nah didnt come off as a dbag at all!
I normally do like to do bigger weight with higher volume (squats round 405x8 for 3 sets and deads at 390x8 for three sets)
but when i do dumbells i DONT do that
now barbell bench- yeah i do higher weight(250x8) or so
didnt come off as a dbag at all in fact I agree with you 100%
405x8 is a great squat...
i agree with taking it a little easier on dumbells if your just transitioning from barbell - db...
to be honest i think you have a little more strength in you than these weights your posting up
try this:
if you can get 120lb dbs up for 8-10 reps,
warm up with 40s, then 70x10 (another warmup)
and jump right into
95sx10
100x10
115x8-10 or lower reps- these are the kinds of weights you should be holding
if you are working out with weights that you can easily get 15+ reps with, simply put... you are NOT going heavy enough... whether youre a bodybuilder or powerlifter, you shouldnt be using these light weights for anything but a deload... (or warm up, unless you are doing a high volume program such as german volume training)
dont think what im saying is "go as big as possible all the time, no matter what your form looks like"
what im really trying to say is "You arent even tapping into 1/2 of the strength you have..... step it the fock up"
i really dont know if i would even break a sweat with that last workout you posted up.... and you have 30lbs on me!!! lol
dont be a berch... your pinning test/npp- i think if i had one shot of test i would blow up like a tick and be benching 400+ lol
agian... not being a dick, just lookin you out
