Today is Friday, and that means it's a back and biceps workout.
Deadlift: 365*5
Seated Cable Row: 230*8
Weighted Chins: 115*4
Cable curls w/ tricep rope: 120*16
Seated Calf Raise: 115*30
Dragon Flags: 22

I forgot to mention that I started using AN's new Neovar earlier this week. I like the "pumped" sensation I get from it after eating carbs, but I think I need to work on eating more carbs because I got really hypoglycemic a couple times, like where you lose coordination and feel/act like your drunk. (Alcohol stimulates insulin release better than sugar, and drunkeness is caused in part by a dramatic drop in blood sugar.)
 
I like the Neovar, I have a bottle of the older stuff, is there a big differance? I use it before big carb meals and training. My problem with it is on arm day the pumps are debilitating. They screw up form and make it harder to get my reps done.

new neovar is creatine mono and phosphate. More and more studies seem to indicate that CEE doesn't work as well as originally thought.

Different form of creatine, a lot more blood sugar modulation (didn't get nearly as hypo from the older version), and no rhodiola.
 
o pimptastic addition, i hope to test that product sometime, i have like 9 pills thanks to easy but havent tried them yet... i got nothing from yellowgold doing 1.5g daily i think i did... and i got like 2-3 servings of umm anabolic pump i think its called

Bodyweight this morning was 196lbs, so it appears I'm movin' on up (in weight, not to the East side).

Weighted Dips: 160*8+1 (haven't been doing my rest-pauses lately, have I?)
Hammer strength Isolateral Chest: 290*10
Floor Press: 345*7
Tricep Rope Pushdowns: 70*12
High Pulley Cable Crosses: 90*12
Donkey Calf Raise: 450*30
Decline Crunches: 35*20

Overall a decent workout. I slept in a half hour today, and had some extra coffee. Not sure if that's what caused it, but I had a lot more momentum than usual today. Whatever, I'll take it. :D

DB Bench Row: 65*13 (hand to hip, very important to go hand to hip because bringing it to your chest uses more arm strength and doesn't hit the lats nearly as well.)

Bodyweight this morning was 195.

I was a little groggy coming in, but started to "wake up" more and more throughout the routine, and ended up with a pretty decent workout. Can't complain....too much. :D
 
it's all good. I'm just an early bird. Except today, I slept in a lot today. I don't have work for another 2 hours, so I'm allowed to sleep in.

No calf work today. My calf and leg muscles are currently "out of commission" from both Monday's workout and cardio from yesterday.

Was pretty stoked to get 120's with the DB Press. I hadn't attempted them before. I walked in this morning and said to myself, "Screw it, I'm doin' 120's today".

This was also my first time doing the Tate Press. Not sure if I'm a fan of it or not, but then again, I don't really care for isolation moves with the triceps.

Unfortunately, Mace won't be there, so I won't have someone to stand next to if I want to feel better about myself whenever a female bodybuilder walks by our booth, making me feel small and frail.
