good depth on the front squats!
I hope next week fully rested, with proper glute warm-up to add 20 pounds to my fronts. We'll see.
Today me and Punthra hooked up with some boys doing a powerlifting style shoulder workout.
Started off trying to do power cleans where you pop up the weight and finish in a shoulder press position. Ive never done these and the "pop" portion was tough for my bodybuilder instinct to embrace.
The push press was done with a pop up for the first rep then shoulder pressing the weight up from chin level.
Power cleans: 135x3, 155x3, 185x3, 185x3
Push press: 135x5, 155x5, 175x4, 155x5, 135x5, 155x2
Dumbell laterals: 25x10, 30x10, 20x10, 25x10
Bent over rear delt flyes: 10x10, 15x10, 20x10, 15x10 supered with rear delt rows.
Upright rows: 70x10, 90x10, 100x7 superset 60x8.
Planks: 1:10, 1:00 done with 30 seconds rest.
I moved stuff out of a basement for two hours before heading to the gym with no food in my stomach. I am moving and slept in so i had to go hard to get what i needed to in time for my workout. I weighed 192 clothed today. Ill charge my camera tonight so i can get the "video log" portion back on track.
The other boys put up bigger numbers the heaviest push press was 225 x4, and punthra finished his push press with a set of 135x16 down to his chin with no momentum.
