Transformation & Physique Goal Challenge 2018! Let's get it done!!!

My method of attack has changed this week. After spending the weekend pooing and vomitting from a GI virus, I have found it easy to cut my carbs down to about 150g/day by basically eating nothing but muesli for breakfast - post workout -roast meat (lamb or beef) and steamed vegies for lunch, and chicken (pre prepared, like chicken nibbles, bbq chicken, butter chicken) with steamed veg for dinner. Trying to get my daily macros down to 200g protein, 150g carbs, 150g fat for less than 2800cal now.

"weekend pooing and vomitting from a GI virus" that sucks! but my abs always look better after a few dry heaves ! lol

Sorry for missing weekly update, got leveled by flu/sinus crap. Weight at 218, don’t know how due to no appetite and dehydration. First day back to the gym in a week and it felt amazing. Bring on the beginner gains!

Looking good guys! Man if I had started the workout I am doing now at the beginning of this I would be so much farther along on fat loss! I am expecting a lot more changes in the next month. Still going to make a run for it at the end.

I never did end up starting the HGH or any other PED, so I have been natty this whole time, which shows in the lack of significant progress too. I was tempted to jump on an oral for the final month just to make some really quick progress. However it is time for me to put up or shut up and do this whole thing natty to prove to myself I still have it in me. I don't expect to work miracles in the next month but I WILL look much better than I do now!!!!

Here is a quote from my log to give you an idea of the intensity involved in the new program. This is the body weight workout... Day 1 was upper body weights. Day 2 is full body body weight, Day 4 is Lower weights and day 5 is full body body weight again. Right now all rest periods are 45 seconds.

Last night was the body weight workout and I ended up doing the Airdyne instead of sprints due to the weather. I actually ended up doing more than I would have if sprinting because I did 10 second intervals when a 50y dash would only take me 5-6 seconds.

Warm up - I let the Airdyne be my warm up as it hits every muscle in the body, and I was going to start with Airdyne sprints anyway. So I did 3 songs on the Airdyne at nice pace to get warmed up then hit start on my HIIT timer and went to work...

1) Airdyne Interval Sprints 10 rounds 10 seconds sprint / 45 seconds rest
- By the end of this I kept pushing it but my pace was probably dropped off by 40%. I was huffing and puffing like crazy at the end of this and was already starting to drip sweat. Nice to start off a resistance training workout with HIIT!!! WTF!!!!

Full Body Calisthenics Complex x5 rounds, 45 seconds rest between rounds
2a) Mixed Grip Pull Ups x6
2b) Dips x 12
2c) Body Weight Squats x18
- this complex was challenging and again was pretty much HIIT... I was literally dripping sweat on the floor and had to do rest pauses on the last 2 sets of pull ups due to the fatigue. Two days of pull ups in a row with very short rest periods is putting it to my back, I can feel it today. Dips I started doing slow negatives, a small pause and then explode out of the bottom, but by the end I was just pushing to finish them. The squats weren't challenging in a weight aspect but a metabolic aspect... My legs were gassed already from the Airdyne sprints so they were just full of blood and fatigued to the max... The veins in my quads were showing all the way down the front of my thigh.

3a) Band Pull Aparts 4x25 - every other set done supinated.
3b) Hanging Leg Raises - 10, 10, 5 went to bent knee to complete the set x5, 10
Abs were toasty after this, no swinging involved on these, really tried to exercise a lot of control on the leg raises.

Airdyne 90 second sprints - 2 rounds, 3 minutes rest in between - Holy hell these were just abusive!!! I thought I was dying by 60 seconds of sprinting, and was sure I had gone to hell by the end of the 1st round! I spent the next 3 minutes trying to justify why I shouldn't do the second one. Then the alarm went off and it was go time! I was literally giving it everything I had, eyes closed and pushing with my all to finish it. I felt like I was barely moving by the end of it, but I was still moving at a decent pace. Talk about having to muster up mental toughness!

What kind of sadistic phuck opens with HIIT then closes with HIIT while keeping most of the rest of the workout basically HIIT!!!! Oh yeah the kind of guy I like programming my workouts! Make me uncomfortable and you make me stronger!!!!

Stick with the natty! I need some comp. Can't wait to see the progress pics. I need some motivation.
I weighed 209.8 last night. good thing is I'm not putting on fat. also hit my diet numbers 5 out of the last 7 days. pretty good for me the ultimate diet slacker.

Hey that's progress!!!!

Dang, I never would have made that connection. There he is!

I noticed him a while back too he plays another killer in a horror/suspense movie called Joy Ride with Paul Walker. He had an odd voice in that one too which made it more noticeable to me. He was also the Brian's supervising officer in the original The Fast and the Furious. After that I kind of noticed him in everything. He is a great character actor!

“Look Brian, Toretto is dangerous - he’s got nitrous in his veins and a gas tank for a brain!”

By the way, Joy Ride didn't do amazing in the box office but it was actually a pretty good and suspenseful movie.

Definitely see progress there bro, what’s the weight difference? Your chest looks bigger imo but you’ve clearly leaned out around the midrift

Not really sure to be honest. It may have stayed around the same. I feel like my love handles puffied up more over the last 2 weeks. That’s okay though since starting my cut this week i should see changes in the coming weeks. I won’t be messing around on the weekends anymore. Weekend warrior has been put on hold lol.

Awesome work man, can definitely see your gains
Thanks man! Im pretty happy with the progress. Obviously still not as lean as i would like to be but that parts coming. Takes a little longer for me to lean out, i can build muscle and get big pretty quickly but leaning out is a little more difficult. But im leaner than i was 2 months ago for sure. I just want my six pack back lol

My whole life I have wanted veins running down my arms, I just had to wait 60 years to get them.

218 this morning. Overall very dissalointe in myself. But trying the see the brighter side of things. In these past two weeks I have started a new job, after leaving the same one I have been at for the previous 11 years and worked 12 day since the 14th of may, including the past 7 straight and all being a 12 hour night shift. So these past 7 days i have not made it to the gym. Will be getting everything planned out this weekend and have a plan of how to make it all work. Invalid Link Removed

Here’s me currently. Dexa 2 weeks ago put me at 18% bf (for those that dont know me I used to be fat hence the weird loose skin going on).

Goal 1 is lean bulk (on cycle in March) and ideally get to 215lbs with same bf (currently 205) after pct.

Goal 2 is a 400lb squat (currently 352) and 500lb dead (current 440). Goal 2 is obviously massively ambitious in the timescales, realistically for this thread the aim is simply progress towards those numbers to hit them by year end.

Good luck to everyone - let’s get it smashed

Ok quick update pics for you - definitely less defined around the midriff, however, I’m 21lbs heavier in the current pics and running a relatively high dose of trest (along with epi). I’m pretty confident there’s a lot of water retention which I’m hoping will flush out in pct and that bf will have stayed similar. I’m not experienced enough to know if I’m right but it’s my educated guess (I’m also following the same training and calorie plan as I did on a 1/4/epiandro run where I got leaner so in theory.....) Strength is much higher so it sure as hell isnt all fat I’ve gained anyway.

Keep smashing it brothers, this thread is definitely helping my motivation seeing you guys all on it.....

Dates are all over the place. Was trying to find pictures which are comparable. What I noticed is my mid section had leaned out a bit more even though I am on a lean bulk. This helps my lats to spread out.

Please critique. I need some suggestions on where I could improve and what I can do to improve.

2 months ago was the end of my cut.

That's tough. But, I am sure you can get back and smash it. As said, a good plan will get things streamlined. Good luck
