Mattrag's Rubs to Riches with Need 2Build Muscle's Transaderm (Sponsored)

Either ultradrol or Epi-strong would be nice, though I don't know a lot about the ultra. Epi-strong however, is my drug of choice!:sgrin:

Hope you get your PCT sh1t man!

Hehe, yea the PCT is the main thing. Once that is in... my next cycle will be planned ;)
You advice staying off all hormonals for cycle+pct even for RST?

If you were 16 years old pulling 5 plates, then you're uncommonly strong.

Yea CL is strong! @_@

I think that guy in the "Roman Deadlifts" video is named Roman and he named his version of the deadlift because he performs a traditional concetric movment, but uses a SLDL for the eccentric portion, thus, the "Roman Deadlift." I think it's just easier to call deads coventional or SLDL or "Romans" I guess if you decide to combine the two.

I always read that romanian deadlifts were to help with the 2nd "pull" on cleans. And SLDL were to help with stabilizing the dead lift. But Im really new to all this "Beyond body building" type weight lifting. I mean I used to only lift to look good... now I am lifting to be strong as can be and look like it lol.

The link up in post 89 has the link to my vid, I do believe. And thats just 1RM, I could only rep 7-8 plates. Now not so much haha. Plus I deadlifted for about 18 months once every 1-2 weeks among my other back and leg exercises, alternating with squats, hack squats, leg press, etc and trained for strength. Plus alot of good eating. It was slow but that was my peak.

and I agree, the guy in the video himself said he changed the name from spartan to roman or something, so not romanian at all.

Yea I think he said that in his video. His old coach called it spartan deads, but he's changing it to roman deads for his clients.

Wow, PRs. Mis calculated the bent over rows. Im pretty sure the Military press top set is a PR but Im not 100% sure. My top end strength is very odd. I can handle loads of reps but not generate a lot of force.

another 2 PR's man...bustin balls man!!! keep it going bruva

Everything is good now.

I got back into town and was at the gym within an hour. I tried my hardest to put a hurting on it!!!

Good job man!! Glad to hear it's all good.

Man I wanna lift today but... I should really rest. I might be taking my workouts a bit further lol. Bump in cals. I need to get my damn strength back!

I don't think you need to follow the cycle + PCT equals time off rule for Transaderm. Its pretty mild and dont affect your body the same. I wouldnt hesitate to jump on a cycle after a month off of it

Nice job on the front squat PR. I've probably asked this before, but are you doing them cross arm or Cleans grip?

Nice job on the rows dude, those are mean!

and front squats remind me of my good ole football coach making me and my buddy do hangclean-press-squats together for 3 sets of 10 with 115. that was a beast workout.

Killer rows man!!!

Gotta get the back HUGE! haha.
I love rowing.

Sounds good ;)
Ill keep that in mind

BTW...nice job on the PRs

haha, yea always feels good to make progress. Specially when ive been trying to get back after being down.

Nice job on the front squat PR. I've probably asked this before, but are you doing them cross arm or Cleans grip?
Man I wish I could do them with the clean grip. Im working flexibility now. But in the mean time the hands cross over the top of the bar style is the only way I can actually do squats of any kind now (well I could do zerchers....)

Ah, good conditioning. When I do my 6X6 circuit it usually has a mix of those in it. lol

135x5
185x5

35x8

Good workout. No PRs but a good workout to get me back on track on my conventional deads.

nice dude. I was doing deads yesterday, just regular form no SLDL, and today my legs feel like I got stabbed. I think I iratated my hamstring tear. lol. and trust me dude having no spotter really hurts. I got from doing 205 for 8 just messing around with my buddy, to pushing 185 for 7-10. I mean my bench is weak now dude to 10 weeks off, but dang I shouldnt be that weak.

Solid workout brother, and sorry you pulled your back. Hopefully nothing serious and it will recover quickly.

Solid WO Mat. Sorry to read about your back, but I'm sure you'll have it G2G for next week. That 5th rep won't stand a fugging chance. Kill that sh!t!!!

i meant my injuly from July. I pulled it on the second rep on this weight and exercise on rep 2 lol. My back is fine, just mentally i got that whole scenario stuck in my head... I couldnt walk for 2 days. I couldnt sit for a week. driving was SOO hard.. getting in and out of the car sucked for about 4 weeks...

spotter is needed for anything over body weight I think. Just a preference maybe.. But I need it anything above 195ish. Man, I wish I could drop my deads... I lift at home so I have to kinda SLDL them down so I dont drop a hole in my floor...

Torn hammy... damn... haha.

Go with the three finger off hand Cleans grip, bro! The flexibility and confidence to stabilize a weight from an open grip (for cleans) starts with the front squat!

Yea. Did some bar drills last night.

Gotta work on having my shoulder open up so I can back squat again...

Hey Brother, thought I'd drop in on your thread and see what you're up to. I used to get a back kink about every 3 or four months. I started doing hyperextensions and roman chair crunches and knock on wood I've been pain freee in the back area. It used to get so bad I couldn't move at all.

Nice Work Outs, your killin' it. I am a big fan of the row too I've backed off a little since I tore my left bicep off the bone two years ago. I still row close to 300 on occasion but not often concentrate more on form. Keep hittin' hard bro

Thanks for checking out my thread man!
I read about your torn bicep.. DUDE... thats not good at all. Still hoping to run ursobolic sometime in the near future. Joint Force is something I want to run ASAP though... haha. Elbow, shoulder and wrist all could use some extra help.. 300+ rows for reps is crazy though....

Haha I don't drop them, just go in like a negative deadlift rep. its controlled. sometimes I will even stop 1-2 inches from floor and go back up. depends if I am feelin good in the back or not which form I use. haha.

but yeah ik how you feel about reinjuring. Thats why I dont skull crush anymore. afraid of hurting something again.

Haha and I am with ya on the sittin and getting into cars stuff. When I messed up my back with the destroyed SI joint and inflamed nerve, I just laid for like 3 days til I could finally walk. Trying to drive to school and stuff.... Well I drive a Jeep wrangler lifted 5 inches on 33 inch tires. Its difficult to get into as it is, but trying to hop up in with my effed up back? yeahhh....

and yes the hammy was one of the suckiest injuries ever. Usually its okay though. I have my sleeve that I wear when it really bothers me and almost all heavy leg days just because its a little weaker.

Hit a speed day today.

Bench press

135X5x3

135X5x3

135X5x3

These were done with 15s rest between the grouping. A 3 min rest, then another "burst".

135X3

WU for sumo deads

225x3
225x3

This was more for speed work and to keep my wide stance strong.

BW pull ups

x5 Ledge grip
x5 Wide grip
x5
x5
x5
x5

Leg raises

3x8

Good nice easy workout. mostly to get my body moving... its reallly cold. Tomorrow I will attempt to hit a new PR on the row, front squat, and shoulder press. ;)

Noticed something REALLY weird today. DUring class I had an actual anxiety attack. First time I EVER thought... ho craps I donno what I am supposed to do, what do I say? It took me about 3mins to recover, Luckily I was able to give them something to do while I recovered or Id have been toast. Donno if my hormones are going outta whack... or just getting swamped with more stress... ? Im not really that stressed out though.... I donno lol. Hopefully I dont get an episode like that again... I have NEVER freaked out b4...

Matt take a look at your supplements. Especially since you train fasted. Maybe there is something going on there. What all are taking right now?

the whole list?

Hmm...

alcar
ala
b vit
c vit
d vit
magnesium oil
transaderm
super enzymes
zma

Oh and BCAAs, L glut, creatine, beta alanine, LCLT. Thats all Im taking now...

ah the White Flood Pre workout.

I don't know the specifics of your diet, but sometimes going hypo could give you anxiety or maybe you're just genuinely stressed. It happens. Anything particularly stressful going on?

If your like me then you feel like that a few times a day^

Hope you don't have anymore experiences with it.

Are you going low Carb or Keto right now? If so that could be contributing to it

Nothing in particular, but i've been doing low carb for so long that I figure i'd be used to it already. Well I have always had the same amount of stress. The normal work, life... but then again... it's getting DAMN cold and my Hawaii boy body is in shock... for real... I wanna buy some shift or some 3,3/3,5 dii product to boost up my body's heat... It SUX0rs being so cold.... and it's not even legitimately winter here yet... not till Jan/feb does it snow... by then... I might be dead...

I've always noticed hypo, I did the UD2 (cyclical carb) for like 10 weeks before. That was some mean swinging in blood sugar.
never had an anxiety attack though.

Currently the diet is somewhat low carb on rest days, and moderate carb on work days. Though my moderate carb count comes in just around 200g, while lower is around 100g. On work days my total calories is higher though.

could be the apple I had on the way to work... Had the apple at 820am (after my morning workout with my BCAA mix), had lunch at 12, had the episode around 145? Thats a long time to have a refractory period. The lunch was a mixed meal, roughly 20g fat, 60g carbs, 80g protein.

I was thinking though that it actually MIGHT be the EggPlant. Eggplants are nightshade family. They were used as poisons before they were cultivated to be edible. Some of the lectins still remain so some ppl have adverse reactions to them. I ate about 1.5 egg plant veggies and actually felt REALLY bad. So I'm thinking it could be related to that as there is much research linking the gut to the brain. So a small gut to brain disruption due to the ingestion of that could be the reason. More to come later.... now to post my workout~ Went well IMO ;)

Workout 3 (new triple max day)

Some bar cleans, bw squats, for warm up

Front squat
barx10
95x5
105x5
115x5
125x5
145x3 (PR)
115x8

OH press

95x5
115x5
135x5
145x2 (felt my joints kinda hurt so I figured I'd just quickly rest up and hit the triple set, which is the goal of the program)
165x1 (Oh snaps man... I need lower increments in weights. Only having 5lb plates... sux. Should've been only a 3-4lb increase because every week i'm supposed to up the weight by 2.5%.. I actually got one rep up, then the right side, which is weaker on presses oddly, gave out. Dropped the 10lb, and 5lb weight on the right side due to the tilt. Scared me sh!tless. I followed up with ....
135x8

Bent over rows

135x10
185x5
205x5
225x5
245x5
275x3 (PR)
225x8

Barbell curls/face pulls/tricep bands

65x8/8/8
65x8/8/8
65x8/8/8

Good workout. Cept the almost giving myself a new escape route out of my house.... I'll be using my clamps from now on lol.

Could be stress build up now that I think about it. My overall class load has almost doubled due to now having 2 schools, also everyday after school I have debate contest practice, I also have to do all the evidence research for the team... AND still continue my day to day activities of cooking etc. I'm seriously thinking of just doing a shake based diet cause eating and cooking have become hard. So I guess like volcom stated i'm just extra stressed... perhaps my cortisol is REALLY high? And I'm just too stubborn to admit it?

My God your strength is impressive. I love the weight on the bent over rows pr!!!! You can tell your strength is moving up.

haha! Thanks!!
I think I can milk this program for another couple weeks. Till my front squat hits BW or so I should be able to stick to this.

Transaderm helps with recovery i am sure. I just need to control my cortisol so I can get more pregnelone and DHEA to my testosterone cascade...

BB Rows are impressive brudda!

Rows and pull ups are my favorite exercise lol.
I need a good weight belt... So I can do some weighted pull ups and ... if I can make some kinda dip thing, dips too.

A close second would be deads and squats.

Dang Matt. Your juicing aren't you. lol Dang Japanese food must be doing something good for you cause those BB Rows are sick.

I wish I was juicing... transaderm is all I'm taking... haha. and that other list I gave you earlier on the previous page...

Haha damn man good call on the clamps..
Seriously jealous of the weight your pullin on those rows. Keep up the good work!

Well your killing it. Loving the pr's you have been hitting. And the amount of weight your using is crazy.

Well to make things relative.. my first Hdrol cycle I took to 6 weeks. On week 6 I squated 395. Before that my squat was 225X1 for like half a squat. Then by the 6th week I was hitting 315 for reps going to parrallel and 395 for a 1 RM before that.... I miss my strength so much... Thats one thing my muscles have not been able to remember... my muscles in my legs must have amnesia lol.

Great log and wicked strength man!

Yea I think the transdermal DHEA is definitely converting into muscle building down stream hormones. Only estrogen sides I get it the water, but that might simply be from running a transdermal product? I have no idea lol. Strength gains are good, no nipple sensitivity. Thought I had some eariler in the run but it was most likely due to the sudden change in weather. Cold nips... lol.

I'm getting a lot of the same effects from it. Nice strength increases and muscle fullness. I'm loving the Transaderm right now!

yea loving it!! haha

You seen Kleens new contest eh? CHallenge accepted bro. Im gonna see how good I can cut. After the 4th week of transaderm Im stacking AH v2 on top of this at 9 caps a day. and adding a fat burner (havent decided which one yet, I hear AH v2 shouldnt be taken with 3,3/3,5 Im gonna talk to a rep about why later), and maybe if my ursobolic comes in Im gonna try stack that too... haha. Im going to have a MEAN cut. so this 4 weeker of transa has evolved into a transa > transa + cut/hardening stack!! Pics to come soon.... as soon as I get that damn razor in...
