I used to do that crap all time; racking the weight before the negative movement just because I hated having to pick it up again, but then I learned the plate trick. You guys may know about it, but just roll the plates onto a 2.5lber and you can take them off real easily right from the ground.![]()
An older powerlifter back in California showed me that. I wanted to hug him for his genius.
