Day 4:

Alright. As far as nutrition goes, I wound up with the following...
P/F/C = 36/39/26 @ 2600 calories

I'm feeling nice, tired (due to some late-night studying), but very good overall. I'm noticing a few sides thus far, nothing big. A bit of an increase in acne, but nothing major (and I fricken hope it stays that way). BP was 110/70 the other day. I'll be sure and check it again tomorrow to make sure it's still doing good. Today was an off day, except for the miles and miles (literally) I walk between my classes throughout the day. Tomorrow is repetition upper body, and I am ohh soo excited :D

Dudes, check out my routine (attached) and let me know what you all think.. por favor.

and note, the specific exercises listed (like barbell bench for example) are just ideas, and not necessarily what I do each workout. Each movement only calls for 1 exercise.

Like the looks of that workout man - few questions:

How many sets per exercise, how long do the workouts take, and seeing as how you end on Saturday, do you roll right into Sunday or skip a day again and move to Monday.
Sets per exercise will vary. You do sets at the same weight until you reach 24 reps total for that exercise. 3 sets should be the minimum however. Aim for a weight you know you can lift 8 times, but not much more. Then, rest 60 seconds and proceed to get in as many reps (with proper form and speed) that you can. Rest 60 more seconds, and continue.. Do this until 24 reps are reach. Workouts take between 30 minutes to 1 hour. On average for me, about 50 minutes.

I just jump right in from Saturday to Sunday. It doesn't have to be done that way. Just be sure that you allow 72 hrs between Max Effort days and their corresponding repetition or dynamic days.

I'm thinking it's the shizzle thus far. It basically incorporates ideas from Westside Barbell, Chad Waterbury, and a little DC inspiration as well. My initial thoughts are that it's going to be amazing as far as building strength on the main compound lifts, and adding mass everywhere else. Uh! Can't wait to hit the gym today :head:

liking the routine brotha ! looks solid

Day 5:

Little bit about me for those who don't know, I've got 3 cycles under my belt; 1 of which included test prop and high doses of epi. Now, with that in mind, I feel better right now than I have on any other cycle, ever. My intensity in the gym is unreal. It's a calm and controlled absolute determination. It feels soo good. I wrecked it in there today. Fricken' wrecked it. Then knocked out 13 mins of HIIT.

Here's how it went:
db bench - 80s for all sets until 24 reps reached
hanging rows - bodyweight, was too light so I didn't stick to the 24 method. Next time I'll bring in a weight belt.
shoulder press - wasn't sure what i wanted to do, so, next time I'll start with 50s.. got a junk-load of reps in on these
high pulls - 100lbs, went till 24
decline closegrip bench - 155lbs, went till 24
dbell curls - 30s, went till 24

* now, for those who are wondering how I'll judge progression on this program - I'll increase the weight (by at least 10lbs) when I'm able to complete more than 10 reps for the first set of any exercise

UGH! :aargh:

Welp, took care of my cheat meal for the week. 5 slices out of a large pizza + a tablespoon of blue cheese dressing. Mmm!

This is a good deal smaller than most of my cheat meals, so that's a very good thing IMO.

Good luck with that CKD pal!

Here's what I've decided about cheat meals - they're awesome, super delicious, should aid in fat-loss in the long run, and they make me feel crappy enough about all the extra calories to ensure that dieting very strictly for a full week is rather easy.

Yeah, I guess that's a good thing.

I love my weighted dips, but I generally only do them for chest. Never have really wanted to try them for my tris... Nothing too special about decline close grip. I had read somewhere that it was quite nice, but I can't tell much of a difference from regular close grip :(

And yeah, the feeling in the gym is MINT.. lol

I have a feeling it may (probably) have something to do with some synergy between Prime and Epi

oh man im disappointed i thought they would be real good =(

it just may have to do with that ... for me prime dont make me feel like an animal in the gym i just have a good muscle mind connection while im in the gym .. now RPM on the other hand does make me feel that way it makes me feel like w.e u put on that bar im gonna gte up no matter how much it is .. i feel limitless while taking it ..

Im off to the gym now brotha .. gonna kill my shoulders and tri's

Day 6

No resistance training today. Did get in 12 mins HIIT on the elliptical though, and 13 minutes moderate intensity as well. No sides to report really. BP has been surprisingly good, on average 120/70. Only real side is slightly increased irritability, and a little bit of acne on the facial region, nothing awful though.

Calories and such are as follows -
P/F/C = 41/36/23 @ 2100 calories (lowered them a bit to help speed up fat-loss after my cheat meal last night).

looking pretty good man. Pizza....definitely going to be used during my bulk this winter.....oh i have avoided mostly for so long....revenge....

ha! Man, you're pretty serious about your food.

Although, I don't blame you. Pizza, it's a very serious food.

Day 7

I'm pretty damn upset guys. My lower back is hurting. I injured it months ago and finally got to where I could squat and all that good stuff again. And now this.. Damn the leg press! Doesn't matter how good my form is, I cannot get away with doing that machine. It makes me so mad that I see all these people that lift worth crap and they're fine.. while I do things right and have to deal with this...

This is GHEY. I'm really hoping nothing comes of this. My next leg day is Tuesday. Hopefully things are golden by then. Oh, and I'm shunning leg press from now on. No more. Not even unilateral. Forget that crap.

Anyway, as you can imagine, my workout blew after that. Box squats were decent though, 8 sets of 2 at 225.

I'm rather depressed by this little incident.

lol good lord man - good luck with the dosage. Hope your back feels better.
I'll be rockin' it dude. That dose should be ok. I've run it this high before awhile back. I think upping the dose is the best thing to do considering the brevity of this cycle. And thanks about my back. It's already starting to feel a bit better. I'm hoping that by next leg day (tuesday) it's ready to go.

OZ are you running Prime throughout the 2 week cycles, both ON and OFF?

I just started an epi cycle and not sure if I should run epi while ON or wait til PCT. I might start Prime on week 3 and bridge it into PCT

I've been running it ED. I like it very much :)

Day 8
Okey dokey, went up to 50mg today.

No sides to speak of really, still a bit of increased acne, but no biggie. BP has been good thus far as well, I'll try and check it tomorrow to be sure. Nutrition is as follows - p/f/c = 40/32/29 @ 2400 calories

Will you be doing bloodwork post cycle? I think it would be very interesting and informative to see how your testosterone levels bounce back.

i actually know a vampire thats an endocrinologist. I am sending him over to take a sample.....

No bloodwork, not after this first one. I'd love to get bloodwork, but I'm not positive I've got that kind of money at the present time. We'll see though.

Day 9

Checked BP earlier today, 113/75. Not too frickin' shabby if you ask me. This is great, BP has been soo good since I've cut down some body fat. Besides increased acne, really, sides have been minimal. Oh, guess what guys... I work at Marble Slab now. Ha! No worries, I won't eat the ice cream, I'll just contribute to America's obesity problem in a second-hand sort of way. Awesome.

Anyway, nutrition for me today - split up into 5 meals
p/f/c = 39/29/32 @ 2500 calories

My diet is something I'm very proud of, and I love green beans. I have like 2-4 cans of no-salt-added green beans a day. It's awesome.
