okay, im not sure what im gunna do..im constantly trying to bulk....i have a fast metabolism, and i cant gain for crap!

im trying to come up with a bulking cycle (no roids/PH's)......
im stuck between two ideas........

1st- Arachidonic acid.....I.E. max out or x-factor

2nd- IGF-2 by appnut & Advanced PCT by AX

im open for alternatives or other ideas......im lookin to gain maybe 8-10 pounds........im in the process of changing my diet.....so thats not a problem....

i take:
green mag
purple wrath
vitamin world vita-man
RPM (stim junkie-i take more than recommended on bottle)
whey protein (of coarse)
waxy maize starch or oats

so what you guys think??
 
I think if you're trying to solve your problems by adding more supplements to a list already too long then you are barking up the wrong tree.

I've got the same problem man, but as Rugger previously posted, another supplement is not the way to go. If you're an ecto (which is what I gather), you must have room to up your carb intake. Be sure to drink some sort of sugary product immediately post-creatine usage. Also, up your fats. I can especially attest to this because I'd been stuck in a lifting rut, wondering, "How could I have reached my genetic potential at 17..." I had a low fat diet (~30-35g) because I loved keeping my abs in tip-top shape. Little did I know, fat is absolutely essential to muscle growth. Now my bench is raising significantly (along with Activate Xtreme and a new program influenced by Chad Waterbury of Tnation and Sheiko powerlifting), and I am now kicking myself that I had been torturing myself in regards to my diet and had been paying the opposite for it. Kind of like backwards karma. In a few weeks my bench has went from 165x8 to 185x7, and my weight has gone up 5-6 lbs.

Eat more and you will grow.
 
i would go for the second one and eat eat and eat more be faster than your metabolism ah ah
 
i see what your sayin.....i eat 6 meals a day, and been doin it for some time now.........im just never hungry......it blows :(

but is there anything else i can do to increase hunger??

and i personally think thats not all to many supplements........i dont really consider multi-vitamin, whey protein and waxy maize supplements because i have taken them since i started lifting about 5 years ago........that leaves RPM (pre-workout stim), purple wrath (Amino acids), and green mag (creatine)..... i personally think everything but the RPM and purple wrath are staples........

well.......off the record im a avid marijuana smoker lol...its never really made all that hungry........and i lol'd when i saw the daytime T.V. comment
 
Slip in some more calorie dense foods. The new Invalid Link Removed would be my first choice. It's pretty easy to eat a tbsp of that. I keep rhyming off the benefits, but being a MCT its hard to store as fat (used primarily for energy), boosts thyroid & metabolism, antimicrobial, positively linked with test levels. I find it raises my energy.

I think you just need to focus on boosting your cals; eat even if you're not hungry! Look at it this way; you could be busting your ass in the gym for nothing if your intake=expenditure, you need energy to grow! Add an extra 6 eggs/day in to your diet; just hard boil them and slip them in with meals. Add a shake, there's lots of ways.
 
what do you eat for breakfast?
 
i get blend up whey and casein protien (all the whey vanilla) and throw in strawberry's, banana, and waxy maize starch, then i have 4 hard boild eggs (i hate yolk, i dont eat it)

thats my breakfast....i have the casein in it because i dont eat anything else until 12:00 and i got the whey so i can replenish after my night time "fast"

i love peanut butter, and im gunna order some of that coconut oil, i saw that like 45 minutes ago...you guys are gettin lots of new stuff in lol
 
oh and i drink half a gallon of whole milk each day, but im gunna try to find "kefir" people on here say its awesome.........i dont know if the stores got it though :(
 
throw some oats in there first and blent it into a powder, then add everything lists above + some natty PB...blend it up and enjoy!
 
if I skimp on breakfast then I'm not hungry the rest of the day...get that morning metabolism fired up!
 
yah the oat thing doesnt work well for me lol, it taste really chalky, thats why i got my waxy maize starch.....it doesnt do that for some reason.....and i do add peanut butter, i just didnt list it...my bad...


but im gunna try and eat more eggs.....
 
Also, I've heard from many people that quitting smoking (marijuana OR cigarretes has lead to a 5-6 lbs increase in weight.. My teacher quit smoking after 23 years, he gained 20lbs in 3 months..)
 
WMS is not a good sub for oats! IMO you would want some complex carbs in there.

even if you add 3 more egg whites then that's only 9 extra grams of protein and 36 calories...not a whole lot of nutrients.
 
Good to hear about the PB; you need a fat source in there to slow down digestion. I still think WMS is too quick a carb for breakfast; Too bad we dont have supercarb (palatinose). Frozen peeled sweetpotato would be fun :) I wonder what ground beans and/or lentils would be like. So much for good tasting though lol.
 
whats a good flavor of oat meal then??

and NP doesnt have All The Whey casein protein so whats another good tasting one brand that they do carry......??

personally, i'd drop the RPM as your metabolism is already high enough. IGF-2 would be my recommendation, though carb timing is essential to get it to work to its full effect, which makes bulking difficult on a normal diet. maybe a natural test booster like DT hardcore 2010 would be better for you?

what does your daily diet look like?
 
don't get flavored oat meal...just plain old oats!

after you blend everything together it'll still be your strawberry banana smoothie!

i have a ass load of cytogainer lol........i dont know about that stuff though.......taste gets boring seeming as i got 3 f*ckin jugs of the chocolate.....
 
Well, I use 1 scivation whey scoop, ~1/2 cup of "quick oats" (the oatmeal-like oats that come in a cylinder), and 1 tbsp. of peanut butter/shake. Tastes real good, and I eat it whenever I get hungry, really.
 
I say buy a weight gainer and wash every meal down with an extra 500 calories :D
Black HOLE helped me put on significant weight during my last bulk.

I also think phasing out the stimulants are a good idea. They can only burn precious calories.

Also, look at your training program. Make sure your doing lots of squats, deadlifts, bench, pullups, overhead presses, rows and dips.
 
I had that problem the summer i got out of high school...I was sitting at 160 and really wanted to throw on 20lbs and not just be fat. I increased my activity which doesn't sound like it would help gaining weight but i wanted to stay semi lean. Every morning when i woke up i added a weight gainer shake and added ice cream and extra virgin olive oil to make the shake contain 1750 calories. I ate like i had no other choice and took the same shake at night. I ended up adding 3900 daily calories to my diet and put on 17 pounds that summer. And not only that but i was stronger and looked more defined than when i was a skinny shredded kid lol.

Good luck with your gains.

i cant tell you how many times my metabolism/appetite has gone up and down over the years, b/c of bulking, cutting, and supps, esp. the stimulants. If my cut was over, but my appetite wasn't there,... I would FORCE myself to eat. Do that,.. and set up short term goals. If your bulking,....and ur eating 6 meals a day,.. plan to eat 8. If eating 8,.. plan to eat 10. No time to cook? Buy all your stuff and cook enough pasta, rice, ckn, steak, and fish in one night to last 3-4 days,.... and take it with you to work/school, thats what I do.

Hell,... I remember some of my buddies at the gym laughing b/c they heard the stories of phil health walking around with tilipia in ziploc bags, in his pockets. They noticed i wasn't laughing,.... and then i told them i do the same thing all the time,..... and then added the reason they wouldnt ever do that is the same reason why they will never be big. Just food for thought.
 
wow no caffeine today.....i hate it but im gunna buy some more reset A.D. that did the trick last time i cut stims........
 
Just, here's a hint for raw oatmeal: use a coffee grinder to turn raw, whole oats into a fine powder. Then dump the powder into the blender along with your protein, peanut butter, and whatever else you can toss in there. Oh, add ice too.

It is DEFINITELY worth buying a quality blender that can kick serious a$$. Don't be afraid to spend $100 on a blender. Mine is a warrior....jacks up huge ice chunks, PB, oats, whey, etc. It makes a smootie out of concrete and molasses!

I agree with COCO oil. Also if you eat a meal with 1 protein and 1 carb, change that to 1 protein and 2 carb servings. That should do it.
 
okay, i just blended me up a nice shake with some cocnut oil from the Vitamin world by my house.....i thought that stuff was a liquid not a "butter" like texture......can i melt it in the micro wave or some thing so i can put it other stuff??




and what type of blender you got papa??

i need a new one, mine leaks milk and sh*t every where
