Volcom's Sponsored, Controlled Lab's NEW, BLUE GROWTH log w/video

Out of all the CL products you've tried, particularly the Blue Line, what would be your top two?

I've yet to finish Blue GROWTH, so it's hard to say with certainty, but Blue GENE is right up there for favorite supps in general. I had good success with Blue GENE and the symptoms were very apparent. Of the various supps that generate windows of increased libido, the libido spikes were the most apparent when I was on Blue GENE. I've tried Blue UP, but for me, it wasn't extraordinary.

I've only been on Blue GROWTH for about 5 days (as of tonight), so I can't really assess it yet.

Have you experienced any shoulder discomfort since starting Oly Lifts? Mine acts up once and a while while doing them yet I've never had an injury related to the part that is affected (Shoulder).

No, just my wrists if I do cleans, but after buying wrist wraps its seemed to go away. I also warm up with over head squats with the bar to warm up my shoulder flexibility.

Thats awesome man, I'm so glad to hear your diggin' the product so far. Empty stomach for sure, the effects of the product kick in alot quicker and stronger IMO.

Do you feel so far that Blue Gene + Blue Growth would be a nice stack together?
 
Volcom its 6 in the morning I've been up all night benchpressing non stop and with this new training method I will catch up in 4 days tops!
Sike I been up for about 2 hours watching nephew!figure its some time to catch up on some logs

I'm asleep by 10-11pm, wake up at 430am. Blue GrowtH makes it easy to control my sleep patterns!

I agree. Blue GENE is a great backbone product, like Prime would be. It fits into alot of stacks.

We developed Blue GrowtH to be stacked with Blue GENE, getting the daytime and the nighttime dose. They're very synergenic. Blue GENE has that natural AI property in it, along with the test boosters. And Blue GrowtH, the focus is on GH, but it has compounds like Safed Musli which will boost test too, is complimented by the AI in BG.

I'll be starting a new log with these two in the future :D

My partner Dusty couldn't lift today, so I took the tripod to Peak Performance. I'm feeling stronger with a slight increase in stamina. Looking forward to more progress and I'm hoping my low back was healed enough to do this today. I have a tendency to jump in prematurely.

I'll bet that belt came in handy on these lifts. :yup:

That Inzer belt is awesome and I wear Inzer knee wraps, too. The lever on that belt feels like a commercial grade, freezer storage lever and the leather feels like compressed beef jerky; quality ish.

Thanks Resolve. . Fixed it ;) They're easy to mix up. I'd always get them mixed up until they became an area of study. I'm not really pulling anything extraordinary, tbh. It's slightly above average for the layperson. H.S. football seniors who actually do these tend to struggle right around 115lbs for "snatches." There are only a small handful of H.S. coaches who actually teach a proper clean and a much smaller handful who teach the snatch at all. My only other comparison are competitive power lifters and yeah, quite literally, I'm pulling girl weight relative to competition standards, but I'm just 3-4 months in, so I've got a ways to go to hit my potential.

What kind of belt is it you're using there, Sam? I need to order a new one. I think I'll get the 13mm Single Prong Inzer, but I was looking at the lever belts as well that they have. :dunno:

I've been going to EliteFTS for all my gear, but I hear Inzer belts can't be beat.

If I do any form of clean my traps get too big, I actually have to avoid training traps, clean and press I still throw in though, they're just to fuggin badass. Most of the time I will do push press as it really widens my shoulders, cleans make my shoulders look narrower because of the overdevloped traps...

I'll check your vids out, ASAP. I used a free download called Windows Movie Maker. It's a free upgrade for you if you have windows media player. I knocked that thing out in like 30-45 min with all the cropping and editing included.

Did some hangin' snatches last nite - inspired by your video :)

Only repped up ~145# though

Nice man. I'm still trying to develop my power and my core strength. I can't sit into the catch as low as I need to because I don't have the core strength to overhead squat more then 135lbs from that low. I'll get there. 145 hang snatch isn't easy man (at least not for us "bodybuilders"), good stuff.
 
Bah, snatch! I meant snatch! I don't think I've ever done more than 135 for a snatch, but then I've only done them while warming up for power cleans.

What do you power clean anyway? I haven't Olympic cleaned (meaning off the floor) in a long time, because I always do my cleans after my Olympic Snatches and Hang Snatches, so at that point, pulling any off the ground is energy I don't have, so I always Hang Snatch. I think I could Oly Clean 225 for reps if I were fresh, but I've only been able to do hangs for the longest.

My power is far behind my strength ability and I don't think I have great "natural" power as is.

Here's a video I just threw together in literally 8 min; it probably took longer to upload into YouTube then to make it. These are some hang cleans I did after I did Oly Snatches and Hang Snatches awhile back, so I was already pretty exhausted. I only do a full front squat if needed, such as if the weight forces me down, otherwise, for such lighter weights as 135, I don't need to full front squat; I just catch it high. Also, my wrists aren't nearly flexible enough to set it across the proper positioning, high up on my delts yet. I can Clean grip front squats if given the time to adjust, but I can't catch it that high yet.

13mm Lever Inzer. Solid quality. The hide is so fresh when you get it that it makes you hungry for steak. It's also very easily adjustable. I received my belt at work and made my adjusts with screwing & unscrewing things here & there with a butter knife at my office desk, literally.

With the lever belt, you get the belt, the lever and some screws. You have to assemble the lever to the belt and this way, you can apply the lever to the proper area on the belt so that it would fit your waste. It only takes a few mins, even if you're not a handy man such as myself. Again, I put the thing together with a butter knife, sitting at my office desk.
