You need to mix your creatine in a 2:1 ratio with water:juice and then add 2mg of salt + powdered banana and turkey kidneys. If you don't do this you are wasting your time.

Creatine only absorbs with that combo.

So before God made man, there were days ("on the first day...") Days are ways to measure time. Tell me again how man made up time? It's a measurement of a dimension. Unless God's days are not a measurement of time? In which case it's super confusing for Her (see what I did there) to call them days. A poor decision I'd say.

Anywho, the universe rotates so I guess there's always an axis to measure.

Now I am 100% sure God created cell tech and Prime, though.

The newest rats studies say to use "green" banana and pheasant kidney for better results.

Kinda making my point for me. Yom is a word used to describe time. It could mean something different from what we have translated it to, but it is time nonetheless. There could not be passage of time before man if time is a creation of man. Therefore time is not a creation of man.

Could He have been up to many many more intricate and complex activities beyond the creation of our universe and that the account of the creation of us in our universe is all that is intended to be told in our Bible? The Bible is telling us our story...not the entire story.

Previously stated - For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

Let's look at key words - God created "mankind" in our "image" in our "likeness"

Keyword: mankind
Assumed facts - God created "mankind"
Additional assumed facts - that God only created "mankind" and not other intelligent beings. Who said so? Not God. Not me.
What business is it of mine that He need to inform me of what other intelligent life forms He created?

Keyword: us/our
Implies we, more than one, plural - Father, Son, Holy Spirit:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."

"If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

We are created in the image and likeness - that does not mean a duplicate or replica. We are created in Spirit image and likeness of God.

What is always intriguing to me is how in genesis god is always referred to in plural (ie. us). Similarly the term used in Hebrew, Elohim, is plural as well. Always interested me.

i think is says mankind because the book was written by man, and at the time they were unaware of any of the major historical findings in the future, like dinosaurs before us, a universe that extends beyond where they were , and so on

to say they left out possible key events because they/he felt like it is again picking and choosing what you want to take literal and what not to in the bood.....if he was responsible for everything as in a universe as opposed to just man and earth as is depicted in the bible, id think itd have been recounted seeing its quite a significant thing, but again those who wrote it did not have that knowledge

and if adam and eve had other children but it wasnt noted because who are we to be privy to that information, meh hard for me to accept seeing they were the 'first family'

either way, thank you, makes one think regardless of the side i or you choose to believe in

Not to be argumentative but...look at the bold. You are contradicting yourself by doing the very same "selective" literal and not literal interpretation with "I think". Seriously...not arguing. I agree - this always (been in these discussion many times before) make me think and see new insight - but I still come back to God - with even stronger conviction. :)

Additionally, He apparently didn't feel it was significant otherwsie it would be stated IMO...

It was just before He created man in His image - 6th day:

And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Then on the same day He created mankind in His (their) likeness:

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So according to scripture, no. We are the only living creature with this uniqueness that He created in this account of creation of the living things on our planet.

I often, even within fellowship with members of my own faith, have had to tread lightly when discussing things that touch on this. I always remain critical of text(s) despite what others choose to take on face value.

I am with you DD. I was trying to stay out of this thread. Lol

There is a lot of info out there about the life of Jesus, much of which contradicts the accepted gospels.

Either way, I always respect others opinions and faith. My commentary is never meant to attempt to convert anyone....more for discussion and information exchange.

Do you understand the methods they used to determine this well enough for yourself to know if it is an accurate method? It's a report by someone about something you yourself have zero ability to validate and yet you just take it on face value? Unless of course you do on both accounts then I would be happy to hear it.

Science and medicine for centuries have had the definitive answers for everything until they later contradict themselves with the newest and greatest definitive.

Hey DD, you got me thinking on some of the earlier posts, specifically as a result of age/time etc...

Ever heard of Gobekli Tepi? An interesting find in Turkey which changes our understanding of organized civilizations and when they originated. Thought you might find it interesting, specifically that some of the animal carvings do not make sense for that region.
