What are the BEST Protein Bars on the Market?!?!

I was referring to the "better protein bars" in terms of taste (see the post I quoted).

I have gone through 25+ boxes of quest bars, and for those who don't know, there are 3 new flavors about to be released.

Oh, sorry. I'm anxious to find out when exactly the new flavors are gonna be released. They sound really good. I think one of them is Apple Crisp...I posted about it when I first got the newsletter but I forgot.

While I do agree that Quest bars are much better profile-wise than Supreme bars, nothing compares taste-wise to Supreme, imo. Quest bars do taste good when warmed up a bit, but give me a PB&J Supreme bar any day of the week. Nom nom!

Better protein bars are delicious. I haven't had the supreme bars but with the BPB I have no complaints on taste, quality, or profile

My fav pre made bars would have to be (in any order) - Flurry Bars (ones with the resee's pieces), 2:1 Almond Carmel Crunch, Supreme Peanut Butter and Jelly, ISS Oh Yeah Cookie Carmel Crunch (tastes like twix bar)

I'm going to have to try the Supreme PB&J and the Quest. I ordered the Quest samples a while ago...

I think the next Better Protein Bar flavor I'll try is Sour Apple. I've got some caramel sauce that might find its way onto a bar or two... ;)

Think i'm going to pick up a Quest Bar today if they have them at vitamin shoppe

They have a coupon code (easy google search) so shipping is free on your 1st order. You can buy a single bar or 1 of each flavor sent to you without spending the xtra $$

An advantage with better protein bars is being able to adjust the bars to your liking and caloric needs. A whole bunch of options and recipes out there

Yeah we get it. You said the same thing in post #42 of this same thread.
You need2 guys need to quit gang banging every thread on this forum.

Bump.

Quest Protein bars finally put out their new flavors! Ordered 1 of each to see what's good.

Chocolate
mixed berry
apple pie

Looks like Optimum Nutrition has a new 100% Whey Crisp Bar. Anybody have one yet?

Not yet, I wanted to try the marshmallow one but Quest had a better profile... gonna have to see if a local shop sells them individually so I can sample them before buying a box.

I was gonna do that but then I realized they have a "sampler pack" with 4 bars of each of the new flavors. Saves a lot of money that way and you can try each new flavor out.

So I've tried each one of the new flavors and I'm glad I bought a box of each. The APPLE PIE is amazing!!! Chocolate brownie was pretty damn good and mixed berry would go awesome with a scoop of vanilla ice cream lol

Well, Quest's ingredient profile is actually superior IMO, but how do they taste? May pick these up next.
sorry im about a month late.. just saw this..

i wasnt talking about the quest bar. i was talking about supreme protein bar being my second choice due to taste alone.its probably on even keel with ntbm protein bars taste wise but they ingredients arent anywhere close

is quest a store bought protein bar? im not familiar with it ..but i would give the better bars a shot if i was you.i seriously doubt quest can compare with the profile and taste of better bars

only reason someone might pick any store bought bar over better bars is convience of not having to combine the ingredients at home ..only advantage imo

You need to check out Quest. Their ingredient profile consists of probably 90% of what you could find in your kitchen. Great profile. No mess and no hassel. They are a bit pricey though.

Hands down, the best protein bars are Quest Protein Bars. It just does not get better than that, at least I could not find anything better.

How much do these Quest bars cost? I must admit I've never tried them...

Got a free Flurry Bar with a sup order. NOT GOOD (I think it was M&M or something) I don't recommend. This is IMO of course

so far my favorite are the Need to build muscle better protein bars the sour apple is heavenly but these quest bars have my attention.hmm I might have to check these out.

I have had them, they dont taste terrible...but their ingredient profile doesnt even come close to Quest. Just some protein and garbagelike regular protein bars.

I agree (late post). By far some of the worst bars I've ever had. Tasteless, seem like eating colored rubber.

I know that different Protein bars affect your body differently depending on what your goal is. So what is the BEST protein bar for:

1. Mass Building/Muscle Growth
2. Fat Loss
3. Endurance/Stamina
4.Meal Replacement

and whens the best time to eat them?

Thank You

I liked Met-RX when I used to eat protein bars. Loved to eat them with oatmeal actually, sometimes PB too

For taste id say it's the supreme protein bars, or the labrada oh yeah! peanut bars mmm

Never tried quest, so will do in the future.

But i do really like phd growth factor 50, has it in all the right places.

I can't believe the **** you guys are coming up with.

18g fiber per bar?? That would give me the runs real fast

For me personally I like the supreme protein bars. Obviously not the best bar as far as nutrition but taste is a huge factor for me when it comes to bars so they are one of the few that I will eat. Most of the flavors contain about 18g Fat, 30-35g Carbs, and 30g Protein. Keep in mind they all have some sugar in them as well as a hefty amount of sugar alcohols. I am very interested in the homemade bars though so ill have to check the recipes out.....I dont know if they can taste better than a good ol fashioned homemade MRP shake though!

Ate a box of the MetRx for a bit there.

Quest bars great profile.. Chocolate brownie yup... Toss in microwave for 10 second ha yess
The cheese cake one good too

there are so many good ones

Seen a few of your post. What do you like?

Quest bars are the best. I rarely eat protein bars though. Once in a while I'll get a Met Rx from the supemarket on carb up days. Wish they had the quest bars at the supermarket.

It's a guy... I posted it cause if you look @ his post history he just popped up with a few remarks in random threads. I asked what bars he liked to see if he was just trying to get the post count up or actually contributing. :D

I'll go with the first 1 for 100 points. :D

ON crispy bars are my favorite, low cal/fat decent amount of protein. Best tasting that I've come across are the Supreme bars.

nothing better than making short meaningless comments to get your post count up.

I rrarely eat protein bars except for something easy on race days, usually I grab a Clif Bar . . . has to have chocolate

Never tried a cliff bar, at least from what I recall.
