so can you give some product reviews so far? how you feel its affecting you in strength, weight, recovery, sleep...etc?

2 week review (1-10)

Strength feels up I would say about a 7. Good solid improvement.
Weight- has been right around the same if not lower. So a nice recomp effect.
Recovery- 8 only time it wasnt good was when I started and was doing very high volume. I think that had a lot to do with me coming off a low volume workout before this.
Sleep- 8 I have good sleep when I allow myself enough time. Really makes it hard to get up though. Feel myself craving more sleep when I wake up.
Libido- 10 it has been kicking strong. Only a few times have I be disinterested. Most of the time I am just raging.
Mood-7 mostly good but sometimes pretty bad. Kind of a harsh swing. Was feeling really high. Lately been a bit low though.

So last night turned out pretty well. Had a family game night. Was a lot of fun. Got to chatting with this girl I hadnt talked to in a while. Had seen her at church a few sundays ago. Started talking about games and she invited me to her next game night haha. Told her sweet dreams and apparently she took that to heart. She texted me today and said she had a dream about me. That I was her NYE kiss. To say the least I am smiling a little bit today.

Well either she is recruiting me as a bodyguard or she is interested haha. Apparently she has "stalkers" and it sounds like atleast 1 will be there New Years. Oh ya and she invited me to a New Years gathering. Plus she is asking a lot of questions. She is a pretty girl and seems to have a fairly good head on her shoulders. Will be interesting to see how tomorrow night goes. Also have to talk to my sister still about dipping out at the New Years thing at our church.

Incline smith press RP
Incline DB flyes RP
Cable flyes 7 sets short rest

Upright row RP
Lateral raise superset with BB shrugs no rest except to walk back and forth

Also weight was 244 with everything on. So probably 242 maybe even 241.
 
Ya so the talk with my sister went about how I expected. She is pissed off and said thats ****ed up. Now I dont even want to go with her at all, but my parents want me to go to be supportive. I dont see this ended up well at all.

My sister calmed down or atleast her text messages seemed calm. Apparently she is ok with the idea of me only going part time now.

Just got off the phone with me and she apologized for flipping out. She was hurt but admits she went overboard. We patched things up and I am going to the church thing with her. Then later I will go meet up with the girl and her friends.

Haha ended up only taking 2. Figured 3 would have been a bit much. This was our first time hanging out and by the time we were alone we were both REALLY drunk. I had just thrown up off the porch. Later she threw up in her sleep. So I am kind of glad we didnt share a couch now haha.

Man I think I did great. Showed her attention but wasnt all over her. Made sure I was entertaining. I think I succeeded there because her friends seemed to like me. Which apparently is a good thing and she said she was impressed I could hang in there with her friends. So I guess all the times I hung out with my sister and her friends paid off haha. Texted her today to check on her because she definitely seemed like she felt it in the morning. Might wait a few days and ask her on a real date.

Ya I still have some more left to run. I think my weight was finally under 240 again. Checked it on New Years Eve. Now I am not so sure after last nights drinking and tonights dinner. Had basically another holiday meal and plan on getting some leftovers in a little bit.

If you want to hear about my NYE let me know. I will go ahead and say it involved fireworks, the ball dropping, Ring of Fire, 2 girls kissing over my lap, learning a hell of a lot about some people I didnt know, and throw up.

Went and did some HIIT today. Legs got so pumped up. Then I messed around a little on bench. 275 felt a little heavier than I would like to admit. Did hit chest a bit on New Years Eve but shouldnt have been too sore. I can still feel the soreness though.

Tomorrow I will do my first PHAT day. Will be lower body power. Here is what it will most likely look like.

Squats: 3 sets of 3-5 reps
Hack squats: 2 sets of 6-10 reps
Leg ext: 2 sets of 6-10 reps

Stiff leg deadlifts 3 sets of 5-8 reps
Glute ham raise 2 sets of 6-10 reps

Standing calf raise 3 sets of 6-10 reps
Seated calf raise 2 sets of 6-10 reps
 
If she is extra difficult, hold her down and cover her mouth.

Ya just started today. I swear I cant stick to one routine. Hopefully this one sticks. Supposed to be a rough few weeks at the beginning.

Lower body power

Squats: 405*4,5,4 Felt like it had more to do with the bar feeling off. Just couldnt get it in the right spot today.

Hack squat: 360*10,10 This plus squats really took a toll on me.

Leg ext: 100*10 Had to spot and take a break. Propped my feet up and covered my head up with my jacket. Took a while but felt good to go again. 100*10

Stiff leg deadlifts: 315*8,8,8

Glute ham raise: 8,8 Felt like my nuts were going to pop. Also hammies were screaming. If this wasnt so uncomfortable I would make this must do.

Standing calf raise: 90*10,10,10

Seated calf raise: 90*10,10

Was a great workout felt real pumped up to workout. Squats stole that from me. After hack squats it was just about finishing. The pep in my step was gone and it was a WORK out. Idk how my legs havent locked up on me. Guess my hammies took an equal beating and wont allow the quads to cramp up. Only took 1 scoop of Hemavol since today wasnt really a pump day.

Slept great last night. Used my CPAP machine and got about 6 hours or so. Felt like I had woke up from a dream but I had not recollection of it.

Had some subtle confidence today. Might be able to give some credit to Intimidate. Some has to go to what happened. Does seem ole girl is interested in Tomahawk. Oh and she nicknamed me Tomahawk haha. Do have to say memory is somewhat keen lately. Feels like I can recall conversations with her well. Saved my butt before New Years Eve probably. Plus creative juices flowing. Helped promote her small business a little hopefully it wasnt too much. My big flaw is I get invested too quickly.

Ya just asked her out on a date. She said she already had plans with someone so she will check on when that will be then let me know. She did sound interested though. I have an idea of what I have planned. Kind of freaked her out when I told her I wanted to talk on the phone haha. She was afraid it was something serious. But I wanted to be somewhat of a gentleman and atleast ask her out on the phone but via text or IM. A point was given haha.


Today is back and shoulders. Going to go hit it up now.

Rack chins: BW*12,10,8 I honestly really like these. They worked suprisingly well.

Seated cable row: 150*11,11,11

Braced incline shrugs: 50*12,12 Was just plain uncomfortable.

Vbar lat pulldowns: 100*20,20

Seated DB press: 50*12,60*12,70*10

Upright rows: 50*15,60*15

Side lateral raise (bent forward and brought back more) 15*20,20,20
 
I always over looked rack chins. I'm glad I gave em a shot! I really liked them too.

The only time we have talked on the phone is today. The rest has been texts and facebook. Just felt like I should talk to her on the phone for that. Like I said I think she was pleasantly surprised by it. She thought something was wrong, but then when I told her why I was calling she sounded relieved and excited.

Do you foam roll at all bud? That would help yor legs out a ton if its muscle related. Best thing ive started to do since incorporate stretching into my routine.

I got VERY lucky with my wife... when we met 3 years ago I didnt even plan on doing anything the night I met her, n she comes strollin in my front door with about 4 other hotties and my ex bother-in-law.... we started talking and hit it off right away n I was so drawn to her and feelin it that I kissed her the first night I met her right before she left.... I think it was JUST enough to lock it in and we were basically inseparable ever since...

Coulda totally gone the other way and got slapped or just turned her off from some guy just comin on too strong, but I could tell she was into me as well and decided to risk it. Best risk I ever took.

Leg press: 270*15,15,15 (Was only supposed to be 2 sets. When I realized that I was pissed haha)

Leg ext: 100*20,17,15

Romanian deadlift: 135*12,12,12 (didnt even feel like putting weight on the bar haha)

Lying leg curls: 100*13,12

Seated leg curls: 45*20,20

Seated calf raise: 100 total reps with 45

Donkey calf raise: 300*11,10,10,10

Took the last of my Intimidate last night. Will wait till tomorrow to give a review. This workout took it out of me bad. I was almost falling down.

I have been doing PHAT on and off for 3 years. Vaughn and I did it consistently for about 3-4 months. Our gains were impeccable once our bodies adapted. It was retarded. Seriously.

Ya man I am really liking it. I felt like death after the quad portion, but then got a nice 2nd wind. Finished it off pretty dang strong.

I have been doing PHAT on and off for 3 years. Vaughn and I did it consistently for about 3-4 months. Our gains were impeccable once our bodies adapted. It was retarded. Seriously.

Well I cant wait till my body adapts and GROWS. Should have a new workout partner by the time I am getting into the groove of PHAT.

Alright so here is the situation. Idk what to do tonight. The girl said she wont be able to anything tonight. I was invited to a party, but I am not so sure who is going to be there. The girls could be suspect, and there is a very good chance if I drink tonight it will end ugly. Then again I could have fun. Also the part of me that is growing up thinks I should go to church tomorrow. Especially since I didnt go last week.
 
Alright going to go ahead and warn you it doesnt look like I will be giving my review today. Pretty much will be go go go today. Have to finish cleaning my car. Hit the gym and all that comes with that. Then I am going to the party.
