SNS Agmatine verses USP Yoked for vasodilation/pumps

I have tried Agmatine by SNS 500mg prior to working out and this stuff puts me in a really bad frigging mood for about 2 days. Yes its really bad. I have read that its supposed to put you in a good mood but I respond exactly the opposite.

Not sure I would directly correlate this to Agmatine. After all, roid rage has been shown to be a myth as well.

Too many variables that could affect your mood.

If it's for two days from 500mg at 210 lbs then you have some inherent issue, and I would stay away from nootropics/NMDA agonist/antagonists.

No it was definately the Agmatine. I tried it a couple of times and had the same issue. I know it works because it works great for 2 friends of mine. Agmatine makes me a complete jerk off and I know now to stay away from it.

I do not think 2 days is enough time to pinpoint your anger and rage to a supplement you just tried. Like Mr. Cooper said though, if it truly is the case than you need to stay away from nootropics and the like.

I didn't say it's not the agmatine. You have a pre-existing issue that the agmatine is affecting.

Def would look into it, if you havent tried it

Hey if you don't get m1p then run some agmatine lol

Haha

no, no preexisting condition. it just does not agree with me!
Dude... When everyone reacts one way to something and you react to it the exact opposite..... you have a condition....

Yes its aggravated by agmatine... doesnt change the fact... you need to ask your doc whats up...

Yeah man. I'd see a doctor. The number of individuals who have consumed Agmatine through MAN Blueprint, and our brand alone we've yet or at least I've yet to see anyone respond in the manner that you have. Personally taking 500mg-2g a day I haven't experienced any negative mood swings... In fact, when I take it with 150g carbs (500mg-1g) it seems to have a very positive effect on my mood. It's a great product and hopefully after you speak with your doctor you'll be able to pinpoint the problem. If it is the Agmatine, I apologize that you're unfortunate enough to have to stop taking it, but your health is more important then a good solid pump.

As for other users/future users, I def suggest trying it out. For $20 and dosed @ 500mg you'll have enough for 40 days, and @ 750mg(What I suggest personally) it'll last a full thirty days. If you can afford to dose it everyday @ 750mg, I suggest you do. If not, 750mg 45-1 hour pre-workout or with your highest carb meal of the day and you'll be extremely satisfied.

Be on the lookout for several new SNS product in the future. We're here to provide solid, quality ingredients that deliver results. We're not here to provide crappy raws and cut corners like this industry has a reputation for.

eh... I tried a few doses... saw no pumps... and actually got some bp headaches only 15-20 min after dosing each time... not worth a look IMO

This is just incorrect, everyone in the industry knows more of anything is always better. As Ron Burgundy would say, "it is science!" :)

exactly why I dose my super drol 50mg/day for 12 weeks

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. If it doesn't agree with you in particular than you DO have some condition (not saying it's a disease) that makes you sensitive to nootropics or compounds that affect the NMDA.

I don't think you need to see a doctor as it is not an "illness." There is obviously genetic variation between individuals. Just like there are creatine non-repsonders due to naturally high intramuscular PCr, you likely have a slightly different brain chemistry from the norm. Variation is expected in society and it is nothing to worry about; if agmatine doesn't agree with you, it's just another one to cross off the list.

Still. Its a strange occurence so seeing a doctor isnt a bad idea to pinpoint the cause. I would wanna know the cause.

Yes, but there are also risks for taking doses like 5g and I would not recommend that to anyone. I wouldn't exceed 2g/day personally. As far as pumps/endurance go, 1g seems to do the trick for me at 200 lbs. The glucose disposal effects are a different story and I don't doubt that I may need 1.5g to elicit the full benefits of that.

Right, and if it works at 1 gram a day why take more?. More isn't always better regardless of what the "bodybuilding community" says. I could see a bodybuilder type guy now saying "I usually take 1-2 Ibuprofen, but I figured if I took 12 my headache would go away much faster...".

Bodybuilders have a knack for taking things to the extreme :D

Hey Mr.Cooper, does this stuff work on a low-carb diet?.

Yes.

The pump aspect is what most ppl like. I've done 750mg daily in the AM. I love it.

It does. You likely won't experience the nutrient partitioning benefits, but taking agmatine on a low carb diet amplifies the benefits of increased LH/Gh release, so it has its merits in both scenarios. And let's not forget the killer pumps and mood support :D

Preciesly. It promotes everything from neural health to pain management, not to mention its positive effects on the kidneys, pancreas, and overall antioxidant activity.

ohh did not know all that .. i love the stuff, and feel really good on my cycle

yes I am not denying that it has positive effects on the body. I know it works from friends of mine. Your just hearing the good parts of it. Just because I have a negative response to something does not mean that I need medical attention. I am not the only one who responds negatively with it. The only study on this stuff was done on rats and some of the rats had permenant changes to the brain in the cerebral cortex. All you have to do is search AGMATINE SIDE EFFECTS and you'll find the study within the first or second page!

My friend, you can read above. I never said you need medical attention; in fact, I said that you SHOULD NOT seek out a doctor for this as you have no illness. I've seen that study and it has been discussed to great lengths on another forum if you want me to link you via PM. You are in a very small minority who responds poorly to agmatine, and it is usually this same constituency that responds poorly to nootropics and gets anxious while on DAA. You don't have a medical condition; neuromudolator and nootropics just aren't for you.

Maybe its just becasue I hold some company biases but Agmatine waaaaaaaaaaay over Yoked. I lost interest in USP but have faith in SNS.

Id like to try some of App Nutz products.

Stack agmatine with App Nut Drive for some crazy pumps, in the gym and the bedroom :D.

And by bedroom he means alone time with Pamela HANDerson...

i read something on how agmatine has synergistic effects with nootropics?

maybe the more reason to use pre workout

I thought agmatine WAS a nootropic in and of itself?
