No one asked for a ton of free stuff. I work and pay for what I need. I provided an example of great customer service. How you relate that to me wanting a ton of free stuff is beyond the scope and purpose of my post.
Any good company will take comments or feedback, negative or positive, and hopefully use that to better themselves. If a company is not willing to have their "problems" appear in a public forum, then they should eradicate such problems...especially when they effect their customers.
Had the website mentioned that a particular product was out of stock, I would have ordered elsewhere and not wasted my time. Had they sent an email that such product was out of stock, I would have understood. But to accept my money and be left in limbo expecting products and they don't show up due to an unmentioned out of stock item is poor.
Do mistakes happen? Sure they do. Yet with the advent of technology, communication is one of the easiest things to do. Yet there was none about this product being out of stock.
Since my first post, I have received reps and emails from credible members stating similar experiences. I'm not here to sugarcoat, a-ss kiss, or make anyone look bad. I'm also not here for free products. Simply stating the truth. If a company does great...Im going to post about it. If they do poorly..Im going to post about that too.
