AWESOME MAN!! Love the engine pics!! I'd run a cold air intake from the fender well up to the air cleaner if ya can, should help, as long as it's not wet out!! There's gotta be a lot of hot air floating around there, that should help flush it out. Keepin' that hood stock will definitely be the limiting factor, but it'll make for a sweet sleeper!! Did a Procharger kit on my buddies 2000 Trans Am, kit worked well, had the dual radiators, and diablo chip custom tuned after we blue printed the engine. Had the LS-1 in it, I believe. Was a sweet ride until it got smashed by a drunk driver and sucked up gravel. I remember my buddy calling me at like 3 in the morning and thinkin' "This phone call can't be good", and it wasn't. Me, I always do handling and brakes first, just cause I want it ready to handle all that power (that a little 4 banger can put out,lol). I'm happy if it doesn't go fast, as long as it handles like it's on rails. Yuo should see if there are any SCAA groups in your area, great wealth of knowledge and cool courses to put your babies through!! How's Saphire these days?
Day 9
Starting to feel the libido rise more and more, which is cool, because I have a day off to do something about it!! Seems like I'm not as sore after a workout, and that's a plus. I'll keep pushing to see if that's true, or if it's just because there's more time between workouts. Might be a bit of both.
Hammer Strength Shoulder Presses: (unilateral) 140x6x3x1*, 105x8x4x2, 70x9x4x2, 35x10. *= PR, or back to where I was when I was 50+lbs heavier, so I'm REALLY quite happy. These weren't full range, but arms parallel.
3 minutes moderate cardio
Seated Dumbell Presses: (Dropsets) 65x9,55x4,45x5,35x5,25x8,15x10 These were full range for everything after 55lbs. Felt good, and really forced myself to keep my arms pulled back.
Seated Cable Alternating Laterals: 20x8x3x1, 15x3x1x1, 5x8. Didn't really rest too much between this and the prior workout, only long enough to suck down some water and set up a bench by the cable station. Had some serious buring action going on with my delts, felt great!!
DC Shoulder Stretch
Front and Back Alternating Barbell Shrugs: 405x5x3x1, 315x12x6x3, 225x12x6x3, 135x12. Traps were pretty sore from deads the other day, I was hoping to shrug a bit more, but, oh well. Grips is still suffering form sore forearm flexors, had to use alternate grip to get this one done, so I'm kinda pissed about that. I'm going to hazard a guess that it will be a few more months before they get better, as the one in my left arm is feeling about 80% since it began in April, then it happened to my right arm,grrrr!! Not near as painful flipping up the dumbells for chest or shoulder work, or close grip t-bar rows.

Dumbell Shrugs: 140x8x4x2, 120x4x2x1, 100x4x2x1, 80x6x3x1, 60x10 (with static hold)
These felt great!! It alwasy cracks me up the looks I get when I grab the 140's, since I'm a small guy, and even funnier when I don't use lifting straps. once I can get 10 for a few workouts, I'll bump up with some magnetic add-ons, the highest we have is 140lbs.
That was pretty mcuh it for my workout. I did reverse pec deck stuff, but I honestly can't remember what most of the numbers where, as my buddy I was talking to kept adjusting it, and my mind was wondering. Basically, did a long drop set. Back is pretty tight today, did some stretches to loosen it up. Traps are letting me know I used em' yesterday, I'm thinking that tomorrow will be rough, but that lets me know I'm growing!! About an hour after my workout, mowed down 1/2 a Miller's double roast beef hoagie, extra peppers and a banana. Fixin' to have a whey shake with some peanut butter in a few hours after that and some lean steak for dinner with some brussel sprouts. Weight is holding steady, but I'm noticing lifts are easier, so we'll see how I'm doing next workout/day and adjust my intake as needed. If I'm growing, don't want to short change myself.
