Supplements for Lucid/Vivid Dreams?

If you're really going all out, here's the stack I would recommend...

1. Vitamin b5 (pantothenic acid) megadose >2000 mg right before bed - I personally started taking this for acne, and I can vouch that it makes your pores smaller, prevents acne, aids in fat metabolism and it's even been demonstrated in studies to boost testosterone. Poliquin recommends it in a lot of his protocols. It's water solube so it isn't dangerous and it's just a generally all around good supp to be on. First time you take it, your dreams will be mindblowing.

2. GABA/Phenibut - These two I have some hesitancy in recommending. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Pretty much this means it works to prevent your nervous synapses from firing, and this has the subjective effect of calming you down. Benzodiazepines (like xanax) act on the GABAergic system, which is why they exert a sedative effect. GABA itself supposedly can't cross over the blood brain barrier that effectively, so phenibut is GABA with a phenyl ring around the molecule (GABA = gama aminobutyric acid, phenibut = β-Phenyl-γ-aminobutyric acid) which allows it to pass through the BBB much more efficiently. Pure GABA without the phenyl ring will mostly effect the tissues outside of your brain, so it will physically calm you without directly acting on the neurons in your brain. While it should be respected, it is likely not habit forming or dangerous if taken correctly. Phenibut, however, can be thought of as weak, non-regulated xanax. I've seen benzo addiction first hand and it's nothing to play with. I'm not going to tell you not to take phenibut, but I personally stick with GABA, and that works just fine. If your goal is some trippy dreams and you don't plan on supplementing these compounds regularly, maybe for broke and take about 3000 mg of GABA one night along with the other supps in this protocol. With no tolerance, it should make for a wild night.

3. L-dopa - This is another one, like Phenibut, that is seen as a completely benign supp but ought to be respected. Not to scare you off, but it has the potential to **** you up, so responsibility is the key word. Dopamine can't directly cross the blood brain barrier, so like phenibut with GABA, L-dopa works to increase brain concentrations of dopamine. Dopamine is a key player in the reward system of the brain. Your brain likes dopamine. It also likes cocaine, meth, and heroin. There are a few studies with some pretty scary reports of parkinsons patients (which L-dopa is used to treat) becoming addicted to their medication and taking it to levels that induce psychosis. If you take it with regularity, dont adjust the dosages dramatically and gently ween yourself off when discontinuing it, you should be fine. L-dopa can be found in mucuna pruriens, the active in USP lab's "Powerfull" which is marketed to increase HGH and improve sleep. The price is a little steep though, I'd say this one is worth shopping around a little bit for an alternate source.

Also, don't take ZMA, save yourself 30 bucks and just get some zinc and magnesium from Wal-Mart.

True that I was not really thinking about the zma.. just make sure its the bioavailable kind.. oxide isn't the best to obsorb idk if taking more would help, it makes since that it should but idk for sure off the top of my head

Poseidon Night Time gave me some great, great sleep and some wild dreams! A great product for sure

This x 1000. The degree of lucidity by month 2 of Poseidon NT was ridiculous. Lucid dreams EVERY SINGLE NIGHT at the end of my run. I don't know how, but the effects are additive, as I felt minimal effects at the beginning and had unbelievably deep sleep at the end.

Melatonin is usually enough to get me dreaming real weird. ZMA too, though i rarely use either. Stilton cheese eaten before bed supposedly produces some really wild dreams from what I hear.

GHenerate gave me the weirdest/most bizzare dreams of the various 'sleep aids' I've tried so far...

Cabergolean, EndoAmp and Ghenerate.

Cabergolean and EndoAmp is a stack I'm running now and my usual 1-2 lucid dreams per month have increased. I don't practice lucid dreaming or else I'm sure I would have more.

And the Ghenerate I just know works very well for deep sleep and I always remembered dreams when using it.

Honestly I would advise regular sleep patterns and meditation. You don't need supplements to alter your state of consciousnesses or control your dreams, you just need to understand what you're doing. Research a bit.

Aniracetam, phenibut and melatonin will all have strong impacts on your dreams while sleeping. Aniracetam would be the first one to try imo and can be used longer term without issues, .75-1.5G pre bed

I stay away from attempting lucid dreaming as night terrors have happened before. Its worth the risk though.

Dude you want some reallllllly lucid dreams? Drink a bunch of fluorinated water and when you sleep it will slightly paralyze your pinil glad (sp?) Its responsible for the secretion of saratonin and when its paralyzed it cannot do its job. You will have some crazy ass very realistic and scary dreams.
Also, eat a bunch of cheese before bed too.

I just bought some of this stuff called Alpha Brain. It's quite expensive and I hesitated for a long time, but after countless rave reviews, I gave it a shot. It definitely works to a certain degree and is really solid for learning...I went to a marketing conference, took some with breakfast, and I was very surprised with how much I remember (3 days long, sometimes it's very easy to zone out).

In terms of lucid dreaming, it definitely works. It's almost scary, as in you feel like you are LIVING in the dream and you're very aware that it's a dream, but it feels real. I was flying on a dragon, with a sword in one hand, a mace in the other, and I was literally pillaging villages that were on clouds. It was awesome, until someone else on a dragon came looking for me and it literally felt like a giant black knight, on a fire breathing dragon, was trying to kill me.

Ingredients are as follows:

GPC Choline....100mg
Huperzia Serrata...50mg
Vinpocetine...5mg
AC-11...350mg
Bacopa....500mg
Pterostillbene...250mcg
Mucuna Pruriens...200mg
GABA...300mg
Oat Straw (10:1)...300mg
Vitamin B6...15mg

Called a "Complete, Balanced Nootropic"

Worth trying out, although I happen to know that I have optimal neurotransmitter levels, so the effects will be more acute after the first several days.

Poorly formulated product IMO. A user named "Alpha Mind" bought "Alpha Brain." Coincidence? I think not!

Jk...post history is clean :D.

I had two samples of HghPro. Took them on back to back nights and had the most violent dreams of my life. Crazy!

endosurge makes me dream that i am sleeping with porn starlets......best vivid dreams i have ever had-'vivid' dreams, lol-pun intended!!!!

Powerfull and Endoamp together works pretty good. Love the deep rest and recouperation from Powerfull too. Id like to find something that would equal or ***** it.

try some endosurge!!! beats the hell outta powerful, imo....and i WAS a fan of powerful.

I haven't tried nootropics pre-bed, yet. I do have some phenibut that I haven't gotten into. I need to bust open my samples of HGHPro sometime here.

The best dreams I've gotten have been from PowerFull and Somnidren Ultra. Somnidren actually beat out PF for me. I'd highly recommend it.

Anyone else thinking DMT?
acually thats EXACLY what i was thinking but more so 5MEO-DMT .
but I was debating sayng it lol.
hey its legal where I live so screw you all lol.

malarone gave me wild dreams, but that was for malaria prevention
i stick to ZMA and melatonin

how do you wake up in the morning after these types of supps? i get so groggy in the morning from 5htp, gaba, l-dopa, valerian, etc

I usually pop out of the bed right away in the morning if I took L-dopa, but I definately know what you mean about the GABA, I feel half paralyzed when I wake up after a big dose.

I'll second Ghenerate as giving very vivid dreams consistently. Also x-dream 2 if anybody has any left over.

1-Carboxy always gave me some crazy dreams. Followed by Somnidren with ZMK, and also REDuction PM had me sleeping very deep when i took it.

Millennium Sports Technology Somnigren GH all the way. Use as directed. Don't try and milk the bottle. Four pills works awesome. I also take it with the ZMK. Invalid Link Removed
