New EVL Collab with Steve Aoki
ENGN Shred

Invalid Link Removed

I actually know a college kid that loves making music who mentioned he just bought this...didn’t say anything about Steve Aoki edition though!

Steve saw him coming a mile away

But I recall enjoying an old ENGN sample if memory serves, so hopefully it gets the job done for him.

You don't have to look like you workout to market an energy drink.
His following is massive at 14.8 MILLION followers on instagram alone
Do you realize how many non gym goers drink energy drinks? Put the face of your company's product in front of 15 million people. Tell me how much increased chance you have at selling it regardless if the person works out or not.

Yea I was just cracking a joke at the DJs expense. It's easy to market stuff to the masses. They will lap this **** up.

it's a good thing there was no internet in the 60-70's, as drugged out as everyone was back then they could have sold us anything with mr.natural on label, lol.

I know these aren’t new, but they’re new to me and wanted to share in case it helps anyone: these Keto Meltdowns are the best-tasting low cal energy drink I’ve ever had.

The Grape Blade Lemonade tastes like grape Crush soda. With all the electrolytes they are awesome for morning fasted cardio or brief training. Good feels.

Independence Cake Patriot’s Whey featuring red, white and blue sprinkles

Merica Labz plans to drop its Independence Cake Patriot’s Whey a few days before Independence Day on Monday the 1st of July.

I will be buying that day 1. I originally was hesitant to buy their whey due to only large tubs and price. I finally decided to not be so cheap and bought a tub of every flavor lately and have not been disappointed. Flavors are all pretty well done and a change of pace from standard flavors.

Flavors:
Orange Sherbet and the slightly more mysterious Guerrilla Blood.

Price Point:
$55 for 20 servings
yeah no thanks

Another product insanely priced?! Shocker .

A potential customer on their page was questioning their pricing and one of the employees said “Why dont you just try it?! If you sign up you get XX percent off.” Granted the customer said something along the lines of “Yea I might have to” but still, what kind of response is that??

His regular pre-workout is $55 for 20 Servings
His intra-workout is $70 for 20 servings
his pump product is $55

Now when his amino drops you are looking at a workout stack of $12 per workout

yeah.
NO

You don’t want to spend $60/wk on periworkout supplements? Shoot, 3 grand a year is a bargain - WHY DON’T YOU JUST TRY IT?!

Is that their direct price or retailer price?

I used to live next to the Guerrilla Chemist when I lived in Dallas. Super nice guy and extremely intelligent. It seemed like he had product plans with some other companies and plans fell through for some reason, so glad to see he's finally out there. You're definitely getting products that have been well thought out by a person who understands the science, but that is definitely a lot of cash to be spending.

The few times I've eaten ramen these days I've always wished there was a more nutritional option for how quick and easy it is to make. Low and behold someone thought the same. Vite ramen, company just started a year ago. Just check out this profile... Flavors go up to 30g of protein.
Price isn't too bad either, with shipping it averages out to $4 a pack.
Tastes good too

22 grams but the ingredients don’t add up to 21.:9 I’m guessing the extra or other ingredients take up the rest?

Fillers
Just like how his pre workout has 15g per scoop but only 8.9g of raw actives. That’s over 6g of fillers not listed on his label

Hate things like this... I use to do his hair, he came in each 3rd week of the month so I can spray it a different color.. he very smart guy...always tipped me

What is that long ingredient in the middle?

Never mind, I found it, what a scam. Clearly trying to make it sound way more scientific than it is

Chemix has included the all-new Endo-Pump in its pump pre-workout at a dose of 800mg. As for what Endo-Pump actually is, on the label it is listed as a blend of three ingredients with pomegranate written as punica granatum, epicatechin, and icariin, although on the King Of Pumps label it goes by its lengthier chemical name.

All I am thinking looking at this is I can buy the ramen for 10 cents/pack at Sam’s Club, drink a scoop of Dymatize Iso 100 (also bought there), and have one of my 3 tablet servings of Orange Triad...and only spend $1.50/meal while consuming higher quality protein & multi

Gimmicks...

The pump product doesn’t look bad at all but very expensive. However, his pre workout’s profile was pretty much a joke and a disappointment being the first product launched in his line.

This argument/point can be made for pre workouts as well. Cheaper to source a bunch of individual ingredients and mix them up instead of buying a pre-made pre-workout.

(okay not exactly the same, but close)

I would try this!

I believe they are listed in the label, under other ingredients directly below the nutritonal profile

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed this.

Something seems odd...
Its listed under the nutritional label itself. Invalid Link Removed

I think the formula looks badass, preworkout I would never buy but this looks good. Would wait for a sale but items like NovaPump run at $50 for 20servings not sure why he’s getting such a bad wrap.

I am not a fan of sugar alcohol !!

Same. I can’t digest them at all. Protein bars with them seem to always mess me up - at least the high dose ones

And it's higher in empty calories than table sugar !!

The formula looks pretty good go to me. It’s wayyy over priced, but I would buy it if it was under $30 bucks.

Edit: now seeing the sugar alcohols in it I will pass on it even on a 50% off sale. Those tear my stomach up.

5th Coldstone Creamery BSN Syntha-6 Flavor
Cookie Doughn’t You Want Some

I'm sure it's very high in calories !!

Yeah, 25 grams of protein should be 100 calories and this is double that. I will have to pass. I'm sure it is a delicious weight gainer.

Yes and when I ordered them I did not realize the Calorie Count so it took me quite some time to use them up. Just trying to help others from making the same mistake !!

I had the same problem until I started taking high doses of probiotics.

Influence of Probiotics on Dietary Protein Digestion and Utilization in the Gastrointestinal Tract.

Abstract

Protein is essential to growth and metabolism. Many factors influence dietary protein digestion and utilization in the gastrointestinal tract. Probiotics have attracted increasing attention in recent years owing to their broad health benefits, which may include a positive influence on the digestion and utilization of proteins. Several observations support their potential role in protein digestion. For example, probiotics can regulate the intestinal microflora and thereby influence intestinal bacteria related to proteolysis. Probiotics can also induce host digestive protease and peptidase activity, and some can release exoenzymes involved in the digestion of proteins. In addition, probiotics can improve the absorption of small peptides and amino acids by improving the absorption ability of the epithelium and enhancing transport. Furthermore, probiotics can reduce harmful protein fermentation and thus decrease the toxicity of metabolites. In this review, the roles of probiotics in intestinal protein digestion and utilization and the potential mechanisms underlying these effects are discussed.

I was talking strictly protein bars with sugar alcohols. No issue for me digesting protein bars without them. :)

I do like digestive enzymes + probiotics before large meals, though. Maybe even add in some Gentian
