800 is actually more of a slow cut, almost a recomp for me than being the aggressive cut I was planning on. I am going to stick with the cals and see what the addition of the EPI-V and AndroDrive do for me regarding faster fat loss and maybe a little more muscle.

So far I am definitely really enjoying the Fat Free, it is a feel good stim, with just the right amount of appetite supression and there is definitely something to be said for the cortisol suppression as well.

Stick with cals Kris, I was on 3200 and 2400 last year and cut up pretty good while on Epi-v... your weight will not go down that much but the fat will and when you get dryer and harder you will see that you look so much leaner.

I am definitely going to stick with these ranges for a little while longer I mean it averages out to 2400 a day which I actually know is about my maintenance just a little under actually. I am hoping the metabolism speeds up a little with these cals. Since I have a notoriously efficient metabolism I can maintain weight with minimal cals, and even gain as well.

You did cut up a lot on it last year Doug and I do remember your cals were high like that. Last I saw Chris he is looking thick and leaning out as well, it is overdo for us to do a workout!

A little late to this, but I ABSOLUTELY agree with you and DW on the fasted cardio thing, it really does not matter what shape I am in, I always look my worst after!

Fat Free Synopsis in 15 words or less...
"I am sitting here with tons of energy and no hunger... Gotta love that. "

Hopefully my weekend wont be so chaotic and I can take some pics and maybe do my body fat. I think I am making some good progress, not as fast as i would be if I was eating my normal cutting calories but I am trying something new and although my weight is not falling off I feel like the fat is. The extra build day in there has brought me closer to my overall maintenance and my choice to remain there has kept me full while the fat still burns.

Sorry for not bringing in the workouts. The wife pulled a muscle in her lower back yesterday and I was tending to taking care of feeding the family & stuff and didn't have time to get on my computer last night.

This was Sunday's lift, man I had the most ridiculous pump! All of the biceps and triceps moves were super sets. O Bar curls w/ HS Dips, Rope Ext w/ Pin Wheels. The Over Head Cable triceps w/ cable curls were also super sets during the FST-7 sets which left me so pumped it was just ridiculous. The shoulder press lockouts were from top of my head to lockout and the weight listed is the 180 on the bar and the 15 the bar is calibrated to weigh.

Here is yesterday's workout. I pushed pretty hard but my shoulder was a little inflamed from the smith machine lockouts. I had the seat to far forward and it created an impingement in my joint. Inflammation has already gone down most of the way but it was sucking that day. Good thing tomorrow is a lighter day. It all works out...

Nice deads. I'm sure your CNS was taxed and it felt good to pull that heavy.

I love how you keep up with your workouts. It probably makes it so much easier to push forwards. Pics FTFW

I had a pretty good workout today, I changed from BB Incline Bench to Hammer Strength Incline to get a better contraction in the pecs, was huge difference regarding pump. I also ended up changing the Scott Press to the Arnold Press, I needed more front delt work. I look leaner for sure right now, scale weight is back down to 204 again and everything looks tighter than a couple weeks ago at 204.

I just noticed I wrote BW+25 on my dips when it was BW+45...

Yeah, those felt great and I have not done them in a while. I am hoping the numbers will get even better once my CNS is up to specs with the movement again. All of this added volume with the extra workout day has been an adjustment to me but I am getting used to it.

I plan to take some pics this weekend. I definitely need to manscape first. The tone, and shape of my muscle has changed, the fat under my pecs is getting less and less. I am getting more vascular and the extra work on the shoulders and arms seems to have those areas responding to the extra stimulus. Of course it could just be that they are leaner so they look better. I am nowhere near you or Rick, but I will get there, and you can be sure that when I do I will be sporting an impressive physique.

Kleen - that you in the avatar? Post #82 and the Avatar - SICK difference. If so, mad props man.

Excellent update Kleen, looking forward to the progress pics. Ill have some up Monday as well. I probably wont look like Rick either, but one day...one day! Damn you Rick...Damn you hahaha ( kidding Rick is the man very inspirational!)

Awesome layout of the workouts here. And I'm diggin that quote for Fat Free. Its been a while since I've seen someone use time for max reps as a consistent part of their workout. It will get you pumped and shredded!

Thanks, It is me but it is an older picture from 2009, I put it up to motivate me and remind me what I can do when I stick to my guns and do what I know works for me. I have pretty much kept my abs from then through this past summer but I fell prey to some injuries and the holiday season and let myself climb the highest bf I have been since.

Thanks! I am looking forward to the progress pics too because I can see changes, I have hit the part of this where a lb of fat loss makes a noticeable difference in my appearance. I am by no means cut but am obviously leaner than my last pictures in my opinion. We will see just how much leaner in the pics this weekend.

Yeah I am really liking them, it is a nice push and a great change up to my drop sets. Allows me to blast my muscles without blasting my tendons, same with the FST-7 sets on the Sunday Arms and Shoulders. I actually have some plans to do some stuff like that for my main lifts but like 5 minutes and a little heavier weights but have that be the only work set and exercise for that body part. Probably machine based for safety purposes.

I find it another perspective to getting numbers and PR's. Looking for the pics!!

Hahaha....that avi is badass! Looks like some sh1t that belongs on front of an action movie poster!

Cardio Day - walked interval hill setting 45 minutes 438 calories, 3 sets of 15 weighted abs at 100, 120, & 120lbs, 2 sets of 50 crunches, 1 set of 25 oblique crunches per side.

I was getting dressed this morning and put on a shirt that normally fits comfortably but a bit on the looser side. Well I was filling it out more across the shoulders and arms. I picked my arm up to see how far the sleeve slid up my arm to see if I should wear it and I had veins spider webbing all across the inside of my biceps and triceps like 12 of them. Granted lighting was perfect and all at that moment but it still was a nice thing to see. My abs are not in yet but I am slimming down the most obvious progress is in my extremities, but as far as the core goes, my obliques and serratus are improving quickly and so are the fat pockets under my pecs.

Hahaha....that avi is badass! Looks like some sh1t that belongs on front of an action movie poster!
Thanks Rick!
In for this. Get it done! Good start so far
Thanks Muscle Gauge!
Gracias Sir, I will be a little bigger when i get down low body fat this time around too.

I am going to get the wife to do some of mne... she does this kind of stuff all the time...

Very cool, the MSPaint.net is a free download and can do all kinds of things. My son showed me how to do it pretty quickly and showed me how much there was on youtube showing you how to do things. So it was actually pretty easy to lean and fun to play with. The best one I did so far was the one I did of my wife for her Pro-Xanthine & ALC+CLA log.

We are almost progressing at the same rate there brotha. You may be a couple weeks ahead of me, but I am experiencing a lot of the same things. Veins back in the extremities, abs and serratus starting to peek a bit. I am still holding a decent amount of fat, but definitely progressing. Not too shabby I must say for only 11 day in.

If you have time and wouldn't mind posting a large scale of that AVI that would be sweet. I'd like to see some of the work you did at a larger size. Very cool though.

Please forgive the temporary derailing of the thread....

My bottle arrived yesterday.

I took ONE to feel things out.

Nice mood elevation and MILD appetite suppression.

Only lasted about 3-4 hours TOPS

It's probably worthy of noting I am a stim junkie.

Back OT.....

YO Kleen: How many are you taking at a time AND how many doses per day?

If I wasn't going to Hawaii I would jump into a show for June. You got me amped. I have Fat Free and Lean Xtreme staring me in the face sayin "you know you wanna be peeled like a banana."
