With an IV pumping 2 antibiotics into her she was not improving. They had to flush her kidneys for 24 hours with a saline/ antibiotic mixture. She picked up immediately after that.

Praise the Lord that your wife's grandma has recovered so well. It's always exhilarating to see God perform a last minute rescue, as only He can! I suspect The Spirit intervenes on our behalf constantly, but we may not always notice it.

It's my first son, but I have 2 step-sons, a daughter and 2 step-daughters too. The boys have grown up and moved, but 2 of the girls are still at home. I'm severely outnumbered by women now, so another boy helps even the score a little. ;) Thank you for the prayer, my friend. You and your family are in mine as well.

I have shared my experiences with Dr D and Keeper but I think they are relevant for everyone ... plus I need all the support I can get in prayer !

Here it goes...

If you want to change the world you got to change yourself first.
You first need to pray for change and with that comes the provision of God in your life. I question not how big is God, I only question how big is my dream :D Through Him, all things are possible if they are done for the good of all people and in His Glory. Return to Him and He shall return to you!

God is everything that is good in people. Love, joy, wit, supreme intelligence, creativity, He is eternal and omnipotent and He wants to be let out of the box that faithless people have put Him in ! He also wants to be re-united with all His people.

I’ve been thinking, why do people reject God ? It is because they reject the Bible as the True Word of God. They say it is a bunch of metaphors. Genesis in particular, the most controversial Books of all.

Got to ask yourself, who has helped people the most to establish such beliefs ? False science brought on by the master deceiver. The science of evolution. I am here to defend the True Science of our Creator ! Science and God are not incompatible. Science and evolution are. What you believe about how you came about determines where you will go after you die !

I have learned a lot about God in the last few months and the more I seek Him, the more He reveals Himself to me. God doesn’t want from us to exercise blind faith, that is what suicide bombers do. He wants us to exercise smart and wise faith ! He gave us brains so we could use them ! God has personally called me to help in exposing the false science of satan.

satan is the master hijacker on a death mission….imagine this:

you - the plane,
God - the pilot and His plan is: destination Heaven
satan - the co-pilot, his destination is hell
Satan is the one that tells you : you can’t, you are not good enough, you will fail, people are going to ridicule you and reject you, you should just stay where you are and do nothing...bla, bla, bla ……goes on forever….if you let him.​

In reality, it is quite simple, ALL that is GOOD comes from GOD, all evil comes from satan....and people still wonder what to do... eject the co-pilot and live your life to the fullest in God’s glory !!!! That is what we should all do ! God has created our DNA and He has a perfect software for running it ! Most people in this world are oblivious to this because they still believe they evolved from monkeys !!!!!

I wrote this email not 2 days ago to the CEO of the ICR, Dr Henry Morris III

Dear Dr Morris,

They say that we who are true to Christ are narrow-minded and not-liberal. In that case, why is it, that when I ask of academics and Christian Union members at my university to invite speakers from Creation Ministries International, I get rejected and refused ? They say they don’t want to upset anyone and that caution must be exercised when trying to defend God with science. As if science and God were incompatible. What a blasphemy ! God created science !

All that is good comes from God, all that is evil comes from the devil. Laws of men force you to choose while God gives you a free will to choose. All evil came from us rejecting God’s Word and taking the word of the devil. It is that simple.

God gave us brains to use. We should keep an open mind and seek the truth. If there is only restricted information that is being pushed as truth (the evolution deceit), then how can we choose ? Why are people afraid to ask questions ? Is it because they think that God has no answers ? Isn’t He our Creator ?

I flew to Sydney last Sunday for CMI Jonathan Sarfati’s talk. Jonathan spoke in a church, because Creation in Australia is not a welcomed topic at universities. That is such a shame because Jonathan is an absolutely brilliant speaker.

I am looking forward to attending the ICR conference in Dallas on November 13-14th. If you are committed to real science, then you have to equip yourself with the best knowledge and surround yourself with equally committed people.

Prayer Request: I have been blessed with another opportunity to sponsor a young man in the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. Robbie is 21, maybe a week clean. His life is a mess to say the least. I have been there, and I hope and pray for guidance, honesty, and the integrity it will take to give this young man a fighting chance to stay clean and sober a day at a time. When I speak of spiritual change and God he has a hard time grasping this profound concept. I did too at first, but if he wants what I, we have, he's going to have to get on his knees and ask for help. I told him if you want what you've never had, you're going to have to do what you've never done. It worked wonders for me. I just hope he can "get IT." Prayers out to Robbie please! And thanks to God for my salvation today so I may pass it on to those that are still suffering. Thank you all in here as well.

Congrats my friend! I pray all goes well and for your wife's sake soon. That will make your household ratio the same as mine estrogen 3, testosterone 2, to be honest it never feels even that close for me and the boy. God Bless you and your family.

The situation with my daughter is now worse than its ever been - all thanks to the manipulation of my ex. She is a truly awful person.
 
Dropping by to say hi. Things are getting better. It has been about 3 months since we lost our son who had a diaphragmatic hernia and things are getting better. We buried him and are trying to move on. In six months we go to get genetic counseling even though my wifes gyno said we don't need it. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for those of you who prayed for us. This is one of the hardest things we as a couple have gone through. I hope all of your prayers come true.

I want to share something with you; to make you aware - not to scare you.

The divorce rate for couples that have lost a child exceeds 70%.

Please consider finding a good Christian counselor who is both a clinical phsychologist and a Christian; I would strongly urge you stay away from a lay person counselor (I have had very bad experiences with Christian lay person counseling - despite their hearts being in the right place).

It is essential that you pull together, not apart.

It is true. Very few of us have played by the rules when it comes to our relationships with people, so we pay the price later in our families and marriage.

David multiplied his wives (and thus his offspring) against God's advice, and as a result he had too many kids to properly raise. One of his son's raped his sister, another tried to kill David, ran him off and had him living in a cave. It's crazy. Be prudent with 'family' choices.

Just wanted to share with everyone how God recently blessed me!! Got a promotion at work, so no longer am I working in 120+ degree temps with 25-40% humidity for 12-14 hours 5-7 days a week!! Woohoo!! I may have to do it every now and then, but it won't be like it was. I'm now doing what I was originally hired to do. I prayed for less stress, and God answered my prayers!! I now have time/energy to get back on a regular workout routine, and as if to confirm that, I got sponsored with a bottle of Testapro!! God is great!! God bless all you guys and gals!! What good things has God done for you today?

God is good. im blessed aswell im healthy and i was blessd with a second job.

on a side note please keep my parents in prayer. they were recently the victims of a hit and run and the cops say they cant really do much even though they have an idea who it was. but praise God my parent werent hurt.

My prayer is same as yours MC Gun ! I probably said this before, if so, my apologies for repeating myself, can't help it tho :o It is never a question of how big is our God, but how big are our dreams! Don't put God into a box (that is what evolutionists do :lol:) He is GREAT, POWERFUL, SUPREME AND EVERLASTING and through Him ALL RIGHTEOUS THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Salvation is for everyone :D

Also, remember, faith without deeds is dead. Prayer is good but you also have to share the Word with other people, especially non-believers. Jesus didn't come to preach to the righteous ! It is rough sometimes but then again, God is always in control and He will never test us beyond what we are capable of enduring.
 
Thanks everyone for your prayers, they truly work miracles :)

God is certainly helping me in my part of His salvation plan. I have booked my flights to the US where I will be attending the Institute For Creation Research Conference - Demanding Evidence (Dallas 13-14th November) I will also spend quite a bit of time in Atlanta. I will be meeting a scientist from Creation Ministries International, Dr Robert Carter and will also check out Passion City Church.

I have been spreading the science of Creation at my university and God has been great and faithful in rescuing me from all adversity. Just to give you an example...

I have been confronted by a friend of mine recently. She said that she worried about my mental health and that she expressed her concerns to a counselling therapist at university. She also said that she wouldn't "quit on me " unless I see that therapist.

In my own understanding, I just wanted to argue back :swordfight: and say to my friend– I don’t care what you think and I don’t need to see no therapist because I am not crazy !!!! :nana: Please respect my choice as to what I do with my life !

Then I said to myself....hang on, what does the Bible say ? How would God want me to handle this ? :think:

OK, think I got it....I asked God for advice and He answered: What do you have to fear if I am with you ? Go and see that therapist and show them ALL how Great is the God who rescues from all evil those who trust in Him! I will never forsake you ! Do not lean on your own understanding but in ALL ways acknowledge Me so that it may go well with you !

God is certainly helping me in my part of His salvation plan. I have booked my flights to the US where I will be attending the Institute For Creation Research Conference - Demanding Evidence (Dallas 13-14th November) I will also spend quite a bit of time in Atlanta. I have been spreading the science of Creation at my university and God has been great and faithful in rescuing me from all adversity. Just to give you an example...

I have been confronted by a friend of mine recently. She said that she worried about my mental health and that she expressed her concerns to a counselling therapist at university. She also said that she wouldn't "quit on me " unless I see that therapist.

In my own understanding, I just wanted to argue back :swordfight: and say to my friend– I don’t care what you think and I don’t need to see no therapist because I am not crazy !!!! :nana: Please respect my choice as to what I do with my life !

Then I said to myself....hang on, what does the Bible say ? How would God want me to handle this ? :think:

OK, think I got it....I asked God for advice and He answered: What do you have to fear if I am with you ? Go and see that therapist and show them ALL how Great is the God who rescues from all evil those who trust in Him! I will never forsake you ! Do not lean on your own understanding but in ALL ways acknowledge Me so that it may go well with you !

This is very common Dragonfly, so do not let it alarm you in anyway. I will give you an example, a minister I know, used to be an unemployed man who tried to claim insanity to claim SS, but they would say you are fine. Then when he went to minister the word of God, they were opt to give him SS because they claimed he was insane. The same happened to me in MS and HS where people thought something was mentally wrong with me just because I loved God with all my heart and soul and wanted to please him everyway possible. I am truly happy to see that God is ministering to you Dragonfly, this is just the beginning. Remember that when one is rising in God, the devil will look for many ways to attack the individual. Be strong and rebuke satan in the name of Jesus!

Not long ago I watched The Voyage That Shook The World movie.

I’ll find it hard not to laugh from now on, each time I eat a banana, after all we humans share what... ~ 40% genetic similarity with bananas (this is in the extras, by Jonathan Sarfati, a scientist I had a pleasure to meet in Sydney recently) :lol: According to evolutionists, that would be enough to conclude that bananas can teach us a lot about our common ancestors....hey wait a minute, but of course, monkeys love bananas ! :icon_lol:

On the same day, before watching that dvd, I came across a scientific article published in Nature (for those unfamiliar with this, it is a VERY REPUTABLE journal in the science arena): Initial sequence of the chimpanzee genome and comparison with the human genome

I did not bother reading the whole paper :p but God drew my attention to a specific paragraph:

“We next sought to identify putative functional differences between the species by searching for instances in which a human disease-causing allele appears to be the wild-type allele in the chimpanzee..... we identified 16 cases in which the altered sequence in a disease allele matched the chimpanzee sequence”

The amazing thing is that all of these 16 disease alleles in humans (that have wild type variants in the chimpanzee), are related either to cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, autoimmune disorders or cancer. These BIG 4 are no 1 causes of natural death in human population today. Now, assuming a less radical view in which we humans did not evolve directly from bananas but from ape-like ancestors, then how on earth would these disease alleles “survive” the process of rigorous positive selection ?!!!! After all, isn’t positive selection the major driving force of evolution ?

I know exactly what you are talking about Andrew.

What is so crazy about loving God and His commandments ? I mean, people say that God is evil because He allows bad things to happen to people. Nothing can be further from the truth, God gave us specific instructions, IN THE BIBLE, how to treat each other and how to live a good life. All evil comes from us rejecting the Word of God. If everyone obeyed the 10 commandments, there would be no evil. In the New Testament, God made it even more simple !!!! (because He knows we have trouble remembering things, let alone obeying !) : Love God with all your heart and love your neighbour as you love yourself. Obedience to that 1 commandement gets ridd of ALL EVIL in this world !

Now, how many laws of men have been written just to replace this perfect 1 ? Too many to count !!!!

As for therapists and their opinions about our mental health...again, the way they think is influenced by the false doctrine of evolution.

The conversation with the therapist that I mentioned was really quite amusing. She is a very nice lady but clearly an evolutionist!
She said to me in the end (the last attempt of the devil to convince me that indeed - I had lost the plot), how a brain can sometimes play tricks on us and that mental illness can result from "brain chemistry gone wrong". I thought to myself, indeed-that is if you believe that everything that you are is a product of random chemical reactions that were originally conceived in a primordial soup ! That same belief can then also be used to pardon certain acts of criminal behaviour ...after all, it is not a person’s fault if their brain chemistry causes them to commit violent acts.

I can't remember what is it that I actually replied to her but she indicated that I didn't need to see her anymore :D

You are wise and for that I amend you, keep understanding and discerning the word of God. God has plans for you and will lead you to his glory, nothing in life is easy but one must strive foward with each foot. Thearpists are human, what does that mean, they are "imperfect" just as all are except GOD.

My sister is going to Siberia for three years to be a missionary under a student visa. She can't come home while she is there. She has been in school for 9 years and has her masters from the seminary. She needs your prayers. Thank you.

My grandfather died at 5am yesterday morning and i know he is in gods hands.
I ask that you pray for his disbled son, my uncle todd, who was his best friend and has suffered a great loss. God bless you all.
