Snag's New 'USPlabs Asteroid Armageddon Assault'

Father's day is going to be one of my only 2 higher carb days during the week. There will be some eating done! Within reason of course.

yeah, I get my last carb meal before bed SAT night, then I'm running thru an experimental 6-day 'peak week' type prep in an effort to perfect my approach..really have high hopes for this scheme. final pics and end of log is SAT the 27th.

That's interesting when it involves these supps were using my thinking it must be much easier to get hard and tight, what with Prime making you hard and tight on it's on and using AP and Pslin on top of that to carb load. Will be watching closely...

oh for sure, lotta options when you got these things to play with! :D
my anality loves to see what dietary changes invoke on the body, so that's mainly what I'll be manipulating next week. no other support supps, just diet/water tweaks..that'll set me up for another 4-week lean bulk (off all supps), and then I should be in good shape to roll into contest prep should I choose to do so.

:wall:

We will be watching! I cant wait to take a peek the peak pics.
If you were to cut down for a show right now about how much heavier do you think you would be than your last competition weight?

hmm..I would say at least 10-12lbs, and probably closer to 15.
weight's at 194.6 this morning upon rising, I'm guessing after some manipulation I'll be 188-ish next SAT..
I'm DEF a lightheavy now! :D

I've decided to end my Product X run now instead of next week. Since I'm changing the goals for the next week, I'll save this for down the road..
This product has truly been a revelation to me in terms of natural test boosters, and has proven to be the missing link in my supplementation attack. The past few yrs I've used Diesel Test Hardcore and ThermoLife's E-Bol (and of course other things like supplementing w/ straight Ashwagandha and Ecdysterone, etc.), and while I enjoyed those products, quite simply -- there is no comparison to the X.
I think the roughly 11-week run I've done here has shown the changes and progression made throughout..now with some shredding coming on, I can't wait to show out final pics next week! :wave2:

Uh oh...that's my weight category!!!

Sporto

Amazing results for a natural athlete. Most would be happy with a couple pounds. This is unprecedented... I know I expect to be in the neighbourhood of 20 lbs heavier than my last competition and leaner too. Mine was a long time ago though.

So product X is something that would not go well when cutting Snag? To keep the size on while dieting...or would the lower cals defeat it's purpose.

Not at all..I been slow-cutting this whole time Mid.
DEF a no-brainer for a lean/all-out bulk, strength gains should extrapolate out nicely.
I'm just at a point where I'm gonna slice the intake back and focus on something else for a week, and I think at 11 weeks I've gotten what I need to out of it. I'm focusing on the long-range goal of bringing it back after some down time as well.

Yeah I'm pretty pleased DW! :006: Glad I stuck with it.

I was guessing around that. Man you are really looking Jack3d! ;) I am going to be chasing on your heels one day. I think I will be around 183-185 for my next comp the way things are going currently but who knows what may happen on my next Asteroid Stack while I am eating to bulk a little. Congrats man you look thick and dense like a rock.

Would you say that the strength gains of product X are similar to Prime in which they sneak up on you?

Clear...that's what I thought!
Hey Snag..I have final pics on post #2. I am happy with 6 lbs!

Yah who knows... that's what I keep on thinking, my estimates are actually pretty conservative for myself as my experience with these products tell me to expect more. It just seems so out there that in a year I could supercede these estimates.

hmm..never tried to take a pic of the forearm before..kinda weird, but here's one of each. don't really work these guys much directly, they just grow. once again, not in Cena's league, but I'm pleased with them.
[okay Ms. Dragon, I promise that'll be the last pic till I'm done with this log!]

OK, a broken promise didn't kill anyone :o

Those forearms look MIGHTY indeed !

INCREEEEEEDIBLE !!!! :D

:D

Well, day #1 of my 'peak week' protocol went well I guess. Had some hunger issues, even tho I was eating 7 meals. But it was precise, and I didn't stray. And some incredible cuts came in overnight, it's cool..didn't weigh myself this morning (forgot to), but it feels like I'm drying up a tad.
Total body workout this morning, and I got to incorporate a gift I got for Father's Day -- the Perfect Push-Up, from my wife. (She got me the Perfect Pull-Up last yr.) It was the perfect peice of equipment to put into play today, as I go for glycogen depletion and move to high pump reps, nothing to failure, little rest. I was supersetting leg ext + perfect pushup off bench, leg curls + perfect pushup wide grip (reverse motion) off bench, and calves + close-grip perfect pushup off bench. I was winded quickly! :684: Those PPU grips are cool as hell, I dig the rotation wrist immensely!

That is the raised bar push up handles that rotate and allow you a much deeper range of motion. Kind of like doing pushups on books but you get the benefit of rotating your wrists as well or varying the angle without having to reset your hands. Doing them off a bench Snags... NICE!!!

Prefect pushup... have to google that ...

Yah I looked it up ... they look slick!!

They are cool for sure.

So day #2 of diet schematic yesterday, same as the first..as is today. Energy levels were a smidge low this morning, feeling the reduced fare. Still plowed thru bi/tri/shoulders/back/ab workout, same format as yesterday (supersets, low rest, hi pump-reps, nothing to failure). Good sweat, solid pump, pretty pleased with the vein action. Weight was 192.3 upon waking.

Just a lil random pic for this morning.. :D

Seriously Snag... rubbing salt in the wound guy! Nice stash, like to see the new larger bottles from GNC in there as well.

Whats your address snag?:ntome: hahah but seriously that picture makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside:love:

me too! ;) those bonus size bottles are the shiznit, and I can't wait to pick up the stack again after my off-cycle and run those stronger Prime caps..mmmmmmm..
I ended Prime/Jack3d/Recreate Wednesday btw, so running only PowerFULL, and AP for now, Pslin tomorrow, then break time. I'll continue to run SuperCissus, 4-6 daily as need, as I continue tennis and baseball.

Have you decided how your going to run the bigger caps yet....

I've got 2 bottles now of the 800mg caps. I was gonna start with 6 on lifting days and work up to 9. I've been debating over whether or not to dose on recovery days though.

From a Prime-Veteran's standpoint, is off-day dosing recommended?

I do I don't see why not. Remember 6 of the new is like 8 of the old, you should be able to stay on that dose for at least 4 weeks and get tremendous results. I don't start ramping till week 5. I think maybe a extra pill on workout days only for weeks 5 and 6 and go up from there.

Perfect! I figured the new higher dose would really be to my advantage, so I've only been getting 800mg bottles. Thanks for the input - can't wait to start things up in a month!

absolutely bro, I highly recommend every day dosing.
so much to gain in recovery from keeping the system saturated, let alone continued repartitioning. it's the only way I'll ever dose! ;)

Do you recommend that for a first time user as well?

yes.
the 'Prime 69 Protocol' is a good fit for most users, esp first-timers.
(6 on off days, 9 on training days..)
of course, this can be dialed back a bit if desired with the new dosage..maybe it needs to be called 'Prime 58' or 'Prime 47' now.
not quite as catchy huh.. :dunno:

man, I am hardening up quite rapidly as this day goes along, feel like freaking steel right about now! :28:
dietary changes were spot on, and I learned some things this week.
not quite lean enough for showtime or anything, but I think the pics will show out good tomorrow.

What about us po folk who only have one bottle? I can go 30 days at 6 ON, 2 days off, or 20 days at 6 daily throughout. Would you suggest I perhaps took at least 1 cap on the off days then?

nah. if you want to conserve the quantity, don't cheat on the quality my friend! I'd run the 6/2 split over the 1 cap on off days scheme.

I should have gone to downtown L.A. during the Laker's riot and ransacked me a GNC.

juuuust kidding :nervous: but I'd be thinking it.

Wife wanted to play some tennis this morning, so after my pancakes, maple syrup & sausage with banana and OJ combo, we headed out and got a 2hr match in, pics after I got back (nice & sweaty, haha)..
Weight was 188.3 upon waking this morning, cutting water once again had a dramatic effect.

The first thing that strikes me is muscle hardness and how well porportioned you look. Yah just a shade off contest lean I guess, but you would still look great if you stepped on stage now. When your hard like that you just look so much leaner than those that aren't.

Thanks my friend. My synopsis: didn't like the end result. I've figured out cutting water and all these dramatic carb shifts are for the birds..if you allow the proper time to be conditioned properly, you just bring it on in slowly, small adjustments. These dramatic shifts just wreak too much havoc on my muscle retention.
Now, I didn't pump up at all prior to those pics, and I was not posing thru the last week (creating addtl muscle hardness) cuz I was too busy, so it wasn't like it was a full-blown prep.
(this makes me appreciate your comment re. muscle hardness even more DW!)
But, if I do any more comps in the future, I will not be doing anything drastic to get into peak condition. Proper planning eliminates the need for that.
