RickRock turns RIPPEDRock with Helladrol/Trenazone and LEAN GAINS!!

Wow, Rick for some reason I though you had lost more weight but it may have been those low days. I wouldn't worry about haing that 4rth day because you are using more calories on top of eating more calories. It isn't just the workout that burns calories on a build day it is the muscle repair that is required that uses the most calories out of the two.

That makes a lot of sense. Didn't really look at it that way. Though I have maintained the same weight since my initial 5 lb drop into PCT, I know I am leaner and today I thought I looked bigger than when on cycle. I know I've added at least some LBM, since arm measurements went up some.

PCT DAY 26

It was my last workout of PCT and the last one of this log, but it was a good one!! I killed my legs today and I can really feel it now. Hopefully it doesn't make tomorrow's cardio too difficult. I was pleased with the weight I was pushing on the leg press. I hit them pretty deep and heavy. 12 plates for sets of ten which is damn good for me. Usually I'm doing 10 plates for 10. I also did some arm work today, and it went just as well. I started off with weighted dips and actually bested last weeks PR! I managed to get BW+100X10!!! 10 lbs up from last week and it felt awesome. DB curls went like that also. I usually work out with 50s but went for the 55s today and did get 10 good reps on the first set of those with good slow control. The workout was awesome and I didn't want to leave!

I looked pretty big in my opinion today compared to other days. I actually think I looked bigger today than on cycle, which I know is saying a lot but I was pleased with my size today :D I'm sure all the carbs and Cal's I've been taking in over the last 3 days have really filled those muscles up.

Have cardio tomorrow and then an extended fast rest day Sunday which will be the last day of PCT. I will try to get some final pics up then on Sunday and I'm hoping that I can get some of this bloat down by then but still look pretty full. We will see! ;)

Very awesome, Rick. Glad to hear things have been going so great through PCT. I'm really looking forward to seeing the before pic next to the after PCT pic.

Well done Rick!! Can't wait for the pics, no homo.

What's next on the RippedRock schedule?

I'm pretty curious myself of any changes that have happened through the last couple weeks. I know it isnt a lot, but I know I have leaned some and added some LBM too. I just don't know how noticeable it will be in pics just yet.

Next on my schedule is to run a nice little "natty" stack for a while.

I will continue on with Formastanozol and DAA for another 4-6 weeks, and will be adding in Bridge when my HCGenerate runs out. I also start a couple months of AnaBeta on Monday also! :sgrin:

Only other thing is I may add in some S4 and run that in a pulse also. I'm still undecided on that though.

Sounds awesome bro. I'll be interested to know how the anabeta treats you. I'm assuming you will still be on n2slin throughout? I'd be interested to know how the anabeta compares to n2slin in the nutrient partitioning category. anabeta is basically the only nutrient partitioner I have not tried.

I'm on AnaBeta right now at 6 caps a day (bulking) and I can say that although it is effective, it's not something that will produce extreme gains by itself. It would be much more effective in PCT to help keep gains IMO.

Yes bro. I don't come off of Need2slin unless its something out of my control like when it is OOS. It happened a month ago and I wasn't a happy camper having to go a week or so without. You can definitely tell the difference when not using it. I'm hoping to get some nice synergy between AnaBeta and Need2slin :D

PCT DAY 27

It felt good to get in and do some cardio this morning. I kept it fairly high intensity for most of the 30 minutes. I burned about 400 Cal's jogging at 6MPH with a 5% incline.

I'm keeping the Cal's down pretty good today. The fast breaker was a chicken Caesar salad and 2 scoops of whey. I will have some chicken breast and veggies later and then head over to a friends house to watch tonight's UFC fights. There will be some snack type food there like taco dip, cheese and crackers, meatballs, stuff like that. Im not going to eat much of it at all but will still have a little I'm sure.

I agree man. Anyone that thinks they will get "extreme gains" from AnaBeta or any other natural product is mistaken. It isn't a PH/DS and will not give those results, but from what I've heard it is about as good as you can get from a natty product.

Oh for sure! Don't get me wrong, I'm very pleased, it's by far the best natty product I've tried. The thing I am enjoying most about Anabeta is the hunger spike you get about 20 minutes after taking it, I have a hard time hitting my calories during a bulk so I'm trying to time my doses around my meals and that is seeming to help. Right now I take 1 upon waking, 2 pre and post workout, and 1 before dinner. Surprisingly I'm holding at 230lbs but am becoming more vascular and BF seems to be dropping so I'm a believer for sure. You'll love it, man. Btw, amazing log and even more amazing results! Keep cuttin and growin!

I might look into anabeta to add to my pct when I cycle.

Btw, who fights tonight? Silva?

I thought anabeta had more to it than just being a nutrition partitioner... am I mistaken?

sounds great! I'm looking forward to it. It sounds like it is great to aid in recomp which is exactly what I am after for a little longer before going into lean bulking.

A lot of people have been throwing that into PCT with great results from it to help keep gains, so that wouldnt be a bad idea.

Silva did fight.....and unfortunately won......AGAIN! I would really like to see someone beat him, but it doesnt look like its going to happen any time soon.

I thought anabeta had more to it than just being a nutrition partitioner... am I mistaken?

Oh yeh. AnaBeta is much more than a nutrient partitioner. That is only an added bonus of what it does. It is kinda marketed as a "natural anabolic", and those are the kind of results people are getting. After a decent run of 6-8 weeks most people seem to be adding in anywhere from 2-5 lbs LBM and dropping about the same in weight for those with their diet for that goal. Some have added more weight in a bulk of course, but there is the fat gain in there that adds to the weight. Not as good as a PH, but pretty promising for a natty product it seems. I will find out soon for myself:sgrin:

When they have the Silva vs GSP which has been mentioned a few times by Dana, I think Silva will have a rough time if not get his ass handed to him. It is coming sooner or later, they can't get Cung Le to come to the UFC yet. He told them I won't come unless my first fight is with Silva, probably some huge purse requests also... Cung Le is considered by many the best pound for pound fighter in the world not the UFC the world. I would like to see that happen too. Yet I think that GSP has just as good of a chance to beat Silva.

I may run it later on but I don't know, seems a lot of bottles needed for that run. Would have to at least be a semi sponsored run for me because I am not spending as much money on supps any more. I would buy half of what is needed for the big run but otherwise the wife would kill me.

PCT DAY 28 (final day)

Well today is the end of PCT and brings me to the end of this log. This was a fun ride and I'm happy that those of you that followed were here with me. I felt it was a very succesful cycle and PCT, and I dont think I could have asked for more out of it considering my goals. I started my cycle around 170 at a little over 10%, and ended the cycle at around 8% around the same weight. Since the end of cycle through PCT, I am now at 165 and much leaner...I'm guessing somewhere around 7.5%. I lost some water weight at the end of cycle around 5-6 lbs and have pretty much held my weight since then. I may have lost a little LBM coming off cycle, but I think I have added some also through this PCT as my strength has climbed, arm measurements increased, and I have leaned out more. I dont look as full as the end of cycle but I feel that I look better. I am more defined and vascular, and abs have made significant progress as well through this leaning.

Now to the pics!! First one is the end of cycle at 170ish at 8% and the 2nd one is from last night at 165 around 7.5% from what I can tell with calipers. Like I said, I dont look as full as end of cycle, but some of that fullness came from the water and I did lose some fat weight, so I know I did not lose 5 lbs of muscle since the end of cycle. Another thing is that I took the pic from end of cycle closer than the one from yesterday which is a little farther away and can give the impression of being even smaller than actual. I do think the differences in leanness are apparent as well as vascularity. Tell me your honest thoughts and opinions guys!!

Oh I agree man. GSP is one of my favorite fighters, if not my favorite so I would be ecstatic to see that fight and even happier to see him beat Silva. I agree with you on the supplements man. I have cut down my expenditure on them too as funds have gotten much tighter with our new baby and such. My monthly supplement allowance has received a budget cut from my other half...lol

Rick hope you don't mind, I took a littl liberty in adjusting the second picture there was more of the room showing in it which led me to believe that you were a little farther back from the counter so I zoomed in to match the heights on your body to reflect a more accurate comparison. Very impressive to say the least.

Sweet Kleen!! I appreciate that brother. That puts things in a whole new perspective. I am now happier with my results! I didnt think about the resizing....good idea!

You killed it man. Inspirational.

I watched the fights. Silva is my favorite fighter. I love him. Last night had some awesome fights. Forrest got his @ss kicked:(

Ima set you as my background on my phone so ever morning when I wake up and check it I can be like, "Well looks like I need to hit the gym." :)

By the way to actually critique what I see, even though the shadows are different you can tell that the fat you lost cam off the lower abdomen, everything else is very comparable. I would call the pct a success for sure. Losing the extra glycogen is just that, if you did lose true LBM it is negligible. Honestly though, the true measure of the success of a PCT is are you happy. If you come away frustrated with the gains you maintained ad had realistic expectations then yeah not good but you look amazing right now brother and hopefully you see that as well.

I decided to make that 1-Andro my last run. I don't like the yo-yo effect of being on DS and have built myself to my current size naturally before. The PH's got me back there in a hurry after my surgery but too many things to worry about from sides to gyno to the mental games of the yoyo. I am better of going back to the natty game. That is just me, not that I am not pleased with my current build but like I said I have gotten myself here before all natty, so I can not justify taking any more risks to HPTA or getting older and negatively effecting my prostate.

Epic my friend. Absolutely astonishing. You kept all of it. Lost the glycogen, but that was to be expected. Jesus man, that is really something to be proud of. Bravo

:bow28:

There's a new sheriff in town mofos. Bow! NOW!

U da man Rick

Absolutely awesome, Rick. I'm so impressed with your success, brother.

Great job Rick!

I appreciate everyone's support, advice, and compliments through this whole log!...

Dude, that is awesome! You made a goal, and you DEFINITELY achieved it! EXCELLENT job! You look SO much leaner than you were (like 50% leaner)! If I can do half of what you did, I will be just as happy! I'm definitely saving this log, although to be honest I think you made the most progress in your last log (the Lean Gains log), since that's where you really solidified your LG diet plan, and really figured out where your macros/calorie timing should be at and on what days. Either way, it has been really fun following along in your successes, and I actually feel like I have been tremendously motivated by your success! Keep killing it brother!

P.S.
On a side note, does anybody find that pumps get in the way of muscle building due to the limited range of motion? I just recently was able to start back in the gym due to the problem with my legs, and I'm finding that my biceps get so "inflated", I almost can't perform a decent curl. I was just wondering if that is hindering my progress, and if so, is there a way to "deflate" them to get better range-of-motion? Thanks guys!

And Mr. Kleen, many props on staying natural bro! I found that the DS were really making things suck when I came off, so now I only go for very moderate, short cycles just to kick up the anabolism for a bit. Although I am planning a full-blown SD cycle in the near future. I REALLY want to get to 175 before Christmas (I've never been 175lbs), and then start leaning out starting January. Hopefully that's attainable, but I really have a difficult time gaining weight (not so much trouble gaining strength though). I plan on making extensive use of this log in my future endeavours!!!

Thanks a lot bro. Can't say I've ever had my pumps interfere with range of motion too bad in my experience. I've had some big pumps on EPI that was close to that, but I was still fine in completing movements.

Good luck on achieving your goal bud, and thanks for following ;)

Thanks guys! I will continue on with Lean gains recomping to get just a bit leaner, and then will focus my goal on lean bulking on lean gains while keeping my ABS and "rippedrock" status at the same time. I'm going to try and not go over 8-9% this fall/winter. ;)

Hopefully in 6 months I can be sitting at around 180 with under 8% BF :sgrin:

I've been following along on your last few logs, and I agree with what many others have already stated.

Your progress is nothing short of amazing.

Very motivational stuff!

Keep killin' it!

This is common ground for us short folks! I know exactly what it feels like to have a pump that limits 1-3 inches of my range motion. When I was 162lbs and on SD it was tuff to do a back routine without having to shut it down early due to lack of mobility. Too much muscle in such a confined space I guess, lol.

Short range of motion within reason will not have any negative effect on your growth what so ever. A muscle fiber either fully contracts 100% or not at all. Range of motion is not a growth factor, it may seem that way due to an increased time under tension but it just isn't so.

Get your azz over here NOW! Okay, Okay too much? Come support my wife in her first log ever!!!!

rick, using the S4 for 2.5 wks now. was at 50mg now at 70mg 4-5x a wk, no vision sides what so ever. Have leaned out a bit, but not too much. It was my birthday aug 27th so there was some drinking, pizza, bacon cheeseburgers, etc. diet suffered a bit but will get back on track asap.

also have been on beta alanine, creatine nitrate, need2slin. insane pumps. idk if s4 is adding to that or not, hard to tell

Sounds good bro. I figured those sides would go away or be minimal with a pulse. Thats good to know its working. I still haven't picked any S4 up yet since my funds have been low, but I plan on getting some soon and I will do a pulse once I do at 50mg 3-4x week ;)

DAMN RICK! i just read this entire log start to finish( yes i have tons of free time) best recomp log i have seen period. Virtually best log i have seen period! Truly inspiring to say the least. When Mrkleen73 re sized those pics i was astonished. I wish you luck in your future logs and will be here to follow along in the future. Thanks for your help with my questions about the lean gains diet as well bro. You are a good dude!

i know this is a bit old but i just read the log over the weekend... In hindsight would you have changed any of the PH's taken?

I was very happy with that run, and it really put my physique on another level. It was a big turning point for me. If I were to do it all over again, I may run Katana instead of the Trenazone, but regardless it's a win either way

ty for the prompt reply... I am going to try helladrol and katana...
basically going to follow your PCT schedule too..

LOVE need 2 slin btw, i started taking it after i read all your stuff....
