gracias señor! :006:

and on that note..pumped after the chest session today.
going into hardening portion of the diet for 5-7 days, figure it's a good time to tighten things up after last night's foray.. :o
ahh, wasn't too bad really. did have a bit of pasta tho, linguine w/ shrimp, chicken and sausage in an alfredo sauce..had some fried calamari too, lightly breaded. broccoli to help out a bit. :)
weight was actually right @200 this morning, surprisingly.
so anyway, the satfat is eliminated from the shakes for now, and it's 6 meals/day (no MassMaker). BCAA's are back in play pre/intra/post workout.

Fukkin' A!!!:clap2: And please excuse my language. But what a pump!! You could just sit your shaker cup on those upper pecs and drink from it !!
And your cheat meal actually has my mouth watering right now. Chicken and sausage in alfredo sauce.....drool.
Tempted to cheat today.........can't do it. I've shed 6 lbs. since Christmas feasting so gotta keep it going.

LOL!
TG and his chi.
I appreciate that man.

now - no cheating for you! :nono:
watch your portion of greens. ;)

No. Not cheating. Baking some fish right now. Damn it, just damn it!! LOL
And no greens either.:aargh: :frustrate Ran out almost week ago. Gotta run out to the field and pick some more. ;)

oh, forgot to list the chest training format today, was a lil different, liked it alot.
just 2 exercises for chest:

incline BB bench
135/185/225/235/245/255/265/275/185/135

reps range started at 15 till I hit 235 (where I got 13) and ended at 275 for 6; then, quick sets of 185 (x8) and 135 (x8) with little rest at the end.

followed with flat DB flyes, 3x12/12/10

 toasted! :eek5:

6 sets abs (4 weighted, 2 bodyweight)
20min moderate cradio to finish

Looks alot like German Volume training except just one exercise. I had great results on that routine. Log is looking good snag; I can't match TG's enthusiasm but I'm dedicated and am always reading. Keep up the solid workouts!

I certainly felt volumized! ::beerchug: good call.

always good to have you drop in, my friend. :wave2:

as for that enthusiasm level of yours, no worries - bro, I don't think anyone on AM is as exuberant as TG! :D

Oh you guys. :grouphug:

I'm just somewhat ADHD/OCD. Accounts for some of the enthusiasm. :Eyecrazy: :jester:

Now that is the way to get a pump. Only other difference between that and GVT is they se a 4-0-2 tempos and the same weight all the way through the workout. Honestly I got such good results from that. However I don't think I could do it with todays NO supps. I got so full and pumped from that without any NO supps I think my skin would split doing it now. That and I don't have the time to commit in the gym. Those workouts took some time to complete. Although if you still want to grow and your tendons are feeling shot GVT is right up your alley. Workout just takes more than 60 minutes.

Now I will try to match TG's exuberance... Way to bring it SNAGS pump is rididculous. You are like a berzerker released on the weights. ThunderGod say way to slam those Hammers down!

yup, one of the facets I bring to many of my training schematics is static weight x reps x sets format. I'm a huge fan.
makes it all that more fun when I pyramid the weights! keeps the mind fresh, and I embrace muscle confusion as well.

@ 53min today, inc. abs & cardio. kept rests @90sec thruout for inclines till last 3 sets (20 sec rests for those); 60sec for flyes, 45sec for abs.
not too shabby - I don't care for extending the workout much longer than this.

another sweet day of rest! :booty:
wouldn't have worked out today even if I could - my freaking chest is just torched! :dead:
chomping at the bit to bring PowerFULL back, but I'll be patient, another 10 days. :bandit:

Nice work blasting through that! The GVT takes a bit longer though due to rest and more volume. GVT is 10 sets of 10 1 exercise using around 60 of your 1 rep max, but it is 2 body parts and you take 90 second between sets while alternating from the one body part to the other. Effectively the muscle gets 3 minutes rest but the body only rests 90 seconds at a time and the muscle worked are set up oppsing to increase the pump. Then there is 3 sets on a second exercise for each body part. Same rest periods. It ends up taking a while. But if you have the time there is a lot of size to be gained from it. Splits are, Chest and Back, Biceps Tricep and shoulders at the end. Then quads, hamstrings and calves for the biceps tri and shoulders the shoulders are done laterals and rear lateral at the end. With the legs it is calves at the end for 3 sets.

yeah, there's no doubt one should grow on that! :yup:
nice schematic. does get into extended time tho, I can see that. :study:

maybe recomp, but not all-out cut.
you'd want to up the reps, shorten the rest, pick up the pace in a cut.
I prefer super and tri-sets at that point.
also want to train more frequently than that allows for.

I pretty much echo what Snags said. Awesome for mass or recomp, for a cut you would want to cut rest times do less sets per exercise and more body parts per workout to use more energy and to frequency of training.

crushed the legs today, good cardiovascular session as well..

DB jump squats, 5x10-12
DB Romanian DL, 5x10-12
leg extension ss w/ leg curl, 2x10-12
standing BB calf raises, 3x15-20 (toes straight/out/in)

rests at 90sec for squats/deads, 60sec for extension/curl ss, and 60sec for calves.

wheels are just screaming at me right now! :aargh:

I bet, that looks like an all out war.

shoulders today, solid workout..
was one of them sessions where you don't realize how hard you're going, you're just zoned in, workmanlike effort, and then pow! you realize sweat is just dripping profusely in your eyes, stinging, and you're like 'whoa, guess I am having a good workout!' :D

seated BB military, 5x10-12
DB front raises, 3x10-12
DB laterals, 2x12
bent DB raises, to front 2x12
DB shrugs, 3x15

20min moderate cardio.

Basic and brutal... the shit that really works!!
Nice stuff here Snag The Iron Slayer!!!

I'm outta control.

:wizard:

but I WANT SOME POWERFULL!!! :aargh:

It really does make quite a difference on our recovery doesn't it. I am ready for some PowerFULL myself too.

well in the mean time, wouldn't bulk 1-C make a decent substitute for powerFULL? i know it's got a putrid taste, but it's waaaaay cheaper and i like it.

It ain't so bad as long as the powder doesn't wash up in the back of your throat where it meets your nose that sucks. LOL Of course I have been known to take yellow gold without parachuting or capping it.

ahhh, but I don't really want to substitute for it.
I'm cycled off for a purpose..it's coming back very soon! :woohoo:
no powders for me - I'm hooked on da original! :D

No need to eh Snags, I agree though the 1-C is still not the same as PowerFULL. But if you are limited on money it is one hell of a boost for the price.

Last I saw you have a nice supply to Snag ;).

Man this is gonna be a nice run for you when you hit those Asteroid Stacks. You are already looking great, full and pretty darn lean. What are your goals for the coming Asteroid Stack?

you mean A-Stack plus Jack3d plus OEP/RC combo, with a lil SuperCissus Rx to ease the burden.. :D
(and some other odds & ends)..
ahhh yeah, bringing back the firepower brutha!
I been missing Jack3d too, but have adapted surprisingly well to no preWO airplane petrol.
I think take-off will be the 25th. :cool2:

as for goals - just seeing how lean I can get bro, concurrent with staying in that 195-200lb range.
and..staying healthy!

Nice, I will be running the same thing in about 6-7 weeks.

moving right along, blasted the back today.

3x12 bent BB rows
3x12 inclined EZ-bar rows
3x12 wide-grip pulldowns to front
3x12 D-grip seated cable rows
2x20/15 BB deadlifts

20min moderate cardio.

still some work to do, but tightening up..felt wide when I took this! ;)
(feels good to flex :D)

thx Chris, it's coming! :squint:
yep, still hovering right there @200..I don't think I've ever been this conscious of trying to maintain a weight while simultaneously leaning out. it's tricky! :dunno:

nice, haha! tickets are going fast, glad to see ya got 'em before they're sold out! :439:
just a few more days.. :nervous:
I think I can hold out.

just had another lil experimentation with a shake mix..

1 scoop Mocha Latte Monster Milk
1 scoop Chocolate LG Sciences Lipotropic Protein
1/4 cup wheat bran
18oz water
@350cals

gotta do something with this Lipotropic stuff - got two 5lb jugs of it (picked it up for $22/jug), supposed to be good for fat-burning..decent looking profile, but I remain unconvinced on the whole gemma protein bit. jury is still out - but I shall form an opinion! :)
as for taste - different texture than I'm used to, but the choco flav is pretty decent.

also in the mix from LG Sciences..
thought I'd give their BC+EAA product a go, got a hella deal on this stuff and as you all know, I'm a BCAA fiend!
quick review on that: thumbs up. while I don't enjoy the taste as much as I do Xtend, I can see where some would actually prefer this mix over Xtend due to the clean taste, no grittiness, and no aftertaste. IMO it's very bland. but, I do like the profile, and def dig the addition of 4g EAA's in there. kind of in between PurpleWraath and Xtend - only without the beta alanine or citrulline malate included.
I'm still a fan of PW most, but honestly for availability and pricing for me, have moved away from this one.
