No for some reason I thought when you said the Foreman that that's what you were using all along
ahh, no sir - but I see above where you could read it that way
this was cooked on outside grill of course, but I have also cooked it on foreman and it cooks differently on that, than anything else I do make on the foreman
shyte was tryin to fall thru my outside grill something fierce!

i'm rolling with all chicken breast (both ground & whole breasts) after this is gone anyway; flavor is good change tho

2oz salmon + 4oz ground chicken + 3oz ham + 1oz roast beef
1/2c black beans on the side, romaine salad as well w/ low-cal vinaigrette dressing

That lunch meat silliness must have tasted pathetic next to the other goodies on that plate

so I did some late-night cardio last night again, even later (~1am)..knew any kind of HIIT/MIIT was not happening, as my legs were fried from the effort earlier..had no intent of doing any last night, it just happened
30min LISS on tread w/ 5min gradual cooldown after - great sweat! got a lil lightheaded toward the end last few minutes, not a passing out feeling but a funny feeling nonetheless -- this is good right? :D
think I was tapping into some fat stores there..same protocol with shower then BCAA+SAA and G8, and same result with quick falling asleep and sound rest thruout night!

awoke looking better once again, this late night cardio thing is here to stay! (not tonight tho)
weight 198 this morning, will guess there will be an immediate weight reduction (not too bad, couple lbs maybe) with reduction in cals and narrowing carb rotation finitely to a lower threshhold
 
Yeah that sounds right on the cals and cardio causing a quick reduction. Not huge but enough that it will be noticeable for certain. Probably dryness more than a lack of fullness if I know you and your adjustments.

I was up late for sure, working out in the evening amps me up. If I don't get to bed right after the exercise when I get the initial tired feeling I end up re-energized. Nothing a little G8 didn't take care of. :D

my local paper had a misprint (I think?) in this mornings edition..talking about the whole Brian Cashman thing with a-rod, them sniping back & forth, the story leads off and makes reference to baseball's "most steroid franchise in the NY Yankees"

9 weeks , this Saturday - you should be amazed by what I will do in that time - if you're not, then I better not even be thinking of standing on that stage :)

Nine Weeks is a long time.
And I wasn't saying you're ready now, but I'm saying at the pace that you've been changing, I don't see you needing nine Weeks. But this allows you to cut more slowly.

@ kleen - agreed, everything coming on well, is why I decided to show these pics all thruout so you all can follow the progress
else - by the end, you may not just believe where it was I came from, in the beginning :)

like aceroni alludes to in "growing into the show" - I approach prep different from the average guy, who gets all big & bulky and then has to bust ass to trim down to stage form
my preference is to build thru prep, and i'm blessed enough I can get fairly lean at the same time, simply thru good metabolism/good dietary direction/increased activity
oh - and of course, good supps..FINAFLEX! :hammer:

as for you brother chris - you have come a ways my man, srs, am very impressed with your direction and achievement
don't be so hard on yourself!

first one had 1/2c brown rice with it; the 4oz salmon/green pepper combo had a ~300cal/45g protein shake on the side

I've actually been low-carbing it pretty hard these last few days (nothing ridiculous but low for me comparatively speaking) in my all-out war on fat-loss; got a nice carb-loaded meal coming up 2 meals from now for last feeding of day, looking forward to it before I roll into the pattern all over again
 
No carbs (<40g e/d, counting broccoli & almonds after fiber subtracted) for 4 days now....float trip tomorrow & gonna swell the heck up! Muscles are gonna go from flat to pumped faster than you can shake a stick. But boy it's hard looking at your meals while I'm on the home stretch! Looking SO tasty.

And as to your pics, you are REALLY coming along Snags. Nuts what 4 wks can do. You are either drier or leaner, or both - core & upper back have a LOT more definition. Nutty almost. Every pic, even at different times thru day, shows notable progress.

I have a question. I know that you tore your calf. Im not here to point out imperfections, as I think you are one of the most stout dudes that I know. But, since you tore your calf, they are disproportionate. Will this serve as a disadvantage on stage, and if so, how do you overcome it? It's obviously from an injury, even to the naked eye. So does something like that just get overlooked or do you make everything else stand out to try and detract from the injury. I've actually wondered this since I started following you.

meh, it is what it is, to an extent..when I get to the end, the difference isn't THAT notable, but it will ALWAYS be something you see as you say..the trick is to find the right poses/angles to hide/deceive as best you can; but it's tough on stage (especially when you're always pulled to the middle by judges for comparisons :D) because the judges are spread out a bit -- when you deceive one of them, you show all to the other end of the row LOL
:shrug: you just do the best you can man - for me, that means focusing on best angles possible and most importantly keeping legs tight and flexed thruout, as everything starts from legs in posing (toughest part for me, really have to embed this in the brain - I tend to relax them dudes at times)

See, I've wondered this about scars too. Say you had an incision at one point and it left a scar that detracted from the overall appearance of, let's say, the abdomen. Would this be something that would hurt you come judgment day?
I get the angles part though, same thing with models. Some of those girls are hideous straight on, but have gorgeous profiles. Kinda like you, boss...wait, what?

you're lucky I have to go workout right now, and can't think of anything to respond with here :rasp:

but scars..again, not much that you can do about that
a good judge, is not looking at these superficial things; while they may detract from the eye to the public in general, it is not what these guys focus on in awarding placement - at all

(believe it or not, the biggest things outside of physical aspect itself ie shape/size/proportion/conditioning and stage presentation or posing, is POLITICS!)
that plays into some rankings more than I would care to see, and can be quite discouraging to some on stage in front of judges for the first time as an unknown, versus the guys who have been there before, judges know them, so decide to "boost" their placing if they are anywhere close to the next guy up

Typically everyones calves are shaped a bit differently. My calves measure the same but on has a longer head on the inside. For something like that to come into play you really have to have a shortage of development not really a difference in shape, that or be so very close in every other aspect that it is the only thing setting you apart. I think both of his calves look very well developed. One is just shorter now which is pretty normal. Like he said politics and favorites play more of a role than anything sometime even when who should be the winner is obvious to everyone else.
