Volcom’s, Controlled Labs NEW White Flood CAPS (Sponsored TESTER)

That made me laugh.

Glad to see you take a decent rest in between sets, too. So many people say they only rest 30-45secs, but I honestly think they're lying, and if they are doing it, they are definitely not allowing for optimal growth. How can you push yourself if the lactic acid is still built up and preventing further drive in your sets?

That's not my problem at all. After I catch my breath for an exercise THEN I rest a whole minute afterwards just to get ready to start my next set. I do something like 15 minutes total to finish 4 sets (including the time it takes to actually do the sets and rest between them).

Day 7: Thunder's going to zap the $hit out of me

I failed to rest and worked out again, but it was under extraordinary circumstances. My class was canceled today, so I went home during a time where I'm normally doing "something." I was eating dinner and felt like a fat@$$, anytime I eat I feel like a fat@$$ if i know I'm not working out that day, it's a psychological issue, I understand. In the midst of my trough feeding, my workout partner Zack, who was also uncharacteristically free at this time, happened to free and hit me up to workout.

At first I was hesitant and knew what the right thing to do was, however, I was bored, feeling unproductive, feeling like a fat@$$ and my workout partner was suddenly free, it was The Perfect Storm to sink my recovery day. Tomorrow is a must. Sorry Thunder, I tried.

Vertical Preacher, Bent Over Dumbbell Reverse Flies
[set the preacher at it's lowest setting, lean over the vertical side, until your upper torso is parallel to the ground and reverse fly the Db's. This places your body in an optimal position to stimulate the rear delts and it severely diminishes "uprowing" with the lumbar. You know what I'm talk'n about.... :nono:]

Cable Cross-Over Reverse Flies
80lbs x 10 reps
90lbs x 8 reps
90lbs x 8 reps

Bam, and that did it for today's "more" complete shoulder workout, in comparison to my last.

I didn't have the luxury of the NO from the White Flood to fuel my workout, because I took my final dose much earlier today, as I had expected NOT to workout. However, I did still benefit from the Beta Alanine, as that accumulates in your system like Creatine. I feel good right now, but I had better take me arse to bed early tonight, because I'm going to pay for this tomorrow morning.

Thunder's going to be angered Invalid Link Removed

P.S. Did I mentioned I did not take it light. This all took about an hour, my workout partner and I move one after another. I sometimes get LESS rest in when we workout together. Actually, I definitely get less rest when we workout together.

badass

You're ****ing nuts dude. I wish I could workout like that and benefit from it. For my body that would be overtraining and probably would not benefit much. Good job!

Day 8

Damn, I had to be up at 5:35am for my sports performance training job, which was rough, but bearable. Waking up wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. However, I arrived at my second job here at the law firm at 8:00am, leaned my chair back for a quick power nap and although I kept waking in and out of consciousness, I didn't officially get me arse up until 9:30am. Even though, I made myself down some coffee before I came in. It's now 10:09am and I'm finally, truly awake. All this to say, my stubbon arse needs to rest today, no matter what.

I did have one of the best workouts I've had in awhile last night. It inspired me to have a POSTERIOR DAY, which would consist of Behind the neck shoulder press, pronated grip rows, Db reverse flies, cable reverse cross overs, reverse pec deck, rear shrugs....etc., whatever I can do to bring up my posterior delts. My anterior delts are the most developed and my medial delts could use more work, however, my posterior delts are severely lacking in comparison, so I think I'm going to go on an Alexander The Great crusade in conquering my posterior delts. I swear it's the White Flood's GABA that do this to me and makes me think of wild ish like this.

No DOMS in the delts from last night's extravaganza, but some slight soreness in my traps and upper back. It was very much worth it Invalid Link Removed

I have to try those Wide Grip Upright Rows on the Smith. That sounds solid.

Wide grip upright rows, very closely mimic the ROM of a Db lat raise, so it makes for a great supplement for the medial head, as oppose to the narrow grip that targets the traps and anterior delts.

You're ****ing nuts dude. I wish I could workout like that and benefit from it. For my body that would be overtraining and probably would not benefit much. Good job!

BIG compound muscle groups like Chest and Back, I have to keep it within somewhat of a normal range, but smaller muscle groups like delts and arms, I have a tendency to be sometimes, excessively voluminous. That being said, I don't normally train delts this extensively, I truly believe it's the added energy boost from the WF and the exentuated motivation from logging. Otherwise, my delt days aren't anything that extraordinary, except perhaps for my more then average amount of presses I perform.

The metal was definitely hot and I was definitely feeling like a restrained rodeo bull.

The more intense the workout, the more fun I have. I love epic workouts. My mentality is to try and make my current workout top the last or at least walk out feeling like I performed in an extraordinary way, like most of the people around us could not have done what we had did. Of course that's not always the case. On special occasions I feel like we performed something Epic, but more often then not its more along the lines of feeling like we achieved something extraordinary and of course we have our average days or the worst of all, complete duds, which do occur.

I like Epic, I shoot for Epic, but sometimes the strength isn't there, or the endurance isn't there or the mentality & drive is less then optimal. Whenever I say I had to fight through the workout, it's never Epic, when its all enthusiasm, then chances are I left feeling like Hercules. Of course every workout is considered a fight, but I differentiate, "I had to fight through this one" and "We totally battled it out" the latter meaning "we kicked @$$" the previous meaning "I got me arse kicked but didn't get knocked out. I walked away the winner, but barely."

How are the domsicles?

Cool. I just wanted to say domsicles tho :)

Man I'm tired. I'm definitely resting up tonight.

Hey Renegade, how would you feel about the addition of Diesel Test Hardcore and Tsunami to assist in strength and libido?

It's your call because I'm under CL's sponsorship, so just let me know. Again, it's totally your call.

dang sam, just caught up on pages 7-10. some killer workouts! and id say give adrenalean a go like viking said. i was hitting 3 or 4, 2 or 3 times a day and i was loving it. mood enhanced, and appetite crushed, so i had to be a responsible bodybuilder and remind myself to eat a meal.

keep it up tho man. hows your hectic schedule treating you being about halfway through the semester?

Hey Roland,

My hectic schedule is kicking me arse. The accumulation of the lack of sleep is starting to show its mal-effects. It's taking me longer and longer to wake up in the morning and I've been feeling really lethargic for the last two days. I somewhat make up my sleep during the weekends, but my weekend recoveries are becoming less and less effective.

However, I'm taking a few days off to really allow my body to recover and I think I'll be fine.

I'm going to hijack one of your leg workouts for tomorrow. I need something to make me sore, got any one in particular that runs you about 60 mintes? Brutal is a requirement ;)

I do a brutal shocker on occasion, but it doesn't last for 60 min. It's the 30 rep, 1 min squat stretch for 3 consecutive sets routine and repeated twice for calves. One on the seated calf raises and the other on the standing.

Squat Variation
- Place two 25lbs plats on the ground. Heel on the weight, toes touching the floor.
- Grab 40lbs Db's.
- Perform 30 grueling reps
- Following the completion of the 30 reps, immediately drop down into a squatted position and remain in that position for 1 minute.
- Following the completion of the 1 min stretch, go directly into a second set of 30 reps.
- 1 min squat
- Go directly in the the 3rd and final 30 reps
- 1 min squat

Calves Variation
- Use 45lbs and a 25lbs plates on the seated calf raise.
- Perform 30 reps
- Following the completion of the 30 reps, immediately allow your calves to stretch. The weight of the 45/25 will hold your calves in that deep, static contraction, hold for 1 min.
- Go into your second reps of 30
- 1 min stretch
- Third reps of 30
- 1 min stretch

Perform the same Calves variation on the standing calf raise. Either pigeon toe inward or outward, to emphasis a different of the calves.

What's the point?
If using the proper weight, preferably somewhat heavy, and performing this kind of volume, at the end of the 30 reps, your muscle fiber (take the quads) will be fighting to shorten and contract. However, while you're in the squatted position, you're withholding your muscle fiber's reaction to contract, so it continually pulls and creates a perpetual, minute long contraction. Some people's muscle will react to this stretch, some won't. If you're in the won't group, then don't do this, you'll be wasting your time. If you're in the group that does respond to the stretch, then it'll be the worst three sets of your life, especially with calves.

These are NOT more effective then standard heavy squats, but a good mix up to severely shock the system.

You can practice this same technique with chest. Use 135lbs, press it 30 times and hold a 5lbs weight on each hand to anchor down a deep, crucifix stretch for 1 min, then next 30/1 min stretch/last 30/1 min stretch.

Hey everybody,

In respectful accord, I've asked Renegade's permission in allowing me to add some fireworks to my White Flood CAPS experience. Starting NEXT Monday, I will be adding Diesel Test Hardcore and Sunami, by Get Diesel.

I will address some obvious issues and concerns.

Won't this taint your impression and experience of White Flood CAPS?

No. Perhaps it would have had I started off with a stack, but because I'm very familiar with the effects of White Flood, I've already had time to experience some contrast and comparisons in regards to CAPS vs Powder. I am familiar with what effects are White Flood related and differentiating White Flood symptoms from DTH & Sunami will not be difficult.

I'm a frequent flier of Diesel Test Hardcore and have established experience and expectations of its effects. Sunami would be the only "new" product of this bunch.

Symptoms of White Flood
- Increased mental energy & focus
- Increased stamina
- Increased strength (most notably in the higher rep ranges)
- Vasodilation and increased circulation
- Sense of well being

Symptoms of DTH
- Increased strength (most notably in the lower rep ranges)
- Increased aggression
- Increased libido
- Alpha Male Mentality
- Sense of well being

Symptoms of Sunami
- I don't know, but it's geared toward magnifying the effects of DTH.

["most notably" does not mean exclusively, both WF and DTH effect the high and low rep ranges, but one is emphasized over the other, both in my personal experience and as it is suppose to be in terms of it's actual physiological effects. BA has a greater volume effect and testosterone as a greater intensity effect.]

As you can see, there are not many cross-over effects that would be perplexing to distinguish.

I am also hoping that the increased circulation created by WF's vasodilating effects will prove beneficial to some extent in the uptake of DTH and Sunami, as all three will be taken together on at least two occasions throughout the day.

DTH:
6 caps a day; 2am/2mid/2pm split for 6 days, 7th day off
Sunami: 3 caps a day; 1am/1mid/1pm for 6 days, 7th day off
WF: 8 caps daily; currently 2am/2mid/4pre; building up to 2am/6pre; and ultimately 8caps pre.

How are you anyway bro? Russian.

I'm doing very lethargic  but I just need to catch up on my sleep. I'm so busy and so bogged down with stress, and everything is compounding and accumulating into a giant pyramid of lethargic bricks, but no worries. I need to hibernate for like 14 hours, that would be solve a good chunk of my fatigue'iousity.

Good luck on your next log

Excited for your stack bro! Now when you say Sunami do you mean Tsunami? :D

You should totally use mozilla firefox. Much better than IE

Why was I expecting that?

Oh, because everyone at 2+2 makes fun of me for that too.

Mozilla doesn't work well with my school's online programs.

ahh

this log just got stacked haha. looking forward to the additions.

and a note to steveoph:
that leg workout volcom posted is ridiculous. and i only used a 45lb bar on my back, not 40lb dbs. i didnt use that whole routine, but i did the squats. i was in DOMS city for 3 days.

so your brutal requirement will be surpassed.

It's a good thing I re-read that workout twice. I was going to squat for 1 minute with the dumb bells and was imagining the agony! It's a Saturday and I have lots of time, so I might go for a long and grueling leg workout and save the for mid-next week when I've only got an hour max.

Also Volcom is that the new DTH? 6 caps will probably be too much.

Yes, it will be the new DTH. It has a red coat, rather then the old-school, dirt pill look. They remind me of red, blue Genes. Same sized bottle, same sized caps.

When I was using the "old" DTH, I was taking 8 caps a day. The 6 a day of the new DTH will mostly like be alright with me. I can always adjust if it becomes out of hand, but I don't anticipate any problems

Roland was so gangster for trying this on his own. Thomas (Viking) has been the only other person who's tried it, and yes, DOMS city, USA is a guaranteed destination.

I'm looking to run my first test booster and having a tough time deciding, hehe. DTH is universally praised, BlueUp, Stoked! and the like are highly regarded as well... but I was wondering what you thought about the Invalid Link Removed at NP (T-Rez, Divanex, and T-Force).

You'll be fine. I don't think 6 caps per day will make you grow a third nipple or sh!t like that. LOL I believe you are going to fall in love with this new revised cycle. The DTHC and Tsunami (I like the Psunami, by the way) are going to put this thing over the top. Your workouts are gonna take on a new life now with the added aggression of the Diesel products. I'm also glad to hear that you're resting for a few days. Recharge those batteries and then leap back into the fray!!! :duel::numbered:
