I am officially at a loss :think: .. weight 205 upon rising
while I am holding a smidge of water from the carbs + 2g h2o yesterday, it is such a remarkably different look from yesterday rising..one might think my scales were off, but they track my digi to a T; this is a good-old antique (digi's now packed yesterday as I try to get as much in the house boxed up as possible while I have time)
I really have no explanation here, as I am in uncharted waters - hardening mode not supposed to add weight; and I still don't look like I weight this much at all (to me anyway), but then I never think I weigh as much as I do :D

could be mechabol is already full-function, since I was on hi-dose alpha/andro until switching over, left me ready to assimilate quickly..still ~75mg here, 5 days into use..I simply do not know, but will still say diet maneuvering is playing a hyooge role in this
cals ~3475 yesterday in a 40/40/20% split overall for day (350/350/75)

true off day today, no weights/tennis/cardio at all - much needed and the first one in awhile

Nice 205 and looking good, arms obviously looking tight but the new shave shows the definition in your lower pec from the side too. Nice Serratus / pectoral minor and pectoral major tie in going on there.

Yah that happens on anabolics, weight gain without increase in calories, while you get leaner. I guess it's the added protein synthesis adding muscle volume.

i guess i am doing a level of compounds i have never quite done before tho, with this game plan in place; i was scared to push the cals in my last prep, stumbled mid-stream after being ahead of schedule, and had to scramble to get lean enuff at the end..all added up to a loss of muscle on show day, and i looked depleted as hell imo..not gonna happen this time, i'm older and wiser :p

Yah I remember you couldn't get your head around my sudden weight gain. I knew I wasn't adding any fat though. It is hard to fathom though. You eat the same way off cycle you may even lose some weight then don't change a thing on anabolics and you're up 5 lbs. Like I said it's got to be the increase in protein synthesis during that period. Just trust the system and don't do anythng rash either way is the way to approach it. Problem sometimes is we second guess ourselves that's why your role was so important in my last prep. I will try and help where I can but I don't have your eye. Chris has a good eye.

You look right on the mark to me though.

I'm the same way. I use the nair shower stuff and I don't have problems though. Shaving. I have problems.
 
Nair treats me well...Razor not so much. My skin is sensitive as fuk

I got one of them razors with like 17 blades on it..
kidding, but srs like 5 or something, does the trick
of course, I beard trimmer it first, and really that does just fine till the show, I can avoid the razor - hair just pokey a bit
 
Used the wod that I've had for a long time.. hell yeah. I feel like this will hit my core in different ways. We know what this bad boy did to Dw, let's see how it shapes snags up

Snags! Looking great my man! Definitely freakdom status, your obliques and serratus looking great! Honestly I think your abs look more 3d than I have seen them even at lower body fat levels. The Ab wheel is agreeing with you my friend. Probably keeping your hip flexors out of the equation more so than doing weighted abs crunches and what not. Either way from what I see here the abdominal wall is not going to be flat when you are shredded this time. It already has a more dimensional look!

Screw hiding, why hide? I only hide my body when I am embarrassed by what I have allowed myself to let happen to it not when it looks good. Bodybuilders are about showing the body why go against the nature of that? :D

and you are dead on point about the ab wheel taking hip flexors out of the picture, noticed that immediately when I started doing them..is why I am so hyped about it! my core has always been strong, but again as I've said underdeveloped on the front wall
it absolutely tickles me, that you can see this progress and 3D coming out, with only ~6-7 sessions at this point (lost track but no more than that)

postWO shake has been leveled out, found something I am comfortable with for now
~650cals, 100/50/5 on the splits, 75% of those carbs simple
the og plan in hardening mode was to eliminate this, but I have found I do not need to at this point

Look at that, I am telling you the abs have really taken your physique to a different level. I can definitely see a pro card in your future. If not this show, the next, but man the abs have made you look like a different guy. They really finished out the physique! Imagine them at 3% BOOM!

still working on the whole gamut here but focusing on fat-loss..
when hardening mode ends (shortly), we go back to some muscle-building parameters
I am not done changing my physique here - not by a long shot..got a certain look I want to bring when this is all said & done, and I am confident I can pull it off (yes 3% or lower is the target fyi, so long as I do it right..plenty of time)
 
Nice! Yeah you pull of sub 3% with all of your muscle now and it would be a complete shock that anyone would beat you.

Now if I'm prying too much just say so, but why is it do or die with this show? You have an amazing physique, one that keeps improving since I've been on here. I can understand if its something you don't want to share but I'm merely curious as to the do or die attitude. If not this one why not the next show?

Wish George foreman grills actually grilled chicken. They just get ruined
my Foreman does just fine w/ chicken breast..different taste than outside grill obviously, but gets me by, 8min and POW you're done..on the grill is really the only way I prefer to eat chicken breast tho

but nah man, not prying - I simply don't enjoy stage day that much; I compete for a reason, and the reason ain't enjoyment
I like meeting ppl and all, talking shop, but the whole process is just outside my element
much more favorable to me is the journey there - the learning about yourself, pushing yourself to the limit and to new heights, seeing things accomplished you never thought you would see..overcoming weaknesses, the discipline involved..
stage day is just a means to an end, for me - and maybe i'm just tired of regional/state shows
i'm sure I am weird that way tho :p
 
beans - the only time I see myself getting back on stage again, is on the pro scene
and for that, ima need to take some good time off before my first show, add some size..
at least a yr and more like 2 prolly..lifting heavy mostly, adding size..
that would also mess with the sports I play and enjoy - tennis would be hurt 2 ways, lack of playing often so as to maintain size, and hampering my ability to play and move on the court
then there's my joints and ligaments and whatnot: do I really wanna hammer these things, when I already have issues in multiple areas (both knees, and my Achilles tendon)?
I don't know - but, the pinnacle of one of my goals set in life yrs ago, is to win a pro bb'ing show
the step right below that of course is to get my pro card

2 scoops of casein in 24oz of water. Usually enough to fill the tummy til you can manage to pass out.

Three scoops protein half cup milk two tblspn peanut butter. Mix it all together and u have a tasty snack!

winning shows on the next level is hard..big difference even from amateur nationals
if I can get it done, i'll log the journey right here on AM :D

nice lil dessert or snack - protein fruit pudding
1 scoop your fav vailla protein (or whatever flavor you wish to use)
1tbs natty PB
1/4c oats
1/3 to 1/2c almond milk, depending on desired consistency
couple strawberries
1 large banana

toss in freezer for couple hrs for a pudding, or eat/drink immediately in liquid form
either way, taste is delicious

my personal concoction today came to 525cals
 
~1 week in, update on the mechabol/1-alpha combo:
all is good! :D

no issues at all to this point, only good effects noted..
again I think being saturated prior to this mix on the 1-alpha + 1-andro punch, and at the point my body has been ready to make some dramatic changes, have led to very quick effects with the methyl in play
current dosing goes to 2+2 of each, 2x daily (breakfast/supper)
thinking I am going to push the mecha to 100mg daily and turn it into ~25day stack, before going back to alpha/andro/550/epi combo in some formation for following ~2-3 weeks, setting the last stage of my approach when I introduce couple new items..

diet today was hi-cal/hi-carb day, ~4500cals all told, carbs in ~450 range..
swinging back with current maintained cals (3350-3850) while I am still squeezing fat-loss out of that level of intake; may alter carb/fat content

willed myself thru a leg workout today; heavy leg day was heavy, indeed..

and random note: scottie Thompson is hot! :p

Men's Health never ceases to amaze me, with their silly rankings and what they think they are "qualified" to post "studies" on..
in 2005, they listed my town as the dumbest city in America..now, they rate us as the 3rd-most sexually satisfied city in America!

somehow, I would think those two rankings are in direct conflict with each other lol :p
in any event - sheesh does anybody who is really educated even read that goofy magazine>>>>

another "syndicate" has rated us in the top 8 for most obese city in America in last few yrs.. :rolleyes:
I think these ppl just have a fascination with hoosiers - I mean even most hoosiers don't even know wth a hoosier is

aaaand jose valverde is old, and needs to retire :thumbsdown:
