AZ(or anyone Dc'ng for a while) Did you notice a difference in your physique(and your sons) as far as density/thickness are concerned?
 
I try and shop TP for my protein all the time now. Next purchase will be some of the beef isolate. Not the liquid beef aminos, those are too pricey for me even :)

Yup! I wanna try that beef protein isolate.

Grab an lb or two of pepto pro, seriously. It is expensive, but you only use 5-10g at a time. It is awesome intra/post workout. Just get it unflavored, as it is flavorless, and dissolves in anything(ie xtend:))

Ya, i noticed a big increase myself..

lol..not that involved, just made some things he liked, and he wanted to use them.. Also made a couple advertisements for true protein, he uses on some other boards.

Pepto is good stuff indeed. It is pricey but you dont use much at all. Since my only supps are protein/bcaa, i just count it into my "food budget" .lol

I would say that I deffinitely filled out more with DC. My legs really grew from the routine.

I use True Protein as well. My intra/post protein is the Hydrolyzed Whey High Grade. It is slightly bitter but I can handle it.
 
have I mentioned i'm starting to get (slightly) raised veins going from delts to pecs? I might try and take some PWO pics tomorrow :)
 
I really hope I can get that vein one day. I can see it but it doesnt come out..prob have to drop some more bf first :dunno: right now Im just gonna get hyuge tho :D

Yes, it's an EAA supplement that is a decent profile and price.
 
Vassive isn't bad, tried it first when it came out, as the twin pack stack, Vassive N.O. and Vassive CE. Liked it and got results, but I've since moved on. Would do it again, jsut for old times sake. They replaced the CE version with C5 I believe.
 
I can't believe what I did on the hammer shoulder press today... I had 75lbs of plates per side on it, and the machine itself is 10lbs/side

so 170lbs?

Yes, I use Vassive ve8 right now. I dig the stuff and like AZ said it is decently priced. Next month I'll look into getting some LG sciences EAA+BCAA stuff since its so cheap and add some pepto in. :head:

BTW DOMS are nutz in my lats today!!! My favvvvorite kind of DOMS!!
 
yeah, maybe i'll go take some pics and start a general log. nobody has seen me since partway thru my The ONE log bag in feb when we misplaced the nice camera

Could be how you are contracting it as well. Looks like you are flexing "better" on you right side.

Good job easy! What sort of rep range did you get that for?

I need to get some sort of extender made/bought, as i am right bout to max out my gyms hammer strength incline. It holds 4 plates, and i am on 3 plates and a quarter on each side, and in the 20rp range already.:sad3:
 
I think it's what Imprez said. It looks like your right shouder is pulled back further than the left side. Looking good Met!
 
I think it's nothing to worry about. I've got symmetry issues myself. Who cares?! Mostly everyone deals with it. You can fix your form and make sure you're lifting correctly, but beyond that, it's just how it's going to grow.

Looking thick, Met! That side shot makes you look pretty solid man.

I swear my back is asymmetrical too. But in reality, it is probably just an issue of being able to "engage" the muscle when you flex it. It doesn't look like your left side is really flexing. Remember when flexing your back to roll your shoulders back, which should bring your "wings" out.
 
BTW, squeeze the everliving sh*t out of your grip when you flex.
 
Thanks for comps bros! Yeah Im not THAT worried about the asymmetry. But I have been working my scap out every gym session. So that may have something to do with it. Ill just keep doing what Im doing.

G, Ill remember to roll my shoulders back next time. See if that makes a difference.

Had a sweet workout today!!

1. warmed up scap and hips
2. Ez bar curls - working: 100x10-6-5=21 (+3 reps) I really struggled to beat reps but I did it.
3. Seated hammers- 50x14 (+2 reps)
4. stretch for 45 secs
5. Seated calve raises - working: 135x12..I love the burn!!!
6. Stretch 60 secs each calve
7. Good mornings - up 10 lbs from last time; last set: 125x8; gettin close to doin GM with 135 on my back!
8. Squats - warmed up weights, then 195x10! (up 4 reps), loaded 205 on the bar and knocked out 7 more! :head: :head: now I know this is light weight to you guys but I just recently started real squats (like 4 months ago) and the weight has been climbing each sess! I hit my squat goal! Now its time to surpass that! Widowed 160...I literally fell to the ground after I re racked the weight! Was INNTENSE!!
9. Then did ham and quad stretches. Im liking doing the leg stretches after I do the exercises for hams and quads. I feel like I can do more reps/weight this way.
 
Im feeling a little burnt out. Dont get me wrong! I am still making progress every session but I feel beat! Im only into my 4th week of DC..so I know its not time to cruise...I just need to take these 2 days and rest and eat up! :D

Hey bro, you doing the rest pause, extreme stretching and 6-8 seconds on the negative portion of the movement?

The rest pause and stretches are a major part of DC..so, yes. I dont do any kind of slow negs except on calves..which are 15 second holds at bottom and 5 second neg, explode up. Any other questions feel free to ask bro.

You want to do SLOW CONTROLLED NEGATIVES.. Dante said 6-8 sec, to really pound it into peoples head to slow down, but NOT to be taken literally.

You want to do it at a pace, in which IF needed you can reverse.

Here watch Wojo, this is good tempo. It is really more like 3 sec.
