RickRock sets his training ON FIRE with IGNITE 2!! (Finaflex sponsored)

Yah when it comes to stims I prefer to use more sparingly as then I have to reset my adrenals to get the same effect if I dose too often...

Well Rick what are your goals are you looking for more size or strength gains? Looking at your 2 choices I would assume strength more than size? If going for both why not give DC a shot. I can send you all of that info I had on it again if you want. Also FST-7 could be really good for you, it is 2-3 heavy exercises then 7 sets of 8-12 reps with very short rest periods to get crazy skin splitting pumps that should stretch the fascia.

Actually my goal would be size more than anything. I'm interested in the DC for sure, but I've had trouble finding any info on it. If you can send it to me, that would greatly be appreciated!

FST-7 sounds good to, but I've never heard of it. Thanks for the suggestions. I have less than a week to get something set up on whatever I go with

FST-7 is Hanny Rhambod's creature, he trains Jay Cutler amongst others. The FST stand for Fascia Stretching Technique you can just pull it up or go to Invalid Link Removed I think that is the site. I will forward you that info I have on DC also.

I used to do a 2 exercise 7 set routine, maybe the hardest I ever did, I did 7 reps for both exercises but I would use one as a pre-exhaust so get this 7 reps on leg press then ss 7 on deads... it was fuggin brutal, don't even like to think about it...

Awesome. Thanks for sending over the DC stuff. Got it just a bit ago and just did a quick scan through but I will read the whole thing soon. That is most likely what I will go with

Like 7 rep leg press then 7 DL? same weight each time, or did you scale up with each set?

Edit, just re=read post and realized "ss" means supersaet, answered my own question. And yes that huts like hell. Have done it before too, although I wasn't sure if I was doing more harm than good by doing this 2 x weekly.

Yes, that is where I gathered most of the info from. I took several of Dante's posts in a document for quick reference. For anyone new to DC Training you should go to intensemuscle.com and look into the Puppy Pound section. It is for beginners to DC then you move into the Dogg Pound.

I'm a beginner to DC, but I don't like the sound of starting out as a puppy....lol

Does that mean I should start with the puppy pound stuff, or can I just move to the dog pound?

Well you have all of the stuff in front of you with that paper that is a mix of stuff from both. Not too much different in the Dogg Pound section, just the newbie questions and some beginner articles stickied at the top of the Puppy Pound so it is easy to find.

Ok....my last workout on Ignite 2 and my last of this log, and deload before my 5 days off. Workout was decent for what it was and Pumps were so so today. Energy level was also just ok, but I also didn't even get a full scoop since I finished off the tub...so that would be the reason.

My body composition has been about the same lately, and can't seem to get dry to save my life. My weight was 166. I'm still going to get pics up sometime. I know I sound like a broken record, but I will have some up soon...lol.

I will also have a final review up soon too, so I will probably have the pics to go with it. I would like to thank Doug, Al, and Finaflex for the oppurtunity and everyone else that followed! :clap2:

I will have an EPIC log coming in just days, that I hope to have every one on board. Its sure to be a good time! :sgrin:

FINAL REVIEW

Energy: 9/10 The energy from Ignite 2 was some of the best I've ever experienced. I've had stronger preworkouts before, but most of those came with jitters and the over-stimmed feeling with it. Ignite 2 is among the strongest I've used in terms of energy without the jitters, and having a very smooth and clean energy aspect to it that lasts a long time throughout the day. Another great thing is that energy came from around one scoop. I did dose a little over a scoop up to about a scoop and a half when my tolerance got built up to it, but at first when dosing this, one scoop was more than plenty, and would work great for 90% of the people out there. I just happen to be a bit of a stimaholic...lol

Focus 9/10: On Ignite 2, I had no problem keeping my head in the game at any time. I usually dont have a problem in that area anyways, but Ignite 2 certainly helped keep the motivation going and had me hitting each set at 100% without taking too much rest in between.

Pumps 9.5/10: One of the best aspects of Ignite 2 was the pumps. I had pumps at times that werealmost painful on Ignite 2. On some days, my arms almost felt like they were going to explode because of the pumps. I'm sure that this was mostly in part because of the Agmatine in Ignite 2. Ive used Agmatine solo and in another preworkout before, and had very similar results in terms of pumps, so the addition of Agmatine in this preworkout was a very smart move!!

Vascularity: 10/10: The vascularity on Ignite 2 was pretty ridiculous at times. Like the pumps, I'm sure this had a lot to do with the Agmatine in it, but along with the other ingredients in this preworkout the vascularity had my arms looking like road maps and I specifically remember my bicep veins looking like hoses during curls. It didnt take very long to bring the vascularity out when in the gym either. Even from a cold, flat state in the early AM, I had veins popping within minutes after my first set!

Taste: 10/10: The taste of Ignite 2 is among the best, if not the best tasting standalone preworkout I've used to date. I had the pink lemonade flavor, and it really tasted as advertised and much better tasting than I expected. I have no reason to believe that the other flavors dont taste just as good as the pink lemonade!!

Overall 9.75/10: Ignite 2 really surprised me at how effective it was and exceeded my expectations on pretty much every category. The energy, focus, pumps, and vascularity from it were all great....and it even tasted good too. Those are all things that make a great preworkout worthy of a purchase alone, but Ignite 2 even had more than that. It also had some BCAAs in there, which in my opinion are very essential preworkout. Even though it didnt list the amounts of BCAAs in each serving, I'm still happy to see that they were in there. I wish more preworkouts had BCAAs in them. Ignite 2 also had aminosterone in it, which is supposedly a more bio-available and effective form of DAA. I cant really comment on how effective that part was a whole lot, but I can say that my libido was higher than normal while on Ignite 2...and that leads me to believe that it was elevating my natural test levels somewhat. I did have some water retention while on Ignite 2, just like I do when I run DAA, but it was slightly less than what I typically retain on regular bulk DAA.

With that said, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Ignite 2 to anyone looking for a great preworkout. It was a pleasure to run it, and I thoroughly enjoyed logging Ignite 2!

Once again, thanks to Dreamweaver, ScottyDoc, and the FinaFlex team for the oppurtunity!!

Here is my current pics. I havent exercised in a couple days or even done any cardio. I also havent made any real attempt to dry out any. These were taken about an hour after my last meal too. I am holding a little water in the pics, just like I have been for a little while, but overall I dont think its too bad. My bodyfat and composition has remained around the same as it has for a while now. My weight has been 166-167 and the last time I measured bodyfat I came up with 6-6.5%, even though the numbers from my caliper measurements may be reading a little high because of the water retention.
