PHAT journey continues with an AI Piñata (more products than u can shake a stick at)

You going to log is Gary? Funny thing is that chocolate CS is not great in the flavor dept at all... However, it will be like heaven compared to the first week of the Derm and T-Bol!!!!! You get accustomed to them all and I do not mind any of them anymore!

Kick it in the teeth Gary!

I got use to the choc CS and sort of grows on you.:lmao:

Looks like everyone has already got you covered. Can't wait to see this run, might be a good idea to try a run of Bridge right after PCT. Will keep everything going strong in between your next stack. Hmmmm Bridge and TestoPro... I may have to do that one myself... :)

Kleen, so do the run as planned run testopro as a bridge after PCT and then run again?

Some bad news this week, but not catastrophic... Monday nights' TKD, got awarded my next belt (good) injured right hand (bad)

We were sparring against kick shields without any protective gear, not usually a problem BUT my sparring partner decided to twist away from me during a combo! Result I punched his elbow and nearly broke my hand!!! Has been swollen and very tender all week, grip strength almost non-existent!

Anyway waiting for my CS to arrive so no biggie and hand not broken, so don't think it will cause an issue with proposed cycle, will now run CS for full two weeks before starting, wish the post would hurry - mail sucks right now! Might order some other stuff from NP and bet you it arrives before my local order!

I will log guys, I'll probably log a week at a time, and small updates during the week (work permitting)

P.S. Thanks for input chaps

Sorry about the hand man! But huge congradulations on the belt "upgrade"... Get that hand sorted out and do your thing. What flavor of CS did you end up picking?

been a while my friend sorry to gear about the hand i hope if gets fixed up real soon

Looking forward to it. Take it easy bro.

Helloooo... Still here, time to kick it! CS starts tomorrow (have orange flavour) along with liver juice and I'm going to take some erase & AT2 for at least two week pre-cycle period. I've also signed up for the London Marathon 2012 and no I'm not a runner so that's going to be interesting!! First run starts tomorrow, going to have to work out my training programme since it will be tight, need to get back to gym, go to TKD and fit in three runs a week and my ludicrously busy job. I'm going to be using Runkeeper Elite for iPhone to track my initially pathetic but hopefully improving run stats, and downloaded the marathon trainer for beginners....

It's going to get very real, very quick, will also weigh in at some point this weekend to assess the damage of 6 mths hell at work (not that I see it improving mind you, just need to find the balance!)

To my goals guys, it's on!

Good to hear from you.
What is your cycle going to consist of??

PP turinbol muscle stack including dermacrime, including TRS for PCT (12 weeks).

I have a whole heap of PES gear lying around which I'll probably save until PCT (but may use), with TCF 1 and straight back into my AI piñata

You don't see many using the turinbol stack to cut, but it should be possible from what I have read... At least I won't be worried about losing pounds during PCT!!!

Did 3.58 miles today at 10.40 pace, not bad I think but very knackered

Did I mention I'm going to try and do it my vibrams? Trying to see if I can avoid injury!!

Ok - Orange CS, not too bad, not too bad at all! On the other hand, liver juice, yuk! Not keen at all, god only knows what the T/Bol and derma are going to be like... Hoping for a 4 miler tomorrow!

Will be watching this log to see how the tbol treats you. I was going to run tbol with ahv1 but bought pp's lean/hard stack and I'm going to run that first then pct then a break then on to the tbol ahv1 stack.

Welcome back, and G can Iinvite you to a log that may change your dietary strategy for good and have you enjoying your diet while cutting.

Lean Gains lovers, or those who want to check into it. I started a thread in the Nutrition section that we can all kind of uses as a sounding board and resource pool on Anabolic Minds.

Welcome back. I agree the orange CS is a big improvement.

Hey guys, well managed 3x4 mile runs last week, still taking my LJ and CS - found a way to swallow the LJ without tasting it which is good news!

Another run tomorrow and hoping to make it to TKD tomorrow, evening... Going to stop by Kleen's log (thx for the invite mate :fing02:)

Work/hell formula continues, which continues to have a severe impact on both my training and sleep.

I have now additionally signed up for a half Marathon in september, running for charity Invalid Link Removed

As you can see (pardon the pun!) I will raising money for Guide Dogs UK

I would like to raise as much money and awareness that I can, feel free to contribute but I know you guys will give me what money can't buy... and that's support!

I may threaten to open a separate log as ever, but may wait until I start the cycle

Running is so foreign to me, I really hope it gets easier soon!

Man you gotta try Lean Gains...

Need to spend an afternoon at the weekend reading it start to finish and then see how to factor into family life, but I think it might work for me... Fasting is much easier for me than trying to eat every couple of hours!!

I wish

Nearly a week into cycle, no side effects, so far so good... Have added extra taurine and krill oil to support supps.

TKD going really good, seem to have a lot of focus, only downside is I seem to have increased muscular tightness... Running on the other hand is going sh!t

Have been reading up on CFE, crossfit endurance as another way of getting marathon ready, without the long runs but also without losing the muscle mass that is so typical for runners!

Hoping to have an appointment with a personal trainer who is also a competitive triathlete next week who uses this himself and to train other triathletes, will keep u posted on that

Good stuff man keep at it!

...and then...???

.... I die, ok well not yet, but possibly this week! Have a few days off work, and instead of lying in bed I will starting my CFE assessment programme! The PT will be drilling me three mornings in a row, assessing my baseline on running, strength and endurance, followed by a tailored programme to follow for the next few months until d-day

Interesting article here on Brian Mac the CFE founder and example training programme Invalid Link Removed

My PT is a endurance athlete and receives coaching from the man himself, so it should be interesting if nothing else!

My training will consist of a few interval running sessions per week, a couple of weight sessions aimed at strength (high weight big moves low reps), a time trail and numerous crossfit type sessions ( although I expect my TKD to count towards s few of those)

Pretty excited and fking terrified all at the same time, I reckon though based on what I have read about CFE that if I can hack it, and keep pace, I should be in the best shape of my life by the end of the programme.

Since I won't be at work I'll try and update at the end of each day's training this week

Nearly end of second week of cycle, focus is sooo there! But on the sides front, upset stomach daily and an entire forest of WOOD!! sides at least I can deal with though, no significant headaches or any other nasties that I'd heard reported

CS and LIFE SUPPORT, treating me well as ever and HGHpro keeping the dreams lucid and sleep quality

Quite the update there.

Did you catch the UEFA Championship yesterday? I only saw the first half, but it looks like I caught most of the action.

Caught bits and pieces mate, but i think it's fair to say that MU were dominated well and truly... Great effort from them but not enough on the day

So... Two PT sessions in and what have I learnt?

1) I run like a flat footed caveman
2) I have a weakness in my abductors which shows in my running
3) swinging a kettelbell properly is harder than it looks
4) my martial arts has really benefitted me in the squatting dept, apparently my front squat form is very very good
5) my upper body strength, particularly back is pathetic, still can't do unassisted pull ups
6) I have some serious knots in my muscle tissue, which when using lacrosse balls (instead of a foam roller) hurts like hell to iron out!!
7) you can be truly exhausted in 4 minutes or less option a) 500m rowing & 20 front squat to overhead press & 10 box jumps to pull up and lower OR option b) 5 deadlifts 10 kettlebell swings 10 deadlifts 20 kettlebell swings

I have some drills for my running to change the way I run, so that I have less "vertical" motion, and use the ball of my foot instead of heel

I'm tired, I'm sore but it's great!!

I don't know what tomorrow will bring but I think intervals might be Friday, so I'm sure there will be some new and interesting way of making my life hell which immediately doesn't seem to relate to running.

ALSO coming up in future posts... I'm building my own TRX suspension training system (no way I'm giving them £150!) and looking to find some "things" in the garden that the missus won't immediately recognise as gym equipment... Thinking Jerry Cans from the army surplus store for farmers walk and general lifting, half oak barrel as a jump box, some landscaping logs/sleepers for high rep squats, deadlifts and overhead presses, might add some gymnastic rings to the tree... Lots if ideas!! Have already purchased a 44lb kettlebell and an over door pull bar. I already have resistance bands and an an roller

Still excited!!!

Excellent GWLS that training sounds amazing.

LOL at the flat footed caveman comment :toofunny:

I like your ideas you have for your training system that you're putting together. I used to a lot of stuff like that when I lived out in the middle of nowhere.

yah that's how I run.. and why I don't run anymore.... too hard on the knees and I always got shin splints.. ouch!!

I'm about the same. Just curious, do you have dogs? That's the only reason I walk, lol.

I'm about the same. Just curious, do you have dogs? That's the only reason I walk, lol.

I walk to and from work and the gym so that's about 5k each way... I had a dog but it was a pug and too slow to count as exercise...

So really busy week back at work, so far 3 hrs TKD and a pretty intense strength and cross fit session at the gym today ( 10 sets x 2 reps front squat, wasn't happy with the 132lbs personally but was knackered when i followed this with 5 circuits of 10x 110lb deadlifts and 10 box jumps)

Unfortunately missed 2 x interval sessions and 2 x Crossfit sessions BUT have another TKD session tomorrow am, might try and do another strength/crossfit session before then and perhaps my 100m sprint interval session in the afternoon - then I'll only be 1 day behind schedule. On Sunday I have a running time trail to complete.

Very exciting stuff, my gym rings arrived today, along with my measuring wheel (to turn my park into my personal running track) and I think I have all the bits to make my Suspension trainer now - also planning to make my own foam roller, camping mat and PVC pipe already salvaged, just need to assemble

So diet... Been trying lean gains for a couple of weeks but I'm not sure it's working for me but hard to say because if I just look at food on this cycle I seem to gain 5lbs!! There are days I think I look leaner and then the next the love handles look bigger than ever. I do wonder since my natural way to eat is very much along the lean gains schedule whether or not my body has adapted and therefore lean gains isn't a step change for my system? Anyway, I'm going to persist for a bit longer and see what happens

More later chaps

I have an old english bulldog but he's even lazier than me!! So walking (dragging him actually) doesn't as cardio but dragging a 112lb dog for a couple of miles each day must count as some sort of resistance training?!?

I have been thinking of an English bull for my next dog but may just go for a Beagle which is more energetic, there are some nice Pitbulls around too...

I raised pits for a while. Loved them. Awesome dogs but all of the home owners insurance crap around her makes it to expensive to have one anymore so after my female died 2 years ago i never got another.

Thanks. I'm on my laptop in bed and almost woke my wife up by literally laughing out loud

I have a Beagle/Chihuahua mix. It sounds like she would be an obnoxiously hyper dog, but she's actually really chill. She still points and trails, but has never howled nor bayed.

Man, I hate hearing that sort of stuff. I don't want to get everybody started, but these dogs get a bad rap. I do have reason to believe that dog fighting is very prominent around where I live though. Absolutely disgusting.

So today's workout, I'm exhausted!

10 sets of 5 reps Good Mornings @ 88lbs - each set completed in 30 secs with 30 secs rest

AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)
12 minutes

250m Row
12 Thrusters ( front squat to overhead press) @ 66lbs
16 Vsits

I only managed 3 rounds

Then 1 hr TaeKwonDo

This afternoon I've measured out 100m, 200m and 400m lengths of Tarmac at the park in prep for next weeks intervals

If only I could teach the lazy dog how to work the stopwatch! I might bring him along to carry the drinks, I'm sure he'll be quite happy to have a bit of a lie down while I sweat it out over my improvised track

You need to post a pic of your dog being lazy, lol.

Nice to see Good Mornings being utilized.

Obviously now going to look for better moments to capture the LD on camera, a new mission is born!

LOL. That's funny. He's pretty big. You're probably lucky he's not very active. I can only imagine how much food it takes to feed a dog that size that is active.

Raining outside, done my time trial for today in the rain, dragged the LD for a bit and now thinking what to have for lunch/dinner... Naturally the LD is doing what he does best !

So training this week so far...

Monday - 16 sets x 3 front squat on with set beginning on the minute - 66lbs & 2hrs martial arts

Tuesday - 3 circuits of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups & 15 squats for time (completed in 3:56) was supposed to then run 4 x 400 sprints BUT completed 1st in 1:31.69 and then pulled hamstring on second DISASTER!!! very sore, hobbled home and iced leg

Wednesday - hamstring still painful, but went to PT session anyway, spent a good 10mins with trainer doing his best to make me cry!

Then...

Push Press - practiced form and did supersets of push - press (in 5.5lb increments from 44lb until I couldn't complete a single rep anymore - maxed out at 126.5lbs) with concentric chins (think that's what they were called, chin over the bar hold for a 5 count, lower to just below bar hold for 5, lower completely and hang for another 5 before dropping to the floor)

Then kneeling cable row/pull- full arm extension (almost as if you were to dive into a pool) straight back, then pull back into chest in kneeling upright position and slowly release weight back to kneeling dive position, 12 reps 14 plates, 3 sets - supersetted with 12 reps Swiss ball back extensions.

Just for kicks ended on three circuits of 250m row followed by thrusters" 44lb 12 reps in 5 minutes - tonight gentlemen I am truly toast!!!

More to come, the rest of the week doesn't get much less intense!
