Volcom’s, Controlled Labs NEW White Flood CAPS (Sponsored TESTER)

Day 12; Whoa....

This entire mornings fiasco was performed on an empty stomach, inadvertently.

There is a day and night difference in effectiveness and impact when taking 6 CAPS White Flood early morning vs taking 6 CAPS WF at the end of the day. It doesn't even feel like the same supplement!

I woke up at 5:30 am as usual and popped in my 2 CAPS White Flood, 2 caps DTH and 1 cap Sunami. I took too long to get out of bed so I had to skip breakfast and make it into the performance facility by 6:20am to train a client.

For the sake of waking my damn self up, I decided to open our session with some HIIT and I would join my client in the fun.

Speed & Agility HIIT
[All exercises were performed with a 10 seconds rest between intervals from beginning to end, in consistency with a stop watch]

50 yards high knees out, 50 yards run back x 3 intervals
50 yards butt kickers out, 50 yards run back x 3 intervals
50 yards crab runs out, 50 yards crab runs back x 3 intervals
50 yards back peddle out, 50 yards sprint back x 3 intervals
50 yards sprint out, 50 yards sprint back x 3 intervals

I was done with my client by 7:30am and was off to work at the Law Firm, however, I decided I'd try to squeeze in a workout before 9:00am, which was when I NEEDED to be at The Firm.

I dropped 6 White Flood CAPS on a still VERY empty stomach with the intentions of grabbing some form of food on the way to the gym, however, due to traffic, breakfast was again delayed, so I hit the gym on an empty stomach.

ARMS (Tri's & Brachioradialis/Extensors emphasized Bi's, inadvertently)

Laying, Double Db Triceps Extentions
30lbs Db's x 12 reps
35lbs Db's x 10 reps
40lbs Db's x 8 reps

Cable, Triceps Extensions - V Grip
155lbs x 10 reps
170lbs x 10 reps
195lbs x 8 reps
210lbs x 8 reps
225lbs x 6 reps

Cable, Reverse Triceps Extensions - EZ Bar
110lbs x 12 reps
125lbs x 10 reps
140lbs x 8 reps
155lbs x 8 reps

Triceps Extensions, machine - neutral grip
110lbs x 10 reps
110lbs x 10 reps
110lbs x 10 reps

I had waaaaaaay too much energy left. My motivation was still burning like rocket fuel and I was not about to leave the gym feeling this amped to continue, so I decided, funk it, let's hit some brachios.

Db Hammer Curls
50lbs Db's x 10 reps
60lbs Db's x 10 reps
70lbs Db's x 7 reps

Barbell Reverse Curls
65lbs x 10 reps
75lbs x 8 reps
85lbs x 6 reps

Concentrated Db Hammer Curls
40lbs Db's x 10 reps
45lbs Db's x 8 reps
50lbs Db's x 8 reps

Cable, Reverse Curls - EZ Bar
110lbs x 12 reps
125lbs x 10 reps
140lbs x 8 reps
155lbs x 6 reps

The latter portion of my workout was unplanned, but I burned through my tri's in about 30 min and I still had time and the incessant desire to do more, so I went into the brachio session.

Normally, I feel burnt right now and I usually have to take a power nap in the parking lot before I came in, but I feel wide eyed and the mental acuity right now is as sharp as an arrow.

Night & Day people, White Flood CAPS first thing in the morning, or at least on an utterly empty stomach is an alien product in comparison to taking White Flood CAPS at the end of the day. Keep in mind I did perform HIIT prior to hitting the gym this morning. It was 6:30am to be exact, so although fresh morning energy plays a key role, I wasn't exactly "fresh." HIIT and no food and I was still rip roar'n at the gym.

Wow, night & day....

Please be careful bro. I don't want you to go through what I went through 2 years ago. A torn pec sukks ballz dude!! It will definitely slow the training down for a couple of months. My pec is as strong or even stronger than before the tear, but the cosmetic aspect of it will remain forever. Warm up ridiculously well as you pyramid up to your work sets. Stretch a lot also. You know the drill. I'm merely preaching to the choir. But sometimes, the choir needs to be reminded!

I hear ya Thunder, you've always got the best of intentions. I'm taking it easy. I'm not performing any chest exercises for perhaps a longer time then I had originally intended. Although I know I'll be getting Chest Day Blue Balls because I want my chest to reap the benefits of this particular stack. However, I realize the prevention of injury stumps and trumps any other instant gratification of lifting. I appreciate your concern

Bro thats some volume, you must have felt beat up after that? These white flood tablets seem to have really got you focused and energized in the gym. Im really interested to see how you do with the dth and sunami.
You gotta start eating before you train, even if you have to get up 20 minutes earlier bro, i cant train without FOOD:burg:

I hear ya, I normally eat before I train, whether I'm hungry or not. It's anabolic and I really rely on those sugars to generate me through, but today's lack of pre-feed was inadvertent as a result of time conflictions. I was going to be late for my morning job which is a big no, no. Client's payed time starts at 6:30am whether I'm there or not, so I really screw the client if I'm not punctual and its just bad business. I also didn't want to be late for my day job at the Firm, so breakfast was a missed opportunity by happenstance and not intent.

I believe if it weren't for the White Flood, I wouldn't have been able to pull it off. STIMS of any kind can masquerade the energy derived from food for a short time, but White Flood isn't just about physical energy, it's a mental charger too, so it takes you beyond ability, but instills that boosted motivation.

As far as the DTH/Sunami.

DTH has never made me Randy on day 1, EVER. I can only presume that the day 1 increased Randy'ness is a result of the added Sunami, which is suppose to work in synergy quite well with DTH and it definitely showed.

I mentioned that my libido has been that of a blind, 96 year old man with prostate cancer, but last night I already felt a good morning donkey kick in the scrotum.

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming days. The added DTH/Sunami combo REALLY makes me wish my chest didn't have to be left out of all the fun, damn that kills me.

Luckily, my schedule dictates that I work out first thing in the morning. That's when I'm taking the 6 grams of Beta-Alanine along with my usual host of supps!! The whole combination of NOS supps, multi-creatine matrix, cordyceps, stims, fast-acting carbs, and BCAA's has me humping and pumping in no time!! :good::clean::dl: :squat::bb3:

Damn bro, sorry to hear about your pec-trouble! I'm sure you'll find your ways to work around the problem, however, because dat's just da ting ya do, V !

I had a pec-tear scare about a year back .. Eased up on chest training, entirely, obviously, for a couple of weeks, however, I made the point of doing very light work/high reps on the Pec-dec Flyes and/or various other machines, so you don't have to handle the manual weights and incorporate all stabilizing muscles, etc.. I'd do this once or twice a week, f.x with my tris and/or shoulders . . either ONLY pec-dec flyes for 4-5 sets of 25-30 (+) reps or use a variation of the Hammer Presses for the same amount of reps. I remember PILING THE HAMMER STRENGTH INCLINE PRESSES FULL OF .. ONE 25 lbs. plate on each handle . . wow, I felt like a manly-man . .

Anyway, I haven't caught up on your entire log, but caught the jist of your dealing with a potential pec-tear . . I don't even know if my above comments/suggestions apply, but hey, showing some love, V. lol

Good to see you around Thomas!

I think I just suffered a severe pec strain. I can do bodyweight push ups, I tested that just to see where I stand, because I'm sure a tear would prevent me from doing any kind of chest pressing movements. I'm sure heavy benching at this point would definitely push me over the injury edge. I may or may not attempt to perform chest this Saturday. If I do, it will be high reps, maybe I'll just rep 225 for 5-6 sets or maybe even 185's. I don't know, but nothing heavy I guess. Things could be worse. It's an undesired and frustrating interruption in the middle of an exciting stack, but you can empathize more then anyone here about that.

I read your post on Russian's thread, man you must be going through it, best of wishes with a speedy and full recovery and it's good to see you around these parts again.

My favorite is the feeling of unstopableness. It's like getting drunk, but actually being able to do the things your altered mind thinks it can achieve.

The Best News I've had all day.

I'm sensing the onset of some DOMS in my delts, that's fan-fricken-tastic. I haven't had DOMS in my delts in..... literally months. I can't even remember how long ago. That's what you get when you crush those isolated movements, which I generally override with more compounded presses.

DOMsicles!!

I can't believe how wide awake I still am. Usually, I'm looking forward to a lunch-power nap by now (having already taken one before starting my day at the Firm). Wow.... full serving of White Flood on a truly empty stomach in the morning, wow. Seriously, this is extraordinary. I haven't needed any coffee this morning, which is a daily habitual ritual because of my mental & physical fatigue and I don't foresee the necessity of any coffee anytime soon.

OUTSTANDING!!!

You should try to at least keep some protein bars on hand or something so you can at least grab a couple and hit the road! :)

P.S. What did I miss? I thought I was all caught up. Did you hurt your chest doing shoulders or was it before that?

I really cannot paint a significant enough picture about how extraordinary it is that I don't feel like a lethargic zombie today. I've felt lethargic EVERYDAY due to the accumulation of stress related to my overtly busy schedule, which is compounded by a less then appropriate amount of sleep.

My high energy level has not shifted at all today. I figured after this morning's jet fuel intensity, I would come to a crash & burn by the afternoon (where I usually sacrifice half of my lunch, sometimes all of it to nap).

No naps, no lethargy, I still seem to be running off the 6 CAPS White Flood I took this morning :clap2:

Today, my day began at 5:30am and I won't be back home until 10:00pm, this is just a glimpse at my schedule and I'll be up at 5:30am again tomorrow morning.

The DTH/Sunami has already brought my libido to what I consider, a healthy level. I haven't felt "right" in a long time. No libido, no desire, but I'm already feeling the mojo returning to a good, healthy state. A real miracle worker of a stack in the libido department.

Day 12; Second Workout

This second workout was not smooth at all. What’s the opposite saying of, “like cutting through butter with a hot knife”? Because this session was like cutting steel with a wilted flower. I showed up to school for a meeting, meeting got out early and allowed me some time to nap in my car. I’ll be in class until 10:00pm, so thought it’d be a wise idea, but it was HOT as hell. Have you ever taken a nap in your car and woken up in your own pool of sweat? For some reason, those hot, sweaty naps does more detriment to energy levels then good. I woke up groggy as all get out, but when I noticed I only slept for 10-15 min and was not about to fall back asleep, I realized if I made my way to the School Gym “right now,” I’ll have about 35 min to workout, so I went for it, zombie grog state and all.

At CSUF they have this bad@$$ free weight loaded lat pull down that no other gym I frequent posses and it almost guarantees back DOMS whenever I hit this, so I decided to just pimp this particular equipment to death. I also opted out of any horizontal movements because the only worthwhile back row they have seems to tear at my lumbar and I don’t need another injury or a worsened injury to be more accurate.

BACK

Free Weight Loaded, Lat Pull Down - Close Underhand
225lbs x 10 reps
235lbs x 9 reps
245lbs x 6 reps

Free Weight Loaded, Lat Pull Down - Overhand Wide
185lbs x 10 reps
190lbs x 8 reps
195lbs x 8 reps

Free Weight Loaded, Lat Pull Down - Behind The Neck
135lbs x 10 reps
145lbs x 10 reps
155lbs x 8 reps

Lat Pull Downs
225lbs x 10 reps
240lbs x 8 reps
255lbs x 6 reps

Yes, I realized I performed all pull down movements, it was to save my lower back and because I only had about 35 min to workout, so I prioritized today. I have years of pull down movements to make up for anyway. I’m MUCH thicker then I am wide. I’ve always favored heavy row movements, deads...etc., but I’ve never been a fan of pull downs.

By this time, about 10 hours had passed since my White Flood CAPS intake, so no more energy bursts, ontop of that, my hot nap really killed my energy levels. Either way, I pulled one out that I’m almost certain will give me some solid back DOMS tomorrow and I love me some back DOMS.

A popular and common Asian dish is boiling your eggs in tea and they're literally called, "Tea Eggs"

They're really good and a wholesome way to add some flavor to plain old hard boiled eggs.

Is that star anise and cinnamon?
Sho nuff, and that is a GREAT idea! My wife salt cures her own with several herbs I don't know the names for. They sit in a jar for like 3 months O.o

What kind of tea do you use? Some thai red anise tea sounds yummy.

Actually, historically I'm really not. I don't seem to find people's logs until 5-6 pages in for some reason. I just got lucky this time.

Actually, historically I'm worse, I find 'em after 30 or so
I thought better hurry up for this one Invalid Link Removed,

I hear you there, like yours, the stack I'm running is great in fighting off lethargy, but I wonder how much better it would be if I did "my bit" in terms of adequate rest. How much sleep do you ideally need for optimum performance (as opposed to what you get now) ?

Jesus, I just got wood from watching earl campbell eat faces and steve atwater CRUSHING cristian okoye.

:( I wish I had cable.

Yeah, the night before my sister's wedding. We got STUPID drunk, and I left the party at like 5 in the morning to go home and sleep, but realized there was no way in hell I could drive, so I passed out in my car only to wake up like 4 hours later drowning in my own sweat, parched, dehydrated, and feeling like I was dying, and only two hours until I was supposed to meet everyone at the church for pictures and I still hadn't picked up my tux. Good times.
